i got my 5th pin code in less than 3 months from disney yesterday! it's like they know we can't afford to go this year, and they're just taunting me with discount after discount! LOL this time, it's the monsters inc. code for 40% off any resort room on select dates through 12/18! it seems they're bound and determined to get me there! oh, how i wish!

I got the same PIN code. I just finished changing things around through my TA to get a room with me and the 3 kids on Disney Visa Kids stay, play and eat free and one room with Brandon on the general public free dining plan. This came in and I am dying to use it but what I have works out better. I keep thinking maybe I should plan a couples trip for B and I since our 10th anniversary is 9/29 but we are going to Disney with the kids 10/1 - 10/9 so it would have to be delayed to closer to Christmas and then finances get tough. Oh well Disney math didn't work for me this time but I can't bring myself to throw out the card LOL

I don't think I have EVER received a PIN. My aunt got this one - and she was just there in February. We are going for a ladies trip during Food and Wine and I want a 40% off code for my DH and kids to join me at the end of the week. I sure wish I'd see a Monster of a Deal!

I'm so glad I haven't seen that pin yet. I got one last fall and haven't seen one since but then again I've been automatically deleting all email communication from Disney right now. I don't need any temptations right now.

I booked POP with a 25% code, then received a 30% off and switched. Now I received the 40% off.... Actually, I'm leaning towards off site. We just stayed in a one bedroom suite for the same cost as POP - had free breakfast and didn't have to stand in the bathtub to shut the bathroom door! I had a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, blender and two burner stove!
haha...my first thought was to be all "hey, why didn't I get a code?!?!" and then I realized that a code would be the last thing I need right now since we just got back last month...couldn't take the temptation! :rotfl:
We booked our last trip with my first ever pin code and I'm hoping we'll get another one in 2011 which is when we're planning on going again :)

I want a pin too! I've already given into temptation, so saving money on it would be great :rotfl:

i'm sooooooo tempted to call and get a price on a trip, just for fun, lol. i wanna go SO bad! my SIL and her DH have invited us to go with them to asheville, NC, in september (we can't go if we can't get eryn excused from school) but it's just not the same!
ETA: i did call and price a trip, but there's no way, lol, almost $2000, and DD would be taking semester finals, b/c it's the week they get out for Christmas break. oh well, a girl can dream. i'll get to see the Christmas decorations one day...

If you've gotten one of the "Monster Deal" PINs, give us a shout and we'll price up some trips for you (and, of course, you'll get SR cash back if you book!)
Know that if you use this PIN, you must travel within the specified dates. It's not like Free Dining where your trip just has to start within the travel window to get the deal for all nights. If any of your nights are outside the allowable dates, you pay full price those nights - and get the 40% off for the ones that apply.
It's a very restricted deal, and the dates are very limited. Basically weeks that they need to really boost attendance. But still a heck of a deal!

thanks tom :) i really appreciate it, and i wish i could book a trip, but it's just not possible this year. i called and got a price, just for fun, and it was over $1900 with the dining plan ($1961, i believe). that really brought me crashing back to earth, lol. maybe next year!
my SIL has invited us to her timeshare in NC in september, but DD will be in school and doesn't get excused for vacations.

Not every year is a "magical" year - but that just makes the next time you go all that more magical!
Just keep saving those SR rewards and you'll be there before you know it

I have vacation booked Disney World :mickey: for Novermber 2010 and have only paid the deposit. I keep seeing transfer to Mouse Unlimited to get sunshine credit on the forum.
How can I find out, if I can do that with my bookings? I have not paid the balance yet.

You can definitely transfer your reservation to Mouse Unlimited and get your rewards AND our free services!
