Again, when I think of Gourmet, I think of Chocolate! Nice rich dark CHOCOLATE! (Yes, I am a Chocoholic) I like a nice, chocolately gourmet dessert. Here's what I'm talking about:

Guittard Dark Chocolate Flavored Syrup

Guittard Chocolate Company has been a leading name in quality chocolate products for over 130 years and four generations. Etienne Guittard journeyed to the Barbary Coast in the mid 1800's in search of gold. Although, he never found it, San Francisco discovered him for the delicious chocolate he had brought from his uncle's factory in France. Already skilled as a chocolate maker, Etienne established the Guittard Chocolate Factory on San Francisco's prestigious Sansome Street in 1868.

Etienne's grandson, Horace A. Guittard, directed the company's embrace of automated production, orchestrating a synergistic marriage between modern equipment and his grandfather's time tested methods to further develop Guittard's distinctive Old World flavor characteristics and quality. In 1954 he moved the company to where it stands today, continuing the tradition of quality and commitment that have been the strength of the Guittard Chocolate Company for generations.

Dark Chocolate Syrup has a deep chocolate flavor that is perfect for cocoa, fabulous on ice cream, superb in coffee and will beautifully accent any dessert. Strong, rich and robust, use Dark Chocolate Flavored Syrup to make a mocha or hot chocolate with no mess or preparation. Dark Chocolate Syrup works well in ice cream machines for fantastic chocolate sorbet or ice cream.

Each bottle contains 23 ounces (652gr) net weight of Dark Chocolate Flavored Syrup by Guittard Chocolate Company.

When I think Gourmet I think of tasty ingredients that make a dish pop like specialty cheeses, spices, nice olive oils. Anything to spruce up an ordinary meal into a great meal. :)

My DD - the salmon snob. She can tell, by taste, Atlantic vs Pacific and won't eat farm raised!

For me, give me a nice rare filet and a lobster tail. And top it off with some fine wine and a decadent chocolate dessert!

As Rachel would say Yummm-O!

Gourmet, isn't that a magazine that we can subscribe to via magazines.com and get SR credit????
Or better yet, I believe that the most phenomenal, gastronomic, GOURMET items SR has ever showcased come specifically from CyberCucina!

Michael
How's that for a suck up????

I think of an expensive restaurant where the portions are small, presentation is very important, and very pricey ingredients are used. If you were to prepare at home, it would take lots of time and $$.

Gourmet food makes me think of small portions on large well dressed plates with large price tags. Or anything from Cybercucina.
Michael is not the only suck up around here!

Gourmet makes me think of a fancy meal at an expensive restaurant. I have been to a gourment restaurant before and I thought they were feeding a mouse. They had such a tiny amount of food on my plate and I wondered where the rest of my food went.LOL

I am a steak and potatoes kind of girl and my thighs/butt can prove it!!:rotfl:

When I think of gourmet I think wine! Red wine or maybe champagne and strawberries - yum that sounds wonderful. Hmmmm......gourmet also reminds me of all my pre-baby indulgences. Ahem......meanwhile I am with my DS while he is taking a bath answering why is there an orange egg in Ernie's frying pan. :)

When I think of Gourmet, I think of 'The Gourment Chef". It's a kitchen store around here that has everything/anything you need to cook, including those truly tasteful Simsons beer bottle openers: "Mmmm, beer, (sound of bottle being poured), Wooo-Hooo!!

I got one of these for my nephew and it cracked me up so much that they got one for me too. And now we play phone tag with just Homer saying "Mmmm, beer, Woo-Hoo!" :rotfl: :rotfl:

When I think of gourmet I think of my meal in Disney in Epcot in Italy. The meal was wonderfully displayed. We had appetizers through dessert. The dessert was almost to pretty to eat. I felt like a Queen the day we ate their.
