SG and I were talking today about allowing people to click a button that would then set them up to get a daily reminder email about the 6 daily surveys. Do you think this would help? Would you sign up or do you already get too much email?

Personally, I don't need a reminder to do surveys. I do as many as I have time for each day. However, other people might find this good for them.

I wouldn't sign up because I already know to do my surveys! SR is my homepage so even if I forgot I would be immediately reminded when I open Firefox!!!! But I'm probably not the type of SR member that your looking for a response from!!!!

I'm kind of thinking that the people that I need to answer this question probably don't come to the forum very often. LOL

I start off my day with Sunshine Rewards. I like to complete at least 2 before I leave for work. No need for a reminder for me.

I agree Tricia I think there are alot of people who don't frequent the forum or sign on to SR constantly to check there balances (like us) who would love to have an email reminder of the daily surveys. I wouldn't sign up but I bet there are people who would and they are just the kind of people you are wanting to take more surveys. I try all 6 every day so it would be a waste for me but I bet there are people who would try them everyday if they got an email reminder everyday.

Exactly. I know I have a separate e-mail account that I set up just for SR. I don't always check it everyday, so I'm not sure if the e-mail would help or not. Personally, I've got surveys on my mind each morning though. I would think it couldn't hurt though as long as you gave people an "opt out" option.

Out of curiosity, do the numbers go up when you send the mass emails about trying for 6 of them each day? I know I've had a few of those over the past few months.

Dramatically. I would say at least a 20% increase in Greenfield survey completions. Sometimes 30%.

In that case, it might be worth it.

as others have said, this wouldn't be of any help to me personally, because i come to SR to do my daily survey as soon as my computer boots up each morning, but i'm sure there are others out there who could use a reminder. i think it's very kind of you to consider doing this.

I am with the others that it would not help me personally. I usually cannot get on to the computer until the afternoon because of work or other things going on, but I try for multiple surveys a day. SR is actually one of the first places I go once my computer is on! It may help others who don't log on as frequently, though.

When I was just starting out, it may have, but now that I consider myself a 'vet' and being that I start my day taking surveys, a reminder woudn't help any. I am sure that there are people that would benefit from it, but those are the ones like others have said, that don't frequent the forum.
If we are here and regularly posting, we are earning.
thanks for thinking of us though!

I had to laugh when i read the title....thinking who in the world needs a reminder!?!? I need a reminder to do WORK, not my survey's. :rotfl: I can be sure that quite a few of my referrels would do good with a survey reminder. Heck, they would do good if they filled out their profile! ;)

No reminders needed for me either, I'm obsessed with these surveys....so much so, that I forgot to do the pile of laundry that needed to get done today! :rotfl:
I'd only sign up if it gave me information like ssi is converting @ 75%.

I don't need a reminder to do survey's,
I'm glad I keep track on the forum's for which survey's I have completed.
On Saturday, I completely forgot I did a DS early in the morning, and in the afternoon I did another one. When I went to the forum, I saw that I posted that survey. I'm getting to the point trying to remember which survey I tried and which one I didn't.

Unlike everyone else, I *am* the person that needs this.
Actually, a reminder email isn't enough. Can you please fly out every morning, wake me up, and hover over me until I try a few surveys? Please?
I know the benefits, I know that my account balance would soar...I know I like seeing products months later in the store when I was part of the "team" that helped approve the package or wording or whatever. I like surveys! But I have fallen behind, and am absolutely overwhelmed by the concept of 6. Especially b/c I don't know the order that's best to take them in, when I need to clear cookies, etc etc. I had it figured out when it was DS, SM survey, and AMP...but now I am utterly lost.
So hey, perhaps an email stating all of those, clearly stated and easy to follow (because I have TRIED to find posts like this for the current survey offerings and I've been unsuccessful), PLUS you coming out to hover over me, would be excellent!
Long story short, I'd click a button to get emails sent to me. Most definitely. Especially if one of the emails contained the info mentioned above.

After some testing and experience I have found that I can clear cookies in the morning and not have to clear again at all. You can take all 6 surveys in succession without clearing cookies and really without waiting for credits to show up. I have had a day where I got all 6 within an hour and the credits all posted within a little while of each other. The survey head will post immediately after u finish it, the my view within a few minutes and the other 3 on the next hour. It really is pretty easy now that we know we don't have to wait for credits to try the next one.

I talked to SG ever so briefly last night about what kind of "intelligence" we could build into these emails. We can definitely do it in the order that we think works best for the majority of the people (saving the second GF survey for the end). As far as how things are crediting that hour, it would be hard because the emails have to get queued up. But we could do something with the green/yellow/red lights that shows up on the survey page along with in these emails that is based on the number of credits in the last 24 hours.
For example, we know that we get X number of SurveyHead surveys a day on average. If in the last 24 hours we have gotten less than that average number, we can make it red. If we have gotten exactly that number, we can make it yellow. If we have gotten more than that number, we can make it green. It's about as accurate way as I can think to tell how a particular survey is doing. You have to really look at a full 24 hours to see how it's doing because of all of the variables. On the other hand, it can change a lot in 24 hours.

Wow, thank you.
Have other people had the same experience that you have had, where there's no need to clear cookies in between? (I know it should not be different for different people, but as we all know, it sometimes does with surveys, shopping, etc)
OK now Tricia just needs to book her "hover over Molly" plane tickets, and I'm set!

This is exactly what I do too with no problems. I do try the DS first because it pays the most and then I try the rest.

Molly -
I agree with Janet and Pam - I clear cookies first thing in the morning and then only if I'm having trouble which is rare do I clear again.
I first attempt to do the DS and then AMP depending on my time, and then randomly decide to try MV or SH or SSI in some order and eventually I get to the MTC. For me, MV, SH, SSI or MTC can be done in any order.
Sorry I can't help with the hover over you to remind you to do the surveys - I'm a little closer than Tricia but still too far away!!! :D

If it would help increase the traffic on SR and help you guys out, go for it!
The best reminder for me would be, "Hey Shan, before you start surveys today, remember to do some housework!"
With that, I better see about dinner for the fam. :D
