It looks like it might be blacked out for most of your trip...
You can get FREE dining when you book a full price Walt Disney World vacation package for check-ins most nights August 15 - October 7, 2010, October 22-October 28, 2010, November 12-18, 2010, November 27 - December 2, 2010 and December 10-21, 2010.
so it should help ease the crowds.

Mine too. We are there 10/1 - 10/9 and we have free dining for one room with Brandon in it and the Disney Visa kids stay, play and eat free for the other room with me and the kids. So there are a LOT of deals going on during the time we are there. I've been this week before though and it is a ball and the crowds aren't too bad. I look at it as they are offering the discounts for a reason...cause noone is booking those time periods LOL. Luckily I have all of my dining plans made already because we are doing Deluxe Dining plans and we made our ADRs weeks ago.

This is exactly the reason they are offering it....hopefully nobody takes advantage of it because most kids are starting back to school....I like my Octobers slow and not crowded.

You doing the MNSSHP? We are going on the 3rd and can't wait to take the kids. Brandon and I have been before for our anniversary/my birthday in 2007 but the kids haven't done it yet. I can't wait!!

You're right....can buy lots of candy for that! :rotfl: I like the parade but that's about it...don't have any little kids and the MK doesn't thrill me that much anyway, one day there per trip is enough for me. We spend most of our vacation at Epcot. :D

I'm going in October with my Aunt for F&W (with a 40% PIN code) and then my family is coming down to meet me for 5 nights. My fam is not booking with free dining because we'd rather not spend that much time of this shorter trip sitting in full service restaurants. Plus, we'd feel like we'd have eat big meals every day in order to get our $ worth and I'd feel like a swine. I'd rather a 40% Disney Visa room only discount be released....soon. :p

We are doing our trip w/the 40% off pin code. It allows us to stay deluxe for this first (and hopefully not last) family trip. We didn't figure we'd eat enough for the ddp to be practical for us, not to mention we didn't want to be tied to a restaurant every day, kwim? 40% is definitely the wtg for us!
