Disney Book Club

Does anyone know the details of this offer? How many books do you have to buy, shipping costs, etc. Has anyone done the offer and does it credit? I can see that it's Scholastic and have visited the offer site but can't find any details. Thanks for any help with answers or directing me where to look!

Look through the membership agreement, it sounds exactly like the Scholastic disney book club I just finished up with.

"You may cancel any time after purchasing as few as four regular shipments of three books each. "

For the club I'm finishing with, each shipment has been 15.96. I don't feel like doing the math, but it says, before that quote above, "they’re yours for just $4.49 per book ... plus $1.33 per book shipping and handling."

And just like with mine..."As a member of the DisNey Wonderful World of Reading� club who has purchased two club shipments, you will also automatically be enrolled in our separate Free Preview Program to receive, each year, seven-day free previews of a Disney Yearbook, Disney Calendar and a third Disney item to supplement your club."

I chose to cancel that, as I do NOT like having things come to me and having to return them.

With the one I did, after they shipped and charged me, I could call and find out what books they had sent. Even though I was committed to buying them as fast as I could, it was nice to know what was on the way.

And this is what my experience has been, too:

"Please note, when using a credit card, the introductory shipment, all future club shipments and Free Preview shipments will be charged to your credit card."


And yes, mine credited, but I remember that not everyone's did (or maybe that was Disney Movie Club...I joined them at the same time).

I did this one the last time it was offered and also just finished with my required purchases.

When I click on this is it says that I have not done the offer. I'm guessing that means the current offer is from a new advertiser.

Does that mean that I can do this again? My kids like the books and I wouldn't mind the SR credit - LOL.

I would think that this is one you can only do once. Now, that being said, they do have different book clubs through Scholastic and you can do the different ones all for credit. Make sure that the one you did was for Disney and not Ratatouille or something like that. If it is one you haven't done but still offered by Scholastic then I would think you can do it. If you know for certain it is the one you did already I would'nt attempt again unless Tricia chimes in and says its ok.
