Congratulations to disney_girl (Carla) for winning one of our forum awards, the Friend in Need Award! She was nominated by Mary Lynn Rodgers and the nomination was confirmed by the moderators. Here is what Mary Lynn had to say:
As many of us know Carla is an amazing cake designer. One day as I was looking at all of her cakes on Facebook I came across the cake pops that she makes. Because I was doing the favors for my nephew's upcoming rehearsal lunch, I decided I would love to have some of these beautiful looking cake pops on each table. I emailed Carla to see where she lived, if I could purchase some from her and could she ship them to me. Carla living in Texas and me in Wisconsin she didn't think they would ship well, especially in the summer heat, but she offered to tell me exactly how to make them. She sent me an extremely long and detailed email telling me every step for making the cake pops, along with links to the places where I could buy everything. She then offered to answer any questions I might have, and answered each email I sent to her so quickly.
Carla is a very busy Mom, along with her cake decorating, to think that she would help someone that she has never met in person, only through Sunshine Rewards, to me is truly a friend and epitomizes the spreading of sunshine! For these reasons I would like to nominate Carla for the Sunshine Rewards friend award.
