Hotel credits

Hi. I was wondering if anyone new about when these credit. I made an advance purchase reservation but wont be using it until next month. I wondered if it will credit this month because it has already been paid for or after the stay. It wont be much, but I was curious.....Thanks for any input.

Each merchant is different on the travel. It usually depends on whether you are able to cancel it. If so, they hold it. If not, we will sometimes get the credits within a week of the booking.

Thanks for the quick reply. I cant cancel...if I do I lose the money anyway. I booked it last week so maybe I will get it soon. I am keeping an eye on the #8 big board spot and hoping this might help.

Depending on the merchant you might not see it until you complete your stay. I know Mariott credits that way.
