View Full Version : Tickets Now
Wow...I was going to get tickets for my kids to see Hanah Montanna and the Jonas Brothers...but their prices were $200/ticket plus for the lowest! Geez!! I love my kids but come on.:(
I checked with the auditorium holding the concert and the ticket prices ranged from $26-60. What does this company do buy up all of the tickets and jack up the prices?
Anyone have any experience with purchasing tickets through this company?

I am assuming they are ticketbrokers like stubhub and others on the internet and therefore would have higher prices than if you were to buy through ticketmaster.

I was under the impression that all of the tickets were already sold out everywhere. That's why they are so high. A ticket in Indianapolis went for $13,000.

I looked on their site for tickets to Walking with Dinosarus Live, they wanted $200.00 a ticket. I had already bought mine and paid $30 each, and I know that they aren't sold out yet.

I was checking Red Sox tickets for next season which aren't even on sale yet to the general public. They are listing tickets that season ticket holders are looking to unload now... and they are priced accordingly! :rotfl:
So, no, the tickets are not necessarily to sold out events.

Oh, no. I just meant that the Hannah Montana tickets were sold out.
I went on there last week to find out how much Steelers tickets were and they were comparable to Stub Hub and ebay. It's all supply and demand. I guess if you want the tickets badly enough, you pay what they ask. If Billy Joel were to come back to Indy, I'd be trying to sell my kids to get the tickets. :rotfl:

Mmmmmm.... now there's a thought! :D
I've bought Red Sox tickets on the secondary market and Ticket Now's prices were about what I would expect to pay, in some instances actually less. I found the fee structure a bit on the high side, though. Still I saw some mighty fine seats at fairly reasonable prices, so I might just break down and buy them before they dissapear!
