Survey Challenge: December 2010

December is here! (...and I woke up to snow this morning!)

My goal is 60 surveys this month. With the holidays and a lot of stuff going on at work, I have to shoot a little lower than last month.

So far, I've got...

think think think.........my last 2 goals were both 90 and I did manage to make them..........but I just don't know about hitting that with December. December is typically pretty slow for surveys. And I hate to be disappointed in myself.

I think I'll keep my goal at 50 because I know December will be rough for me - there's always a lot going on, so finding time for the computer can be challenging. I really need to get back into a survey routine today so I can get a good head start.

You need to keep your own running total, but you can find all of the ones that have credited under your "account history". A lot of us use a spreadsheet. I have a spreadsheet set up like a calendar. Each day has all of the surveys listed on it. When I complete a survey, I mark the box with an "x". When it credits, I change the "x" to the value of the survey. That way, I can keep a running total for both the number of surveys and how much I have earned:sunshine:.

I have a little notebook that I keep track of mine in and then I check them against what is posted here to make sure I've gotten the credits.

Go to the HOME page, open the MEMBER ZONE tab at the top and go into ACCOUNT HISTORY to see what you've been credited for so far.

I just have a piece of paper next to my computer, divided into 7 columns. I add each survey I've completed on it, and the # it is. So if on 12/10, let's say i've gotten a DS every day, so then under that column i put DS10.....then AMP8.....SH10......MV6....and so on. then at the end of the month it should look like DS30....AMP20......SH25.....MV15...then just add them all up and see that I did reach my goal of 90+.

I'm in! I'm keeping my goal the same as November-65. Would rather over achieve than be disappointed in myself.

I got two yesterday, and one so far today, so I'm 3/50. I'm hoping to squeeze two more in after I get back from the vet, and if MV and SSI load more surveys maybe I'll get even more!

Ok, I am jumping in now. I just did squeek by my goal of 90 last month, with traveling and the busy catering season I will shoot for 60 this month.
So far I have 8 which is a great start. I hope to keep up the momentum!

Last month I went into survey burnout and didn't do anything around Thanksgiving or after - that and I worked three Sundays in a row. My total last month was 50 :rolleyes:
October was 78.
I'll play it conservatively and make my goal 60 for December.

Yanno, I've been seriously considering a netbook for just portability...sitting in my easy chair, is so much more comfortable than my office chair.....

I got out of work 5am and hit the hay at 6am. I got up at 12:30 to try and get a few surveys in, but I was only able to get the DS.

Off to get ready for work now....NEW intern to train and it is his FIRST day:eek:.

Wow! It is impressive that so many of you are consistently able to get 6-packs or touchdowns every day. You encourage the rest of us to persevere!

Because some have mentioned that surveys slow down in December, and I know that I will be getting busier with Christmas - shopping, baking, choir, get-togethers, I am shooting for 50 surveys this month. With that said, I would love to qualify for the Holiday bonus, so many consistently go for the DS, OTX, and Surveyhead.

So far I have 8/50.

Since I work the next two days, I will probably be a little short. It is a great feeling to get all 7 surveys on my days off. That way, I don't feel so bad when I can only get 1 on my work days.

It's almost time to get ready for work. I had about 45 minutes to "kill" so I had to choose between surveys and working out on the WiiFit. I compromised.... 30 minutes of Wii and then one survey! The DS page "could not be found" (some sort of error message) so I opted for a SH instead. This way, I got my credit instantly and I still earned an entry into the contest:sunshine:. I can't try for the AMP until after 3 and I have to be to work at 2:30 so that wasn't an option.

I understand where you are coming from which is why I did not set a goal this month. I don't know about you, but is much more relaxing for me that way--especially with a busy month like December. I am having more fun this way. I also feared the surveys drying up around Christmas week like they did around Thanksgiving.

Just have fun and have your goal be your personal best. Much less stressful.

Last couple of days have been rough going survey wise. Haven't qualified for many, or haven't had time to try-and then a couple of those that I did finish and get the "congrats" page haven't credited.:confused:.

Really super slow going on the surveys. Try everything daily-sometimes multiple times-but there's not alot that want my opinion it seems.

However, I DID make my goal-78/75-yay! (that's if today's GF credits tomorrow).

The last survey I was able to get was on 12/23!!

I admit, I had a few days that I didn't get a chance to try, but these last three days have been hard....nothing.....no DS, AMP or SH. I tried MV once, but after an hour of trying to qualify for anything, I gave up.

I *finally* got a SH today. I tried for almost 30 minutes to get into a DS, but I was kicked out of the 15 that I tried:computer:.

Since I work tomorrow, it is not looking like I will make my new goal of 75 surveys. I *did* hit my original goal of 60, thanks to a great start of the month. It looks like I will finish out the month with 68 surveys. Not what I'd hoped for, but respectable.

Now, let's hope that 2011 starts out with a bang!:party:

ETA: Ok, now I just got a MV!! So that puts me at 69/75....maybe I will be able to get an SSI and SSI(2) later!

ETA: Woo Hoo!! I just got a DS!! 70/75! So, now I can try for the Y2C, SSI and SSI(2)...maybe I can end the year with a 6-pack!

ETA: Just had my SSI credit! 71/75!! Tried the Y2C earlier (twice, completed them both) but no credit. If I can get one more tonight, I might just get up early tomorrow and try to hit 75!

ETA: I tried Y2C one more time and this one credited!! That means I am at 72/75! I am not quite ready for bed and since it is after midnight, I think I am going to try right now for a DS and a MV before I hit the hay.

I got a DS today-and a DS and M02 yesterday. So, the final total for the month is 83/75. Made my new goal:love: Not as good as November, but very respectable-at least for me.

Not holding out much hope until Monday-but I WILL try over the weekend.

Not well...

I didn't get any more and ended the month with 72:(. I'm OK with it, though, because my original goal was 60:clap:. I only increased it when things were going better than I'd planned. I kind of figured that the week between Christmas and New Year's was going to be bleak.

2011 is not starting well in the survey department either:computer:. I was entirely too busy on New Year's Day (worked NYE and NYD) and so far today, I've managed a DS. AMP is NOT cooperating (tried for almost 45 minutes....nothing) and SH is showing nothing available either.

so glad I was able to meet my goal earlier because I havn't gotten a survey since 12/23!!! that last week was tough.....here's hoping for lots of Surveys come Monday afternoon!!
