i thought about you this morning when they showed minn. On gma. You guys are getting a lot of snow. Hopefully, it won't affect your birthday celebration.

Thanks everyone! Yeah my 36th bday will forever be known as the December Blizzard...joy...not to mention the storm the roof of the Metrodome collapsed. We got about 20" of new snow in a rather short period of time...now it's beyond freezing & windy. I hate winter more than anything. Sorry Lisa, it's only pretty for about a day & that day has come & gone sometime in November.

DH went out at 830pm to get us dinner & EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING was closed (learned today that even the Mall of America closed)...so I made us Tuna Helper for my bday dinner...sad. Thankfully we had gone to dinner on Friday night so I'm counting that as my bday meal. Wasn't able to go to the movie theater to see Tangled or get my mani/pedi yesterday due to the blizzard, so now I enter year 36 w/jacked up feet (DH's description of my feet). Oh well. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to at least go get that done.

I will say though, in all my career as a person, this is the first time I've had a blizzard on my bday...usually it's just unseasonally cold, but this year I got the double whammy!! I think it's Mother Nature's way of telling me to drop my #wintersucks tags on Twitter! LOL

But really, I'm just grateful I was able to wake up in a warm house, stay inside as long as I could & had Tuna Helper in the house to make!

Wish I had pictures of the snow at my house. You would laugh! All of East Tennessee is closed down and we don't even have an inch in my yard! Happy late Birthday!

Oh Jen, I'm sorry! For next year I wish for you a bright, sunny and unseasonably warm 37th birthday.

I've been watching Minnesota on the news. Yep, you guys are getting hit pretty hard. DH played the collapse of the stadium roof over and over. He got quite a kick out of it.

I wish I could send you sunshine from Houston! It's very cold but the sun is still shining.:)
