Well some of my favorite forum memories over the years has been Party with a Star offers, Chingy pinball tournament, and rub my duck discussion. LOL

My favorite non-forum memories have been when I've received my cashout no matter how big or small and used it to buy something I needed or wanted. Sometimes it went to things like Christmas presents and other times it went to a fun vacation.

my favorite memory.....has to be an EMAIL sent! I joined in April 2008 and was just a casual member, not really doing much, just earning a little bit here and there for our trip December 2009. Then around the end of June 2009 I got an email that said I was like $10 away from making SM. I'd never in a million years expected to actually make any kind of real money here! But that email showed me that i HAD been making money. So I earned SM, then have been SMP every quarter since then! I LOVE it here......I earned over $1300 last year and have cashed out for 2 $500 disney gift cards, a large paypal cashout and some little stuff. Not to mention all the great STUFF I've gotten! i never would have shopped at QVC before SR, but someone posted about the American Girl Doll sale and I got one for DD for xmas and she was so happy she cried!! We found an online drugstore that carried DS's lactose medicine, and DH loves his Keurig and coffee from Coffeeforless.com. Without that email, I'm sure I wouldn't have made SM that qtr and would never have made the money I have since then.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member and have managed to be a SM a couple of times which is alot of fun! I have used it to afford to buy extra goodies on WDW trips, special dinners at Chef Mickey's and Crsytal Palace, things I never would have been able to afford otherwise. I love being a member...you guys are awesome!

I have really enjoyed being an SR member. I was so confused when I joined in July 2010. I tried a few surveys and thought I would never get the hang of it. I only earned about $3.00 in July. My children were still on Summer vacation so I put it aside until they went back to school in September. I didn't know how it would go but I tried again. It was slow in the beginning but then the momentum started picking up. I joined the boards and it was a great motivator and support system for a "newbie". It gave me the confidence to keep on going. I reached SM and then SMP for 1st Q2011. Never did I think that would be attainable when I started in July 2010. I also recently cashed out for (4) $100.00 Disney E-Mailable Gift Cards.

Thank you, SR!:sunshine:

We found an online drugstore that carried DS's lactose medicine,

What online drugstore do you use for this??? I have to buy lactaid pills all the time and if I could buy them through SR and not make a special trip out for them, that would be awesome! I think this is going to be the year that I start doing more of my drugstore shopping online (and preferably through SR of course :) ) I've just been reluctant to try it so far because I'd like to make sure I'm getting a good deal on the things I need, but I've been hearing more and more great things about online drugstore shopping!

I like how Sunshine continues to evolve and change.
In the beginning, it was fun to collect on the paid clicks.
Then it was the paid e-mails that we received.
I still try at the Freebies, but not as much as I used too, but occasionally I'll pick up one or two a week.
Shopping-this has to be my biggest money maker-I hate shopping in malls and stores. If I shop, I try on sizes in the stores, then go home and order through Sunshine's.
Survey's right now, are the biggest money makers for me.

I was pretty excited last week, when I got all 8 Survey's.
I called it the Magic 8 Ball.

So many memories! The crazy discussions that made me do everything from giggle to guffaw. The growing of the lovely community that did things like send snow to Lisa and suprise wedding and shower gifts. Being able to afford the extras on Disney trips (like taking my mom on a tour or going to the Halloween Party).

But, I think my best memories came from meeting all the wonderful people behind that magic when we sailed on the Disney Wonder! So much fun!

I actually got my mother to join last week. I think my favorite moment right now was walking her through her first purchase on AIM the other day and then yesterday she told me her credit of 5.85 is pending. Right now I'm trying to help her get the Join the Forum credit!

I joined SR on 2/1/2006 and I've been gung ho ever since!! :rotfl: I absolutely love receiving my $500 GC and then happily spending them at Disney...nothing better than free money!

Loved all the games we used to play in the beginning and I miss some of the original members that are no longer participating but all in all SR is still a place that I don't know what I would do with my time if it weren't here anymore.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY SUNSHINE REWARDS and many more!!

I joined in June 2007, so I have a lot of fond memories of SR but the one memory that specifically won my heart and I knew I didn't want to be anywhere else was when I got this email:

November 22, 2007

Happy Thanksgiving from the Staff at Sunshine

Lisa,

The staff at Sunshine Rewards decided to put aside the commercialism of the holidays for a day and instead focus our email to you on what we are all thankful for this year. Below is a short note from each of our employees.

Tricia:

It's almost easier for me to say what I am not thankful for this year than what I am thankful for. I have been so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who enrich my life every day. God has provided for me more than what any person deserves. In addition, Sunshine Rewards has given me the means to do what I love while at the same time helping me be available for my children, providing for my family, and making literally hundreds of new friends. I'm the true definition of a "lucky girl" in every way possible.

Kevin:

I am thankful for a wonderful and healthy family. They are my rock and I always know that they will be there for me whenever I need it. I couldn’t ask for me. Especially my wife who through thick and thin has always supported me and been there for me. Even when she tells me I am goofy or weird, I know she would do anything for me and hope she knows I would do the same.

Cindy:

Everyone asks me what I’m thankful for and really, it’s the same old stuff that people say--family, health, my house, my pets, yada yada. But, in realty this year, I would like to say that the thing that has been the greatest for me is working for Sunshine Rewards. Not only because it's brought me closer to my daughter, but it's started my career path in a different direction and I’ve met so many people on SR and made friends from around the country and and it's truly changed my life.

Angie:

I am thankful this year for the simple things in life that we often take for granted. I am blessed to have a beautiful home filled with love and laughter. I have two healthy children that have bright and shining futures ahead of them. I am surrounded by friends who love me just as I am. I live in a country that stands by personal freedom and protects peace, and I have the right to worship my God. This Thanksgiving is much like all of the others filled with family, friends, and food, but I hope we all take time, even if only this once each year, to realize that we truly have a lot to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving to all of the members at Sunshine Rewards! May your day be rewarding and filled with sunshine.

From the staff at Sunshine Rewards, please accept this paid email as our thanks to you for your continued membership.

My best memory is being able to produce my Disney GC to show my husband and tell him that we don't need to put spending money in our budget because I had my GCs  It made our trip that year so much more fun !!

First of all I must say that I love SR. It is my favorite rewards site. I joined sometime in 2009, but I was confused on how it worked and so I stopped logging in. Sometime in February of 2010 I heard someone mention SR and how it helped pay for their WDW trip, so I decided to give it another try and I am so glad that I did. I am now going on my own WDW trip this March and SR has helped in a big way.

I love how friendly and helpful everyone is and this has made me feel welcomed...Now I try to get as many people to join so that they can experience SR for themselves.

I remember these memories. I loved planning my wedding and having everyone vote on my dress. It was so much fun and much more relaxing doing it online than any other part of the process. I can't wait to have everyone help with paint colors next week. I feel like I've been growing up on here with you guys.

I have been a member here for what seems like forever. I remember starting out and there being only a few offers and then SM being announced and one by one my friends joining. Sunshine has helped me through some tough times both financially and as a group of friends. For that I am forever grateful.

Like others, I have many fond memories. It's hard to beat the excitement when we had the "BIG" Disney cashouts where we could purchase the cards at a discount. I can remember crashing the site with all the hoopla this brought on, lol! You would have thought we all won the lottery! :rotfl:

One of my best moments was meeting Cindy, Angie and some of the New England SR contingent in Boston a couple of years ago. We had a blast!

I also had a great time at ~Kathie's house for our last New England meet last year. Everyone I have met in person has been soooooooooo nice! Would love to meet others, too.

Happy Birthday, SR! :birthday4:

my best SR memory was in, i think, december of 2008. i was going to swap a disney GC with another member for a lower denomination, and, of course, the GC i sent to her got lost in the mail. since it hadn't been used, tricia got right on the situation and got disney to issue me another GC! talk about a Merry Christmas! i LOVE sunshine rewards! :sunshine2:

oh, and just as a side note: those disney gift cards i got through SR paid for food for a week at wdw in june of 2009, and there was even enough left over for a couple of souvenirs!

There are so many memories, it's hard to narrow them down. But I loved those early scavenger hunts, even though I never did very well - must have been the challenge that kept me trying!!
And I loved the 'secret pal' gift exchanges we used to have with Forum members who signed up to participate.

I was totally thinking this the other day...you and Mike are like the SR couple.

I've been around for a while, and I love you all. However, the time I really knew how great everyone here was was when Tricia's uncle died and I posted about sending flowers. The outpouring I got from my fellow members was amazing. I loved the Boston meet and the WDW Meet.

WOW...I have to say I was really surprised when Tricia posted about the 5th SR birthday...the time has really flown by since I became a member over 41/2 years ago!

I have lots of memories from here. Among my favorites:

The Boston meet up and the meet at Kathie's house. So wonderful to put faces to names and posts. So many genuine and lovely ladies I have met that I consider true friends!

Sitting at my computer (desktop at the time) on hot summer nights with a yummy frozen drink and participating in chat while trying to figure out Tricia's and Cindy's crazy clues to win contents in the forum and laughing so hard my dh thought I was crazy!

Being at Disney and reading all the birthday wishes here in the forum a few years ago.

My first time receiving a giftcard in the mail and not quite believing it was all real!

All the awesome online merchants I have been introduced to that I never knew existed!

Praising my dh up and down the first time he remembered to go through SR when making an online purchase!

The absolute best for me overall is the wonderful cameraderie I have found here and genuine friendships that have formed! I may no longer be a big earner, but I will stay loyal to SR. Tricia's integrity has proven itself true. Can't imagine not having SR around!

Happy 5th b-day SR!!!:sunshine:

Most of my favorite moments with SR have happened recently. Although I've been a member for over two years, it has only been recently that I've had the time to commit to earning. Before, it took me a year to earn $25. Last quarter, I earned enough to become a SM for the first time! That is so exciting for me because it made me feel like I finally made it on SR! I'm part of the elite club ;)

Also, I love watching SR grow. From more survey opportunities to the expanding list of merchants, SR gets better and better. Can't wait for the next 5 years!

My memories have got to be the amazing people I have met through SR. FIRST was the trip to MOA where Jen showed us the best MN had to offer. Then Disney Cruise helped me become so close to so many cool people...Cindy, Shelly, and Traci by name. The Disney SR weekend at Saratoga Springs in the Treehouses brought cool friend, Magical Jen, back!! These are friends I can call on in good times and bad in my life. I know they all feel the same way. Shelly is even making the ultimate sacrifice and spending time at WDW with me next month when I have to fly down for a conference. Where else can you find a friend who would leave her job to hang out at WDW for 4 days?? :rotfl: (Work, I am going for work  )

There are some cool people here at SR...cool people...

First and foremost...my best "memory" is getting caught up with an old friend!

And all the support of the members on the forum. Everyone really wants to see people succeed here. That's great. And of course, cashing out for Disney Gift Cards! My last trip in September was the most awesome trip I have ever taken, and it wouldn't have happened without the extra money from SR.

My best memories are how incredibly nice and caring the people on this board can be. The Sunshine forum is unique for being exceptionally friendly, fun and just plain nice.

Running home, after work, to do as many freebies as possible for whatever contest was running.

Coming home, after work, to just to check the forum to see what everyone was up to. Kind of like Facebook. LOL

Catherine and Mike's wedding...I still talk about the zoo wedding reception and wonderful honeymoon pictures. And, just yesterday, I was telling someone about the oven mitts and the puppies. LOL

Blessing and Miracle...they are both and they are fun to watch grow up. I tell my friends who are struggling to conceive about them.

Tricia's girls. They are fun to watch grow up, they remind me of my girls.

Magical JenK's bullies.

Gift cards, gift cards, gift cards...they allow me to spend money without a guilty conscience.

Running into Tricia at Disney, last summer. I felt like I had just seen a movie star. My kids thought I was crazy for going up to her. But, she is incredibly nice, down to earth and normal. So, I guess she isn't a movie star. LOL

I'm pretty late in this game...January is like a blur...so first, Happy Belated Birthday SR!!! So many of these memories made me smile!

When I joined SR there wasn't a forum...it came about 3 months after I started & it couldn't have been at a better time...the forum really made us family & when I needed support I got it. Whether financially (oh yes, those were the days when we crashed the site getting the Disney GCs at a discount LOL), or just being there when I wanted to talk about Disney, my bulldogs, As Seen on TV Products or getting motivating for working out...this support turned into friendship!

Real Life friendships even!! Who would have ever thought, Friday night chats w/drinks (like diet coke of course) would turn into people giggling to this day about Partying w/Chingy & planning trips to meet each other?! Or how could we forget the gift exchanges or surprise gifts we'd sent other members just 'cuz (but of course going through SR to get credit!!). DH was always shocked when I'd get something in the mail from one of my "internet friends"...hahahaha.

To me, it's just amazing that a site brought so many random (no offense) people together & so many of us have continued to follow each other even when not on SR (via Twitter, blogs or FB). It's truly a family here & even though I haven't been on as much as I used to, know that I love you all, miss your stories & smiles & wish SR years & years of continued success!!
