Anyone done this one? I was wondering how many phone calls it might generate.

I would expect it to generate many phone calls since it is for quotes for insurance and those typically do have alot of phone calls attached. I know that the price of health insurance is skyrocketing so it is always a good thing to check out what you can get from someone else. I might do it to see if I can get insurance for me and the kids cheaper or with better coverage than with Brandon's work. His is paid for but ours is not. If you have a really good insurance I wouldn't even bother doing it since it will have many calls I am sure.

#1059962 Paid Signup: A SIMPLE HEALTH PLAN 3.00 Credits 01/14/2008 Paid

I just did this one and already have the credit. Haven't received any phone calls yet but I'd like to have the information so I'm hoping they call.

I just completed it just to see what plans they offered and pricing since my company changes coverages and prices every couple of years it seems. The pricing and companies were fairly good and they were all reputable companies. Not sure if that will help you any.

I did the one last time and got two phone calls. The one guy was actually from downtown Indianapolis, so it wasn't even just some kind of big national thing. He was from Blue Cross/Anthem and I got some great info from him on Health Savings Plans, which I think is what we are going to move to when SG doesn't have employer coverage anymore.

I'm interested in what the insurance would cost if I purchases on my own, but don't want 10 phone calls a night. Thanks!

I was curious as it seems like I pay so much for my employee-sponsored insurance....and I did get credit almost immediately.

I just got off the phone w/ them, and it was a little better rate, and it included dental, which I don't have now. Single mom self employed in NJ is just crazy expensive as it is, even though it is tax deductible, still nuts.

Did you get any email to confirm? Thx!

I think I'll do this one in the morning. I have been needing better insurance for a while...just dreading the process lol

Do they offer just dental insurance? We have great health care coverage, and decent regular dental, but nothing for ortho. And I know we're going to be starting down that braces path with our kids soon.

well, I submitted my info and I already have credit! WOW! No phone call yet- I truly am curious if anyone out there has ortho insurance. I doubt it...

Well, I did this offer but haven't seen credit :( so I don't know what the deal is - no phone calls either, but an email.

I tried this offer - no credit, no calls yet, and no email. I guess I should try it again.

I tried this one twice, 1 email and no phone calls. We are really looking at insurance too! Gee....

I tried this one, too. I don't think I got an email...unless I accidentally deleted it while filtering through all my junk mail. Who does the email come from? (I mean, what is the email addy?)

If anyone can tell me I'd REALLY appreciate it! :)

I did this offer last evening, received at least 5 different emails from them immediately, and a phone call or two. I didn't recieve any credit, and if I'm not mistaken, from reading a post from SunshineGirl, we are not supposed to retry offers within 30 days. I wonder why the offer credited for some immediately and others aren't getting credit? I do all the usual things to ensure that offers credit but no luck for me.

I waited and waited to do this one and now it seems to have gone sour.

Actually it is still a good offer Sammie. I did it yesterday and got credit. I just wanted to tell you guys that if you get a phone call and the health insurance doesn't seem reasonable make sure to ask about other forms of insurance. I just got a phone call from one local guy and he couldn't do better on the health insurance but he gave me a great price on life insurance for both Brandon and I. I know its crazy we don't have anything yet but we have been putting it off and saying we were going to get it eventually. Now is as good a time as any. They just made their 3.00 back off of me LOL but at least I got rewarded for something I needed anyways! It seems that many of these people are brokers and offer health, life, auto and home insurance so make sure to ask about any of those you might be interested in.

I still want to see what they have to offer, but the sour part is no credit.

I did this one last night since I need insurance for my DD who is losing her coverage because my DH changed jobs. I have not yet received credit but got a phone call EARLY Friday morning from a very pushy agent.

I must have done something wrong with this one. I signed up and haven't even gotten a phone call. Unless they called this week-end while we were out camping.

I got lots of phone calls with this one but no credit! Don't know why that would be when it seems to have so quickly credited for almost everyone
else:( . Since I know it went thru by all the phone calls why wouldn't the credit come thru - oh well, don't get 'em all, I guess.

I'm in the same boat. I did this offer last week, got phone calls on Friday and Monday but still no credit. Can't figure out what the problem might be.

you can add me to this list also - lots of phone calls and emails but no credit for this one - anyone have any answers as to why this is happening.

Honestly it is luck of the draw just like any other offer. Sometimes the cookies just don't make it or something else happens. It isn't something that can be controlled. Sorry!

what i don't understand is that if you get the confirmation email from the sponsor or phone calls why should it not credit? they have my information otherwise they would not be able to contact me so i just don't get it and it's not fair. you sign up for things that you are really interested in and sometimes you get credit but most of the times you don't - how totally and utterly irritating that is - they have all the info but won't pay.:(

Frustrating I agree but it is part of the risk we take for doing offers. None of this money is guaranteed. We accept the offers from the advertisers and are offered payment for the offer. In exchange we agree to give correct information and we are not allowed to dispute any that don't come through. Some offers are very good and some are just ok. I think that the number of people who don't get credit is far smaller than the number who do. This means that the offers are working. They aren't perfect but the majority of people are getting credits. It would be wonderful to know ahead of time which ones will work but that isn't possible.

I agree. It didn't work for me but something else will.

Any update on this offer? I'm still receiving phone calls and e-mails regarding insurance but no credit. Should I just write this one off and remove it from my pending list?

lanny76
02-01-2008, 09:42 AM
I am not getting any more calls or emails about it, and I have pretty much given up on it. I guess I am just going to leave it in my pending for the 30 days, but it's not one I plan on retrying anyway!
