SR site problem this morning

There is a network issue at the SR hosting company. They are already aware and I am working with them to restore connectivity ASAP.

i did have some T1 flapping this morning on my INet group at work this morning. THe hosting side of the company had an even worse problem.

I think it is back up now. At least starting to come back up.

why is it as soon as we fix one hosting problem, we have another? :computer:

I'm having a lot of problems getting SR to load this morning. Sometimes it does right away, other times it is extremely slooooooooooooow, even giving me an error page occasionally. Anyone else having problems, or is it just me? The forum is loading just fine, just having problems with SR to do surveys, etc.

I had the problem at 730 ish when I logged in this morning, but the last 20-25 mins have been just fine. In the middle of a survey now and I'm doing ok.

It is a little sluggish here too. Sometimes it is running fine, other times it says page cannot be found. Not a big deal though. Let them sleep in! Too many bugs around that is for sure!

I am also having problems getting SR to pull up. Very slow and the menu on the left was missing. Once I did, graphics are a problem as well as the surveys. Tried to do an OTX and was almost finished when an error page came on and threw me out. :computer: Tried to go back but got the "you've done too many in a time period" type of message. I got the same message Saturday. (Does this qualify as 2 separate posts?). Haven't done one since Friday. Even waiting 24 hours isn't working. I've now lost six or seven OTX surveys that either finished through the Thank you page or the two this weeknd that just tossed me out. :( :( :(

I can see why you are frustrated. However, SR running slow is a rarity. SG is fixing it as we speak. Wait a few hours until Tricia posts the OTX survey for Sunday (if she hasn't already), clear cookies, and see if you can try again. I wouldn't try to do a survey while SR is running slow. I'm sure things will be back to normal shortly.

I had the same thing happen to me when I used Safari, I was able to get on though, with Firefox!

I gave it a rest and tried again. Still getting that error message, both on IE and MSN. It has a nice picture of a flower pot, too, which doesn't show up in my copy of the page. I'm not having any problems logging into SRforum and going backwards to the SR site, though.

I will keep an eye on it but i think it is fixed. I restarted the webserver and changed an option in the config file.

Anyone else having problems with SR this morning? I can get on...sometimes...and other times I get an error message. Also, when I do get on, it is running very sloooooooooow. I have also found that the site doesn't completely load at some points (like some of the graphics) when I do get on. Other times, I get it to load, but have a difficult time navigating through due to slowness. I just want to make sure it is not my computer. I am going on via IE.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Daily Survey? I can get the demographics in, but when I click 'start survey', the hourglass just hangs there. Couldn't get into Greenfield through the SM survey link either.

I took one last night around 8:00 pm - I don't think that should effect today's survey.
