for the last 4 days i have been able to get my otx survey at around 9:30 in the morning so today i tried at 9:30 and got the exceeded message. i waited a half hour and just tried again at 10 and got the same message. how is that possible as it has been over 24 hours since i did my last one and it credited.:confused: guess i shouldn't complain too much as i was able to get one for 4 days so i knew my luck would eventually run out and otx would get moody again. oh well, i'll just keep trying and if i get one i get one, if not there is always tomorrow. hope everyone has a great friday.:sunshine:

I am verey rarely able to do these every day as I get that message. So weird because it can be like 30 hours and it still says it. It also says maybe I did the survey at another site but I purposely do not do surveys other places so I can do them here.

OTX are my least favorite surveys anywhere.

it's nice to know that i am not alone. otx surveys some days are easy to get and some days all i want to do is scream because of their exceeded message even after waiting the 24 hours and knowing that this is the only site i do them on. maybe we'll get lucky and get one. will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get one today. have a terrific friday and keep smiling.:sunshine:

Yes, OTX are the least fun because I very often get booted out or it freezes. When I try to go back and do another, I am banned for 24 hours.

i finally get in to an otx survey after trying since 9:30, get about half way thru it and the page stop loading. hit refresh at least 3x and nothing but a plain blank white page. closed out of it, cleared out my cookies to try again and now it says i have reached my limit for the day. UGH!!!!:computer::computer::computer: TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got way into one with my son and then if froze, we tried everything to get it to work, We watched the video 3 times, but the next button wouldn't work, so we finally X'ed out and now it says sorry we have already did a survey... Oh well, I guess there is always tomorrow.....

Oh sorry you didn't qualify I did get that one this morning and was able to go through it all the way. I received credit for it, although it was NOT the full 25 mins it said it would take.

It took me 8 tries to get an OTX today. Then it took me 40 minutes. First it asked me what time I goto up yesterday, then went to bed. Then I had to tell everything I did.

Then it went on and on and on and on on television, phone, computer habits. Way long.
It asked me in the end, how I rated the survey, I was afraid to post bad, I didn't want it to not credit.

After not getting an OTX for 5 days, I finally got this gas station one and had the same problem. After giving them free data for 10 min it said I wasn't qualified. However, it did give me the qualify for a different survey page which took me to a video game survey. This was easy and let me get all the way through.

I tried all the options this morning...and didn't qualify for anything...
I just tried again, and managed to get a survey that the kid did for me - yeah...
so if you tried this morning and made it all the way though and didn't get one... try again...obviously they loaded some new ones...
I'm so happy I got one for the contest!

Took 6 tries, and finally just finished one on frozen breakfast items.
I think the first 15 minutes was a virtual magazine, then it asked me about the ads, the the breakfast food. .75 for a 30 minute survey.

i totally feel your pain and frustration. just relax, take a deep breath, grab another cup of coffee and try again in about an hour or so (don't forget to clear cookies first). will keep my fingers crossed for you that you can get your otx survey for the day. keep smiling.:sunshine:

you are very welcome. otx some days works and some days is very moody and won't let you take one no matter how long and hard you try. all you can is attempt one and if you get one that's great, if not there is always tomorrow to try again. i still stress sometimes when i don't get one but i am trying not to do that as much anymore as it is only a survey and not the end of the world (the 75 cents is nice but sometimes not worth the stress). does that make any sense?

Yes, lots of sense. Actually, I usually do just keep trying or just give up for the day. It is just irritating when you spend the time for nothing. Bothers me more some days than others, but no big:)

my biggest gripe with otx is when they tell you that you have exceeded your limit even when you know it has been well over 24 hours since your last survey was taken and credited. if i can't get one after about 3 or 4 hours then i give up and try again the next day. all you can do is try and sometimes you will succeed. have a wonderful thursday.:sunshine:

Has anyone ever gotten the survey, that starts out with, "what kind of dwelling do you live in." Then it asks "how many people live there". Then how many cars are at the dwelling. Then it will go to a page, and you have to put the persons male/female and age. I get the "do not qualify" page every time.

I get this one every time I log onto OTX. I have put every scenario I can think of. It is almost a joke. I even put a boat for a dwelling just to see if I would qualify. I know we are suppose to be honest, and I am, but after getting it every time and being kicked out, I just started entering other scenarios. Kicked out every time.

Ha ha ha! LOL! I get that qualifier each and every time I try for an OTX. I never even thought about trying for different scenarios. I always just enter my info and then wait for the rejection. It is a pain to enter the info knowing you'll be kicked out though.

Yes, I get the same one every single time. But, no matter how frustrating it is, if you start entering dishonest information, we will quit getting the opportunity for these surveys. Not worth it to me.

i guess my luck has finally run out. for the last couple of days i was able to get my otx survey started at 2:30 so i tried today and am getting the message that i have exceeded my limit for the day (my biggest gripe with otx). oh well, will try again at 3 and see if that works any better. maybe someone out there can say a little prayer for me that i get one. will try not to stress out too much about this as i have done pretty well with otx surveys this month so i have not a lot to complain about. hope everyone has a great day and keep smiling.:sunshine:

I finally got an OTX. It was stange because it didn't go through the typical married, how many in family, cars at home, etc... It just went right into saying I qualified for a 10 min. survey. It was on southern california theme parks and our vacation plans. Pretty easy and I've already received credit. Keep these one's coming!:D

I am having a bunch of bad luck with surveys not crediting.....is anyone else having a problem? I have 2 greenfields, 1 otx, and 2 sm surveys that have not credited in the last 4 days. frustrating. I wonder what I am doing wrong? Never had a problem before.

I was reading your post, I had the same problems at least with SM. First I finally figured out my problem. I was using firefox 3 for DS and SM. It turns out I think it was a firefox 3 issue. I removed it and went back to firefox 2. I do GF in firefox, I then went to IE and tried for 1 week with SM and each time they credited for me. I did try once to do it firefox 2 and it did credit, but I do not want to press my luck. Now what I know is Firefox is good for GF, I do SM and OTX in IE and no credit issues for me anymore. ALso I was doing offers in firefox 3 and no credit either. I posted here and was told firefox has blocks cookies and I may not be aware how to allow, which I thought I did, but I think not. I hope this helps you, I was so frustrated for over 6 weeks unitl I start trying different things. It worked out, hope this helps you.

Mine didn't credit either on the hour so maybe they are just delayed today.

MarcyMajor do you do any other rewards sites that you clicked and closed out of an OTX survey or did any of the SM surveys try to route you throught OTX, sometimes when that happens it logs it as having done a survey

it took me over 3 hours this morning to get my otx survey and i finished it after 10:30 and it did not credit on the hour. that really sucks.:computer::computer::computer: my otx survey just credited. it took over 1 1/2 hours but at least i got my 75 cents. now i feel better.

I just did an interesting OTX that showed me video's, advertisments, and a virtual store tour. I really like these because it challenges me to pay attention and think a little. Got credit within an hour.

Tried for a survey this morning and got a message that all surveys have reached their quota. Never saw that one before. Have been having a really hard time qualifying this month, but there at least were some to try for. Maybe later there will be more?

I got a survey today about alcohol/beer and got stuck.
It asked me how many times I had bought a certain product and I put the number in and got this-
"Invalid response: You indicated that you purchased "certain product" in the past month. Your response must be less than ."
:confused:

Then I put in 0 and it said-"You must enter a number between 1 and 12."

Not sure what to do, does OTX have an email address for stuff like this?

I am ready to :computer: I haven't been able to get an OTX for days and it took a long time to qualify for this one!

Beware of an OTX on garage organizers. I got all the way to the end and it said click to finish which gave me an error page. So much for my .75 even though they got my data.

Hmm did you try and go back and submit or refresh it again? If it's what I think it is I took that one yesterday and received credit no problem, getting the thank you page afterwords of course.

I did do that several times and every time I clicked the link I got a page not found. Thanks for the suggestion though. I ended up clearing cookies and letting DW do one and she made it all the way through.

That stinks sorry! It was kind of an interesting one too. Glad she was able to get one though.

I just "waited out" the time it took to get a GF survey on communications. After you get passed the page with boxes to checkmark about yourself, it moves faster thru the actual survey. The page before the congrats page froze, but again, I waited the few minutes it took me there.

I just completed one on auto/home insurance. It was pretty simple. It felt good to give my opinion at the end when it asked what XXX company can do to improve and I said don't move their call center out of CA, which they are planning to do. Obviously won't make a difference but I feel better.

after countless attempts and tons of perserverance (spelling?) i finally got my otx for the day. completed the whole thing and got the thank you page. these last 2 days have been really testing my patience with otx and one of these days i just may totally lose it. happy thanksgiving to everybody and happy shopping.:sunshine:

First time in MONTHS trying for an OTX. Doing a movie survey. Decided ot answer them truthfully, and say that I heard ALMOST everything, b/c I didn't hear a quick line about a socializing website. And of course it booted me. GRR. If they are going to be THAT serious, play the clip twice, people, so that feeble ears can catch everything. :rolleyes:

Both me and DW tried and get through the typical opening questions, married, income, cars in home, who's in family, then when we get rejected and try again, all we get is a next button. It is in a loop. When you close out, it won't let you try again until tomorrow. Oh well.:(

Actually I got one on the 2nd try which was really surprising. Usually with OTX I spend 15 mins trying to qualify. I got kicked out of the first one you mentioned (like i do EVERY time I try) and then got one right away on websites and insurance.

Now I can't get a DS to save my life! lol

it didn't credit so i cleared out all my cookies and was just able to take another one. hope this one credits after 5 - we shall see. i guess 2nd times the charm as it just credited.

Something must be up with OTX. I took an OTX around 2:30 pm got the thank you page but never got the credit. It will not let me take another so it seems like it realizes I did one today but no credit. This has not happened to me before with OTX :(

i just had a weird one saying something about doing a survey for 5 nights or something and i agreed and it went straight to the thank you screen... very weird

I got this one too but said no. Maybe that was a mistake, especially since I have not qualified for any other one. Oh well. Hope it credits for you.

This gets more bizzare because today I got credit for 2 DS for yesterday. So it looks like the OTX credited as a DS. But I know for a fact my hubby did and completed the DS and I did and completed the OTX survey!

after typing in all info it goes to your marriage status and then just sort of stop and we get come back later info. Anybody else having trouble today with OTX?

I am glad you posted, I was thinking it was me. I get into that 1st one, the same as always, it slow turning pages, then it goes and goes and mine came up invalid session. I have tried twice I guess I better wait awhile, see if any more posts come in. Not a good way to start the day is it? I will post if something changes for me.
