Well, not a real coupon, but between now and May 8, if you buy a Kindle 3G, you get a $25 Amazon gift card. My mom is getting a Kindle for Mother's day, anyone have any tips on giving a Kindle as a gift?

Wow, sounds like a great deal! I don't know if this helps, but I purchased a Kindle for my DH for his birthday. I just purchased it in my name with my e-mail, and when he got it, it gave him a chance to change everything into his e-mail and such. It was very easy. He turned around and bought me one for Christmas and I did the same. No issues.

Wish I liked to read books! Can you put magazines, like a subscription on one of these things, those I do like read.

Sure you can read magazines on the Kindle. You can also put major newspapers and lots of games. Used it on our last trip to keep me amused on the plane. Go browse in the Kindle store at Amazon to see if there are things there that you'd like.
