Official Scavenger Hunt Thread

I just got an e -mail stating a new "Scavenger Hunt" will be starting.

For all newbies, this thread is not a "Spoiler" thread. Don't give out any answers. Once in awhile Tricia will give out small clues, to help some of us, (like myself) who cannot find the clue, no matter how hard we try.

So, looking forward to having fun. And remember, it's a game, don't spoil it for others.

I almost pulled my hair out on the last scavenger hunt!! I spent about one hour looking for it, all for .10. I thought I was crazy. The reason I couldn't find it was because I had never used that feature before and you had to of signed up to used it to find it. I sure hope its nothing crazy like that again.

If I'm thinking of the right thing (the cake, right?), it was on the Sunshine Savers page. Some people had to add something (I assume those were the people not already signed up for any S. Savers), but since I was already signed up for several, it was just in the middle of my page, when I scrolled down.

All right - so I am confused:confused: . I find the page where it says you found the first clue, go look here - but I can't find what it's talking about! So does this mean I didn't really find the clue and don't have any points yet, or what?!
GUess I'll check it out again - obviously I am a little more dense than others who have figured out it out!

these scavenger hunts always make me feel sooo stupid. i can't figure out anything from the first one. if they're all this hard, i am going to wind up closing my eyes, and letting my finger guess at which one i will stop at.


okay, i found it...it took me a few mins to look at it, i was searching for the clue on the second page that we were directed to, not realizing the clue was actually the first thing i found...sorry, that probably makes sense to those who have found it already. i also got rid of 4.

Didn't go opposite with the clue! What I did is this - with the 1st clue I found 9, decided that Tricia's hint meant that I should eliminate those and keep the other 4. Today only 2 of the cities left fit the clue, so that means 2 left.
I had to go back and do it the other way - keeping the 9, eliminating the 4, to see how you all are getting 6. But I really think it makes more sense to have 2 left than 6.:)

I agree with another poster - I think this was an easier scavenger hunt than some in the past. I remember one hunt that the clues were next to impossible to find. I think everyone can use a pick me up esp. since the weather has not been nice in most of the north and everything going on with surveys. Thanks Tricia for making it easier. Hoping my answer is correct.
