As everyone knows from the other posts, credits are down significantly this month. I thought that you all would be able to make up some of the survey money with the credit contest this week, but hardly anyone is participating. I know the offers are crediting okay because I'm seeing a number of credits come through.

Is there something else that is wrong that is keeping people from participating?

I've done all the offers I can do. I did two last night & neither credited & another I wanted to do has been in my pending since Jan 24th so I'm not quite to the 30 days yet! I don't have time or the energy to fight w/MyThoughtCounts so I'll admit I haven't tried any of those yet! But other than the 2 last night, all the others I've done have credited! It was a nice little bump in my account.

I am just discouraged right now. Still can't do any surveys for Greenfield because I am banned for doing something that I thought was right and find out later was not. Now knowing there is no way I can make supermember since I can't do any surveys just bites the big one. The OTX surveys are the PITS. Half the time you don't get credit for the stuff you sign up for which is a waste of time too and they send you magazines you never ordered or add charges to your phone bill. Sorry, having a bad day today and just had to vent a little.

I did as many as I can (some I had already done) and only one credited. I even played the games on Winster and still no credit. I can't seem to qualify for OTX either. The offers just don't seem to be crediting as well as other credit increase contests. I did do some shopping though!

I've already done most of the offers in the valentine game... and I know from past history that some won't credit for me (GG) so I don't bother with those.

I'm banned from surveys and can't get an OTX or SM survey. I tried all the offers that I hadn't done before and some credited - some didn't. I think it is probably just the time of year. It is just kind of blah right now. I wouldn't worry too much about it - we're still here :hugs:

A lot of them I've already done, e.g. Blockbuster, Zooba, YTB, Enfamil, etc. Basically anthing that was an older offer.

Of the new ones, I've only gotten a couple to credit and the rest are sitting in my pending file.

OTX has been very problematic for me... I got one today that credited but the one I did yesterday didn't. That's happened to me several times, actually.

I know I'd love to do more if I could!

Well, for me personally, I'm pretty much "caught up" on the small offers. So the majority of the increased credit offers are ones I've already completed. And Zooba and Silkies are ones I choose not to do. So I've only done the three new offers....two have credited.

I guess in the past I've been fortunate enough that when I couldn't get a survey I at least could get some offers to credit and vice versa. Unfortunately things are kind of slow for me with both right now.

I did well earlier this week when those four new .75 offers credited for me. Those type of offers are my bread and butter.

We know you try really hard to help us. I don't know what else you can do right now though.

Yeah, it's not for lack of trying!!! We're still here with you Tricia!!! I had already done some of the offers and some others just haven't credited for me this time. I have however been successful on the surveys. I'm using my demographics for the SM and OTX and eventually will use DH for the daily survey. There have been plenty of surveys I have not qualified for but I have managed to get one a day. Even though in the morning it might tell me there are no surveys, if I check back periodically during the day, I've managed to get one- so don't give up all at once!!

The forums do seem a little quiet lately, but I don't think it's from lack of trying on your part Tricia! You've have given us some great promotions and contests!! Hmm.. maybe everyone is off playing Netwinner to earn SR money? LOL

I'm in the same boat. I haven't tried many offers lately because that's what happened the last few times I spent a lot of time doing offers. The OTX survey for today is giving me nothing new to qualify for so far today but I'm not giving up, I wish they would add some new ones though, getting very tired of the shampoo one even though I check off that I've done this? :confused: Doing my part with a bit of shopping! :angel:

Cindy you had asked fif hubby's have done otx. Trent nor I can qualify for a survey. I think there are like 5 total out there. LOL! My mom and dad who are totally different demographics cant even qualify. I on the weekends for some reason. As for offers I have done most of them and the new ones I didn't get credit for 3 of them. Working nights has killed me too. And Trent getting up at 3am kills me also because he can't sleep unless I am around. Odd to say but true. I have tried and tried to push my referrals to do something but so many of them are just sitting there. I have 3 that are sitting right at the 4.90 sector that is just killing me. But out of 94 referrals only 24 have hit 5.00. I would love to see something perk them up actually. Can't say that something will but here's to trying. I shop on here as much as possible to right now, but some of the things we need aren't on here. I wish I could actually help you out on this. Are there more offers coming in now? Is it the whole industry right now? Do you think extending the contest through Sat to post would help? I know there are a few I can't do due to work I would like to try.

I'm trying! Really I am! Most of the offers I've done before, either here or somewhere else. Quite a few of the ones listed have been around for a long, long time. Two of the new ones didn't credit for me. OTX is just not nice to me, but I'm trying. It is such a waste of time to fill out the same exact demographics day after day after day after day only to get closed out every time. I'm banned from GF surveys and no surveys were available for me last I checked for the SM surveys.

I think many of us are in the same boat. Hopefully things will turn around soon!

I'm also having problems with offers not crediting. I've tried 6 offers from the contest and only 1 has credited so far. The last couple of times I completed a SM survey they didn't credit either. OTX has been a problem too, I just don't seem to qualify. I've checked for spyware, cleared cookies and clicked to confirm on emails but nothing seems to work. I can't wait to be off the daily survey naughty list!

edited to add: I just tried to take a Daily Survey and I'm still going straight to the no surveys page. I just tried OTX again too. After trying for 2 surveys I got the dreaded "you did not meet the criteria to take a survey today page". Bummer.

I haven't tried, but before I do, what is the final word on these? Is it going to be one per household/ip address a day? DH usually does one on another site. If he does, can I still do one here? Or, is it one or the other? Also, if it is only one per household per day regardless of the site it is through, is it ok to try different family members to qualify? Or is it one person only? Need to figure out a plan before trying. Thanks!

Each person can only use ONE email address no matter how many different ways they get to these Greenfield surveys (sometimes they are called Opinion Surveys or YourTwoCents in other places). You may take one survey a day and you can be the only person who uses that email address. I don't care if you use your SR email address or not, and I don't care if you use one of the addresses you have used before. Just pick one REAL email address and use it. As far as spouses on other sites, I have no idea. You will need to have them check with those other sites to see what their rules are. They could be totally different than ours.

Hopefully once this Greenfield mess is settled, everyone will see that we are still getting a good number of credits on some easy offers and have added almost 10 freebie offers just in the last week. That's really pretty good!

I know there are a lot of people on SR that are not on the forum. And the forum helps me make the most money I think. Tricia, is there a way you can send an email with the click through earn .10 when you sign up for the forum link to all those people who aren't so that they can try to become a member. I know that is how I did it the first time.

Just trying to clarify.... does the email that we use on the daily survey and the SM have to be the SAME? Or can we use one e-mail (consistently) for Daily survey and a different e-mail (consistently) for the SM survey? I was planning to have DH take the daily one and I am taking the SM. But wanted clarification on the e-mail(s). When we were banned, it already had our last e-mail address listed on the survey and says "if you are not xxx click here"- hopefully it's ok for us to change that if needed to get back on the right track!

I'm been having my husband do the SM surveys exclusively and I just now tried to do a daily survey and my husbands email address was already in there?? I changed it to mine and then it said there were "no surveys"....so, it is recognizing my husbands email but won't let me use mine. I know. LOL! I'm just so confused myself now about what is right and what is wrong. People are going to try to do them on multiple rewards sites, and I think people are getting different stories from different sites. We've tried more than any to follow the rules and got burned by it. So I'm kind of over the whole thing. I just want you all to have the best chance at making some money again. Of course, as long as that includes being HONEST in the surveys that you are taking.

Well, I have tried!! I got the new ones earlier this week, and I got 4 of the offers put up on Tues, and an OTX yesterday. But the others I have done, like the MID and the not generous genie have simply not come thru, as well as the mega promotions one and winster.:confused: :( Some others on the list I have already done, I know that Brandarama does not ever credit for me, and the Silkies and Zooba I don't want to do. I hardly need sculpt shortz when I am pregnant and going to look like a small whale anyway!! :rotfl:

I had 3 of the ones for this contest not credit. I did get an OTX yesterday but not today. I also have a couple on the list that are short of the 30 day mark. Like if I did it today, it would be doing it 28 days after I tried the first time. I did not want to push my luck on that 30 day mark.

I do try the SM surveys 5 or 6 times a day, but I keep getting the same surveys. I'm doing a lot of backing out. I haven't gotten a new survey from them in at least 5 days. As far as the OTX surveys, I also try them multiple times (and yes, I clear cookies prior to any attempt to do them or SM surveys). A couple of days ago I got a pet food survey, but nothing since. I didn't realize I could have my DH take OTX surveys, also. Can we both try? If he gets the same pet food survey, can he do it with his info? I just don't want to get banned again, so I'm running shy.......:(

Well, for me, I have done some of the ones that I haven't done and they didn't credit. I didn't do zooba and blockbuster because I really can't spend any more money until next month. The rest are older and I have completed them.

As for OTX, I can't qualify to save my life, SM surveys lately can't qualify either.

I have also been taking advantage of some of the warmer weather, yardwork and building some chairs for my deck and porch (I'll have to post pics when I am done).

I am still with SR and will be until I can't type or click away :sunshine: . I just love the opportunities.

No, I'm sorry! I mean if I take both surveys, which is my plan, I need to use the same e-mail addy for them. My DH would never agree to try for a survey everyday. He is just a pinch-hitter. Luckily, my dh will do the surveys (OTX & SM). He's not happy about my nagging (we work together too so he hears it all day if he's not done the survey) but it's contributing to our credits so he's not bitten my head off yet. Since our youngest daughter has gotten sick and we have so many medical bills, we were thinking of not going on our Disney trip this summer. He now feels like it's his mission to do the surveys and I have the mission to do the other offers. Hopefully, we'll have enough gift cards to make a big contribution to the trip and if not, we'll save for next year.

He can't get into the GF ones. I told him not to change the email address that it shows when you try to log in so he hasn't. Wish we knew if that would be a problem or not. Anyway, I've tried the other offers listed. Most, I already have received credit for. A couple I've gotten credit for and the other ones are still sitting in pending.

Oh, Tricia, I'm sorry! I've done some of the offers, but only one has credited. I did try for an OTX several times on yesterday, but to no avail. But I have done a little shopping with plans to do more, but nothing has posted yet, not even the books I've bought for DD for school and that was a couple of weeks ago. Like a lot of the people who have been around a while...many of the offers in the contest I have done already. I've had 2 credit and 2 not credit. Some never credit for me so I don't do those, the rest I have done.

The SM and My thoughts surveys are another story. I did fine the first 2 days....forget yesterday and today. I can't qualify to save my life.

To be honest, I just don't have the time to sit here and try for them. Add in Netwinner, Winster, and the Arcade Games and the time is flying by.

Regarding surveys, I don't have diabetes, don't have over 500K in investsble assets, no back pain, I don't suffer from Schizophrenia and about the the contraceptives question??? None of your darn business. :computer:

Good God......how the heck to they expect people to do surveys with requirements like that??? Until GF adds new surveys with a broader base, I think many of us will remain unable to qualify.

I'm very frustrated with the surveys right now!! I've been doing a little shopping.....and trying to do some offers. Things are busy here and I haven't been able to be on the forums as much.

Sorry Tricia. I know this isn't what you want to hear. I think it's slow for GF and their advertisers too. The picking are slim with the surveys. :( Just the time of year when everything is slow.

When I started Sunshine over a year ago I joined a bunch of reward sites. YOURS is the only one I do now (had to choose afte rthe BIG crack down months ago). I do one other for paid emails and that is it. So even though I haved slowed down I am still very loyal to you. I believe your site is far superior to any of the others. Not the case here! You've been wonderful, I've done all the new offers I could (except silkies) and have gotten credit for most if not almost all of them, but I did have quite a few that I had already done in the past.

I'm plugging along trying to get my OTX and SM survey's each day.

FYI I tried my email addy for the DS and still got the error. Does it have to be a brand new one? Or can it be one of the banned ones just ONLY one?

Exactly...and if my DH CAN take OTX surveys, as well as me (as long as there is only one done a day), can he take a survey that I've done already since he is answering from his perspective? I felt guilty for being one of the perpetrators to get a lot of us banned, so I just want to get things straight before having it happen again on another survey site (OTX).

I was very lucky to get a SM survey I qualified for on online travel sites, however 25 minutes into it the survey froze and there wasn't anything I could do to go on. Now, of course, it no longer offers me that survey. So I guess you can say I'm quite frustrated with surveys right now.

However, I am not a fairweather friend to SR. In thick or thin I'm here and trying. When things get tough, you just have to try harder. It's not Tricia's fault that things are this way, and I can't even blame all of us "dishonest" people. It just is the way it is.

Remember the old saying, "when the going gets tough, the tough get going." I think that's what we all need to do right now.

Sorry about any negativity - I try not to let whatever blues I might have show thru in my posts.
But I think too that sunshine/clouds/rain are all a part of life - and if people are having some struggles it's nice that this is a place where they can express themselves and get a little help, maybe feel more 'sunshiny' because of it. Or at least feel like they see a rainbow thru the rain, so to speak!
I still like to visit the forums - for the most part, I still find it a happy/hopeful place, a comfortable place.

I am really trying to do the Valentine contest but with limited success. Still banned from the GF surveys, having a hard time getting OTX to credit even after I complete them.

But I am not planning on leaving SR. I did join several when I first discovered these type of sites. Now I am down to just a few but don't do the same things on both. One of the other one I use for some of my shopping and just the daily clicks and e-mails. The other two I just do the e-mails and as soon as I have enough to cash out of them I will quit those also.

I just wanted to add that this is a hard time of year for a lot of people. Christmas bills are in, vacations are coming, people are trying to save and their taxes are due.

I am just discouraged right now. Still can't do any surveys for Greenfield because I am banned for doing something that I thought was right and find out later was not. Now knowing there is no way I can make supermember since I can't do any surveys just bites the big one. The OTX surveys are the PITS. Half the time you don't get credit for the stuff you sign up for which is a waste of time too and they send you magazines you never ordered or add charges to your phone bill. Sorry, having a bad day today and just had to vent a little.

Same here. I am trying all of the offers, and I think 2 have actually credited. I have cleared my cookies also. It's the surveys that are really bringing down my mood. I think of all of the lost money in the past week or so. It is very discouraging.:(

Why in heavens would I STOP coming here? I tell all the people that I come in contact with online about this place for one reason, and it isn't the rewards(OK it's partly the rewards). If you can't get the S&G offer to credit, the problem is definately with your computer, your firewall, your settings, something. This is an easy credit.

As for all the negativity, venting is one thing, but to constantly be whining and complaining is another, and thats all I seem to be reading anymore. I work here and I don't want to get on the boards. This is FREE money, and yes, it takes a little work on everyones part, but we can't control your computers and if we see an offer crediting well, we know it has to be something with your own computers, but to keep complaining about it makes others not want to even try it, so please, keep it a little tamer, don't ruin it for other people. Believe me, we know if an offer is not crediting, and we pull it. We generally test drive every offer before puttingit out there. I don't clear cookies, I don't change email addys, I run AVG daily, I'm on a wireless internet with no firewall and I use IE, so maybe that will help some of you. I can tell you it sometimes seems to go in spurts where everything credits in minutes and other ones don't. And remember, some of you that do other sites, that could be a big factor in the credits you see here, because even though you don't recognize the offer, they come from the same companies and chances are you won't get credit twice.

Ok, now I'm done complaining. Ladies.....lets have some fun, make some money and enjoy that we are all well enough to sit at our computers and take on another day then finish up the evening with our families...and throw in a Mickey trip or two.

Tricia - I would never leave SR. I do one other rewards site and I just click on the emails (and I haven't done that in about two weeks!) I did most of my sunshining last month and made SM. I'm trying to do the Lucky 14 offers - 3 have credited for me 3 have not. I think Cindy is right - it does go in spurts. Some days I can't do anything wrong and everything credits, other days nothing works right!! I'm extremely frustrated with surveys and I know I'm not the only one.

Also, there's this little thing I'm going through - moving across the country from Detroit to Los Angeles!!! I'll be back after the move - that's why I made SM last month - I knew I would probably be gone from mid-Feb to mid March!!

I love SR and I love the free money!! I think it's the weather and lack of surveys and some offers not crediting!! It's gray here again!! :hugs:

As everyone knows from the other posts, credits are down significantly this month. I thought that you all would be able to make up some of the survey money with the credit contest this week, but hardly anyone is participating. I know the offers are crediting okay because I'm seeing a number of credits come through.

Is there something else that is wrong that is keeping people from participating?

I rarely do offers anymore, b/c I can't stand the phone call increase caused by entering my number. I barely deal with phone calls from friends, let alone solicitors, so I just can't bring myself to do it. I liked being able to check phone messages online, but that's not allowed by them or the company that allowed that, so I just can't bring myself to do it.

However, I did just join Zooba, so hopefully (when I went back to SR I had been logged out, so I'm concerned that it won't credit) I'll have one entry into the contest.

Oh, I did try the photo contest, but it turns out I had entered that before so my entry was just a renewing of my old account, not a new entry (though I did search my gmail for any emails from them before joining, to see if I had joined before). No credit.

Has anyone tried the daily surveys today? I've heard that the ban has been lifted, but I haven't been able to confirm it yet.

When we go back to check on this, do we use an email they have already seen, one of those that are on their list? Or do we use a new/other email that they haven't seen?

It seems like using an old one will just make them ban me again, but then making up a new email address (they saw the others we have!) seems worse.

I'd love to have DH go in and take some surveys, but I don't want to mess us up by having him use an email address that will mess it up again.


And OTX isn't working for us. DH keeps getting a loop asking him what beverages he drinks, and no matter how many times he answers in the exact same way, he'll get it again and again and again, until they thank him but nothing is available today.

I know that I am here to stay- I'll weather out the ups and downs b/c I love SR. I love the community here and that Tricia and her gang are visible and accessible. But as Cindy said, we all have to keep it in perspective that it's FREE money and SR can't control every aspect of the crediting (our computers, offers we already did, etc).

Just saw this- I came down with strep throat last night, so that's one reason my SRing has been puny. This is the first time I've been at the computer.

I did try just about all the 'free' offers for the 14 contests- I think only 2 or 3 credited. I just don't know if I'm in everyone's systems now, or what. It stinks. I am trying!!!! I will try to see if I can get in a Greenfield survey.

With my personality, whining and complaining are part and parcel, and mean nothing overall bad. I'd rather have it out, then let it fester inside! But I know that you don't like it, so I keep my mouth shut 'round here in general (until asked a specific question, or when I want to ask a question), but I'm sure you can "see" me lurking around. So I'm sure you know I'm still around. I actually quit one of those other sites a few months ago, b/c things added up too slowly when I was reserving the good stuff for you. :) So that leaves you and another site, and I only click there; I don't even TRY to qualify for surveys there for fear of messing things up here, and as soon as you get a certain Seattle based outdoor store under your wing, all my shopping will be through you.

Yup. Right now I"m on game 52 of money wheel, listening to the ads/news and for the dingy-dings. Just when I think I can't get surveys, today I hit the jackpot! After several aborted attempts, I finally got the SM survey on a new beverage at a fast food restaurant. Feeling trumped up, I decided to take Cindy's suggestion and have my DH take an OTX survey, as I haven't been able to qualify for anything. I put in his info, and he got one on racing.......exactly his thing. He was sitting next to me while I typed in his answers, but he was so excited about the survey, he ended up jumping up and hanging over my shoulder, trying to decide the best choice for each question. Thanks, Cindy, for the suggestion. Didn't think I'd nail him down long enough to do one today, but it is Valentines day!:love:

I got an oldie brandarama the other day so there is hope. I think they might be one of those offers that only give incentives for XX amount each month then cut off until the next.

Have you tried the always allow session cookies with GG? I've had luck lately with the modpath offers which are similar to GG.

I'm trying my hardest to do OTX survey's. I thought I almost had one today and it did the old, 'how old are you in the end". I stupidly put my age as of today, not how old I'll be this year. I got the dishonest message.

I tried the last 3 days to do OTX's, and nothing. You know I am persistant, since I got the big bonus for doing all survey's in Dec. & Jan. I'm still locked out of the Daily Survey.

I'm doing your fast credits and I've received only 1. I decided not to do Blockbuster, sorry. As for the others, I've tried, and I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I just seem to end up with a lot of Spam in my e-mail.

I click on the e-mails that may need confirmation, but I am getting tired of all the other SPAM. I actually opened up a yahoo account about 4 months ago. I never used it for anything except Sunshine. That account gets over 100 SPAM e-mails a day. After the Survey thing, I went back to using my private e-mail and now it is being bombarded with SPAM.

Have you tried the always allow session cookies with GG? I've had luck lately with the modpath offers which are similar to GG.

I had tried it at least two times before with no luck (prior to the 30 day rule). Today I lowered my cookies way down as it was a modpath, and it credited on the hour!:cooldance:

I don't post a lot (see count above.) But I wanted to send out a big thank you to the Sunshine Family.

I really appreciate any increased credits and have been playing along with the 14 contest.

I, too ,am am banned from daily surveys. :headache: But it doesn't really matter as I only got 2 in December and 1 in January. This was a decrease from 20+ in October and November. I just don't qualify (neither did DD or BF in my illegal begging of them to do surveys for me!) The OTX surveys never accept me and are too frustrating. I have not been able to qualify for SM survey either.

Things are slower, the rules are stricter. We can no longer re-do an offer until a month has passed. I used to re-do a quick crediting offer in a couple of days. Now, the offer might be gone before can you do it.

I don't do offers that require credit cards. I shop infrequently - saving money for my Disney fix. I know I won't make Super Member again.

However, as Cindy said - it is free money. And, I can sit in my PJs for a couple of hours and happily click my way to a Disney gift card.

I'm in the same situation as alot...many of the contest offers I had already done. I did try all the new offers. But, I've had to do them on dd's laptop, which is always problematic as far as credits go (my video card bit the dust so I have to wait for tomorrow to get the new one).

I did try to do the regular daily survey w/ my new email that I have been getting the SM to credit, but I'm not allowed in. I do get in ok on the SM (but haven't qualified), so will try again tonight after I see if OTX credits so I can clear cookies.

I'm trying!!! Never could figure out why the laptop is so problematic, all I can figure is it is on McAfee/Vista, and mine is on AVG/XP. Some things do credit though, just not as many, so I know it is my problem, not the offer.

I wish I could do the paid offers (really want Zooba!), but I'm in the "big save of 2008", new fridge, redo bath, new kitchen floor. I feel like a Dave Ramsey mantra, beans and rice, rice and beans LOL.

Maybe there is less activity because we're not near the end of the quarter and folks aren't straining to make SM? Maybe there were lots of SRers who just don't do offers - just daily surveys - and that has dried up for them? Maybe it's post Christmas bills that are preventing people from shopping? There's a recession and that affects everything - like people have to take on more hours at work or make other changes that affect their computer time. Could be lots of things that lead to a slow time.

It takes a lot of time and effort to get that "free" money. :) Maybe that has something to do with it - so many folks have been experiencing troubles getting things to credit that maybe it no longer seems like "free" money, it seems more like working and not getting paid.

But, even if we go to our "break room" (or forum as the case may be) and bellyache about the lousy day we're having with getting paid, I don't think I've ever seen a post that says SR is awful or unfair or has terrible customer service. That's just not the case - which is why I think most people will stay here and not go to other sites. Keep doing what you do - because you do it well.

I think this is true also! There's been complaining going on yes, but never any flaming. People aren't really trying to be negative about SR at all, just bemoaning the fact that they have put in the time, and don't have anything to show for it. Sure, we know it's free money - but it is still our time we use to try to get it, and it feels like time not so well-spent, then.
I know I have droughts with credits - and then I get a lot. So I am learning to just try to take in stride - even if it is disappointing to see things not come thru when I've spent the afternoon working on it!
Even tho I might fuss about missing out on credits, I'm not fussing about SR! It is a great place, a sunshine place.

I've tried all of the offers from the contest that I hadn't done previously or didn't involve me purchasing something and I've only had one OTX credit. It hasn't been for lack of trying on my end. I need all the credits I can get and am trying SO hard ... :(

ETA: After going back to read through more of the thread (I just now found it) I have no intentions of leaving SR, it has never crossed my mind. I am trying to spend more time looking for a new job right now and trying to cut back on my "leisure" internet time all around. Yes, sometimes the $ takes more work than other times, but everything is cyclical and if there's a down swing right now, it'll always come back up. Tricia, you've been very honest that Jan/Feb is slower than other months. It can be frustrating, but in time everything always evens back out. Whatever I'm able to earn on here will take a significant amount out of the next Disney trip - whether that's Dec 08 or Fall of 10, anything I can scrape together here is a welcome bonus and blessing

I tried my best and so hard last night for 2 hours which was all the time I had once I got home from work. I could not qualify for an OTX survey, actually not for the past week, no SM survey either. I tried several times with the same email and demographics. I got part way into 2 of them and then for some reason they both just froze. Has never happened before. I did 2 offers and didn't get credit for either.

I really love SR and everything that all of you do for us. I will never give up and hope that things pick up for everyone soon. I'm going to go and try a regular survey now. I did try last night but it would not let me in.

I am another who is trying but just not having a ton of luck. I have done 4 of the offers but only 1 credited even after clicking on the conf emails. I am still allowed to do the surveys but twice in the last two days I get 2/3 through the survey and then it says its over and doesn't take me back or the video won't work and they tell me I don't qualify. SO I am trying just not having the best of luck.

I think I haven't been here as much is because of the blues. Winter blues, after Disney blues from our Dec trip, recession blues so I've no money to shop...
My boys have been off school due to ice/snow since monday so I missed out on the mythoughts from yesterday.
It's not lack of trying in the contest. The first 4 I did only 1 credited. I cleared cookies and used firefox for 2 and ie for 2.
I was able to get on tonight after missing yesterday and get 3 of 5 to credit.
I'm hoping to get another mythought tomorrow.
Many of the others I had already done. I'm shocked that I have 2 MID offers in pending, they are usually great creditors for me.
Don't worry, we b**** (complain) and moan here, but that's because everyone here can understand where we're coming from. Trying to explain to my husband and his eyes just glaze over.

Things are so much busy for me this year in general since I went back to work full time. I don't have the time to spend doing offers anymore that may or may not credit. Next week I will be around on and off because it is vacation, but honestly, lately I pop in quick in the am for the scratch off, and maybe a post, then if I have timeI'll pop in again later in the day to seee if anything is going on that's new. I just haven't had the time lately to be active...sorry Tricia.

I cant qualify for the otx surveys, never have been able to. And I cant even get the greedfield one to open. Im doint awesome in the contest because Im just back to the site. I had to get a job last year and didnt have the time to do SR anymore. But when I quit a few weeks ago I came straight back. So all the old one I hadnt done and all the new ones have came in for me pretty much. Theres no way Im leaving and even though Im not a very big earner, I try my best to help anyway I can. I don't think Tricia/SR is worried about the regulars around here leaving the site. I think she's worried that our venting/negativeness around here is turning off new people from joining the forum and participating in the site.

I agree its nice to come and vent in here because we all understand the frustrations with offers not crediting (or crediting right away) but sometimes the feeling/tone gets really negative and it turns people off including me from posting new threads or even responding to other people's posts. I don't think we should stop venting but maybe cap it off some and try to focus on the positives.

I backed off for a while because I had done most of the free offers and I got a bit discouraged when I had such a hard time getting things to credit. I just went through the entire offer list (the little pulldown list) and made a list of all the offers I can still do. I don't know if there is anything internal you can check, but it does seem like lately many of us are having a hard time getting credit. I never had the problem before that I do now and I haven't changed the way I do anything. None the less, I would never think of leaving SR. Quite the contray I have pushing everyone I know to sign up to get those referrals and I made a one page 'how to' sheet to send to my referrals!!

I don't clear cookies, I don't change email addys, I run AVG daily, I'm on a wireless internet with no firewall and I use IE, so maybe that will help some of you.

Cindy, you don't clear cookies? Maybe the ones having crediting issues are clearing them too much. I clear mine and reboot every morning before I sign in and sometimes midday before I do another offer. I did shut off my firewall and had better luck during the Love 14 contest, so maybe that helped!

I know it's frustrating :computer: when things don't credit but it's all worth it when you can pull out those wonderful disney gcs and pay for almost all of your expenses when at Disney!!

Long time lurker here, very infrequent poster just like I am at another message board I belong too. I'm more of a reader than a poster both here and there. And, I've been doing RPs (reward programs) for a long time, at least 5 years now.

I wanted to mention all of that so that nobody gets the impression I am just someone coming in to cause trouble, far from it. I had actually started reading this thread a day or so ago and wanted to really think through an honest reply as to why I felt my earnings were low.

So, having said that:

I know that my earnings will always be lower than other members, no matter the site, because I rarely shop online. We just don't buy a lot of things and when we do buy I wait for a sale or better yet, clearance.

As for the offers, I've gotten in the habit of doing them only when there are increased payouts and / or special Disney cashouts. I've gotten into that habit because the ones I seem to always select span multiple pages. There've been a few that I don't know if I ever actually ever made it to the end. Added to that is that very few ever credit for me. When you marry together the amount of time it takes with the credits I actually receive, it gets frustrating for me. Then there is still the matter of spam and daily phone solicitations. So, I choose to wait for specials and make the most of my time.

I'm also very disheartened over the surveys. I know that I did not intentionally set out to malicioulsy cheat, lie or steal from Greenfield. If I were a thief, and I am not a thief, my stealing what amounts to change on a daily basis would be a waste of time.

I do know that I rarely qualified for surveys, Greenfield or MyThoughts. I also know that I did use 2 email addresses - 1 for SR email and 1 for surveys, both real. I also sometimes let DH try to qualify for surveys, he is of different heritage. Both of which is nothing that other members didn't also do. I could see if only a small number of members were doing that. Then yes, maybe it was being less than honest. But with so many of us having done the same, we must have all gotten the idea from somewhere that it was allowed.

But even at that, DH rarely qualified. It's especially frustrating when you span multiple pages and spend a few minutes answering questions only to get "Sorry, you do not qualify. Try again." With all of that, I am choosing to not do surveys at this time.

Having said all that, keep in mind that these are my choices and opinions based on my experiences. I am not in any way implying anything negative towards SR, far from it.

I have not ever once had a problem with a cashout, never. As a matter of fact, they've always come much faster than I expected they would. I love seeing the SR envelopes and knowing that my Disney gift card has arrived. All of which says that when you cash out, you do not have to wonder about your reward. You will get it and you will get it very quickly.

Overall, this is a nice place with nice people. Sure there've been a few bumps of recent, not the fault of SR, but I'm sure they'll work themselves out given time.

So in addition to a couple of much needed vacation days with SunshineGuy, Cindy and I will then have an opportunity to bring back some exciting new things from the Summit (which we ALWAYS do). Summit is always good for not only helping us get news deals and connections but also getting my creative juices flowing on the site.

So onwards and upwards!!! There is much Sunshine left and I look forward to sharing it with all of you. :sunshine:

Hmmm...are they not even clicking the link? Or are they clicking but not checking it out? Could you do maybe some sort of contest that would make the newbies actually have to poke around the forums a little? I'm not very creative, but maybe some sort of trivia quiz where the answers are in the forum somewhere? Or some hidden links or icons worth a penny or two? Maybe they just need a small incentive to poke around a little bit, rather than just an incentive to get here, so they can see what a great forum this is?

As far as anyone leaving Sunshine - I left all the other sites I was doing to come to Sunshine. It is definately tons of steps above any others. After finally getting some things to credit (2 in the contest), I thought that I finally had the vista cookies thing figured out (finally downloaded CCleaner and it helped!).

I know I had slowed things down even before the survey thing started. I just couldn't seem to get motivated after Christmas. Plus I had a terrible cold for 3 weeks. I am kicking myself now for not working harder in Jan. because I may not make SM status this time. Completely my fault.

As for rewards sites, this is the second one I joined. After the other one abruptly shut down I chose SR because so many people on the Dis talked about it. The customer service has been great here. I have never had any issues getting my cashouts and I get credit for most things I do. I like the variety of rewards options because we don't have a Disney trip in the planning, but there is plenty of stuff for me to chose from.

As for the venting I think a lot of it is because it is on the forum and not in a regular conversation format. If we were all in a room together and could talk about the surveys for example we could be done in an hour. Since everyone is on at different times and you see something that someone wrote yesterday you want to respond to it today. It drags the process out.

I love SR and the forum. I don't post much but I read it all day.:blush: When I got my referrals I told them that I completely trust this site and couldn't say that about any of the other rewards programs out there.:sunshine:

I have a whole bunch of offers that have not credited for me. I did all the Valentine ones that I didnot have. One inparticular offer had never credited before but it did this time so I would suggest to everyone try them all you might get lucky. I cannot get into the daily survey I guess I am still baned and the OTX survey I seem to get about every 2 days. But I still keep trying. I still love SR and everyone here
