Good Morning Everyone! I have more iTunes gift cards to give away. Since I am fairly new to Sunshine Rewards Tricia came up with a great idea for me to get to know a little more about SR and all of you.

Please post your most favorite Sunshine Rewards memory! This will be another randomly selected winner and the contest goes from now until midnight Sunday.

In the very beginning of SR, we used to have Disney Gift Card cash outs where Tricia gave us discounts on the cards...I remember crashing the site as everyone scrambled to cash out at the same time....those were the fun days for me. Loved those discounted Disney Gift Cards!! :D

My favorite Sunshine Rewards memory was when we all celebrated Tricia's birthday with a contest (mod-hosted) in 2008.

My favorite one would have to be what led me to come to SR. I saw a post by Tricia on the *other board* asking people to check out her new site. Apparently I sensed a good thing even back then as I was the first person to sign up for SR (after the test accounts). :D I love being member #10!

Loved the discounted Disney Gift Cards as well- kept us all glued to our computers as we crashed the site!!:p

My favorite memory was hitting my 45 day member mark and I was able to cash out for $150 in Disney Gift Cards. I never thought I would be able to make this much extra money for my trip by doing something so simple.

My favorite memory was when I got my first $100.00 e-card. I called Disney Reservation Center and applied it to my vacation. First, as a skeptical person, it was so exciting that SR is a credible site and actually pays their members as promised. Second, it was exciting that I actually earned this money taking the surveys. Thanks for this rewarding opportunity, Tricia and SR!:thanks:

Hehehe........my favorite was a thread a couple of years ago about a "rubber ducky." I won't go into details, but those who have been around for a while know exactly what I'm talking about.:D

I also miss our online chat nights. Honestly, I could never keep up with the conversation. Just couldn't type fast enough. Perhaps it was the wine?:blush:

I would have to say that my favorite SR memory would be when Tricia ran a contest about promoting SR through a video. My son dressed up as Santa and did a video for me and we won the contest. Winning was awesome but even if we hadn't won it was something fun we did together. We had the best time making that video and we still go back and watch it on you tube.

My favorite memory was when I joined the SR forum. My monthly earnings went from a whopping $1.87 to $15.01 to $48.42 .... I haven't looked back since!

I beamed with pride when I handed my DH my PayPal debit card and told him it was loaded with the $750 I'd earned over the previous year. We used it to pay for over half of our vacation to Hilton Head Island!

Now, in the last 4 months, I've earned enough to pay for my WDW AP and my TiW card....and I still have almost 3 months until my trip to earn more!!!

i loved the discounted disney gift cards we used to get i would watch the computer like a hawk even while at work as i didnt want to miss anything! i also liked the scavenger hunt a few years ago it was great fun!:party:

I loved the discounted Disney gift cards. I remember trying so hard to earn enough to cash out for a discounted $200 Disney gift card!

I also remember cashing out for my first $500 Disney gift card - I was proud of my patience and perseverance, and so thankful for the opportunity!

I also love reading threads where members have surprised Tricia with birthday gifts and other things - it always makes me smile when she realizes how much we all love her! :sunshine: And I love reading all the positive posts about SR on the DIS!

My favorite SR memory so far is when I cashed out for $100 for the first time last fall. That was really big because before then I had only cashed out for $25 about once a year. It's important to me because it marked a new phase in my life post-graduation, as well as shows how many opportunities for earning Tricia has added to the site since I first became a member. You can earn money easier and faster than ever!

It's hard to say just one since I've had sooo many, but I guess I would have to say when Magical JenK sent me some snow! That made my family's day. We were just looking at the pictures the other day. The twins had a blast playing in it. :)

I am a very old member that just came back to the boards today. I used to love sunshine when i was planning my disney trips. I would like to make another trip to disney so i am back to my 2nd "happiest place on earth"

My favorite though was the discounted disney cards. I would save up and save up until i could get one!!!!

I am so glad to be back.

When Jen sent the snow to Lisa was my alltime favorite...I remember when that happened. :)

Also the SR Boston meet up was great fun, as was the RI meet up that ~Kathie hosted.

I also fondly remember sitting at my then desktop computer a couple of summers ago with my frozen drink, enjoying crazy chat nights at SR...the craziest were when we were trying to chat and solve contests at the same time. That was really fun and I miss those times.

The great cashouts and everything are good memories too, but it is the friendship and bonding times I most fondly remember, and what have kept me around.

I remember when we used to chat, drink and play contests at the same time before we had a chat function. We had to keep refreshing so we could read the other posts and the threads would get super long and then the next day we would read the threads and you could see when we were at the bottom of the bottle because our typing got bad and our jokes got funnier. At that time I had three children under 6 and so I didn't have girls nights out but I could always have them on SR and sometimes they were a week night!!! We had a blast and I used to laugh until I would wet myself.

My favorite memory: I was a fairly new member and we were going on our first Disney Cruise. I had earned some money on SR - not a lot but some, I also had a lot of cash saved, I was able to buy a Disney Gift Card from Disney with the money I had saved, I earned SR credits and I earned Disney Reward Points because I paid with my credit card and then I was able to get a discounted Disney Gift Card from SR! I was earning money hand over fist - that's probably why Disney stopped giving credits for gift cards and then why they stopped discounting the gift cards for SR!!! And here I am getting close to earning $5,000!

Once I figured out that SR was legit and a fabulous site, I haven't really stopped earning! :sunshine:

Making Super Member for the first time! I have only ever made it a couple of times, because I don't really have as much time for SR as I used to. Making it to SM really made me see how much you can earn here if you have the time and patience!

My favorite memory is my very first cashout for a Disney gift card. After that it would have to be this past spring when Tricia had a Pittsburgh SR meetup. Unfortunately, there were a few cancellations, but I was very happy that I got to meet her, Keven and the girls.

I have several favorite memories. Jen sending the snow to Lisa, Lisa posting that she was in remission, The SR Boston Meet, The SR Disney Cruise just to name a few.

The most important memory I will always have is the lifelong friends I have made here. We've laughed together, cried together, prayed together and been there for each other.

Never underestimate the power of the SR Mafia.

My favorite memory was winning a gas card in last month's contest. Like everyone else, the cost of gas is taking a big chunk of my monthly budget. The card will sure help out with gas for the commute to work. I love that SR provides great opportunities like this.

I have so many great memories of my time here at SR. :sunshine:

I loved going on the SR Disney cruise and meeting so many SR members! I also have great memories of the member meet up we had in Houston not too long after Cate announced her engagement. Lisa brought a cake and we all brought gifts and had a surprise wedding shower for Cate. That was so much fun.

I'm so happy to be a part of such a wonderful group of people. :love:

I loved the beginning of SR when the forum just started and there were some crazy and funny chats and threads! I would literally be laughing out loud.

And of course the discounted Disney gifts cards that everyone else mentioned were awesome! :)

i have 2 and can't decide which is more meaningful to me!! the 1st time I made SM, as it really showed me that I can make serious money here! or the time i cashed out for $650 in Disney Gift Cards to pay for my Epcot Bridal Portrait Session......without SR there is no way we would have been able to afford it, and it is the best memory of our Vow Renewal.

The best memory continues to be back in '07 when I had enough in giftcards to upgrade our Disneyland tickets to APs. A year's worth of Disneyland, thanks to Sunshine.

I'm certain that it was initially announced that there were TWO $10 gift cards to be given away....

...Kathie and I were chosen as winners...

...I posted a "thank you" message....

...I told my DD that she was getting a gift card for her new shuffle...

...now, that has all disappeared? WTH??? Am I hallucinating?? I'm sure I would not have filled out the TT with my information and posted a "thanks"....what happened???? (not too angry or anything...just very confused:confused::confused:)
