Monthly challenge thread...OCTOBER...here we come!

Didn't see one so I started one. I find the monthly challenge thread keeps me motivated....

Does anyone else find it sad to see your survey totals back at "zero" every month?

Anyway....decent Saturday for me-even though GF had nothing for me:

October 1: SSi, SH and MV 3/85.

Starting low on that total because, work-wise, it looks to be crazy.

Have to get in on the survey challenge. It really keeps me going. Probably going to start with a lower goal than last month as well. Looks like it will be a busy month for me. So...I'll go with 80. Have a goal of getting another 175 in my account by the end of the year, so I can have a nice chunk of money for Disney in January!

So far, I'm 6/80. hoping to get a six pack by the end of the day.

Even though I tried all 9 surveys before leaving for work, none of them had anything for me. But...I did better when I got home-got four in about an hour and fifteen minutes-so that's a plus:)

October 4: GF, SSi, MV & AMP. Two days in a row getting an AMP-that hasn't happened in a long time. 16/85.

I'm very pleased. Got 5 on a Saturday:). Not sure that's ever happened before. So, another entry into the contest and a nice bump in the number of surveys done. 34/85.

It went well, thanks for asking!!! I made it with my personal best time. Didn't run the entire thing, but made it most of the way. I was happy with it! Although I haven't gotten a single survey today. ;(

Welcome back Kristen! How were the crowds? And F & W:)

The crowds were quite bearable. I was pleasantly surprised since the resorts were booked solid for the entire month. We never waited more than 20 minutes for a ride. We used quite a few fastpasses and I even rode Toy Story Midway Mania for the first time! We got a lot done over 4 days and we are looking forward to the big family trip in June.

F&W was OK. I had a bit of a stomach bug on the two days that we visited Epcot. Nothing major, but everytime I'd eat, I'd immediately bloat up and developed upper abdominal pains which would last for about a half-hour. I have never experienced that before and the only thing I could think of was that it was caused by a combination of fatigue, alcohol (I don't drink too often) and eating too fast. As a result, I didn't really have a desire to try out too many of the food booths. The lines were a little lengthy too so I wasn't willing to stand in the heat either. The food items that I did try were delicious...the ravioli in Italy...the margaritas in Mexico...and of course, the Grey Goose slushies! DSiL absolutely loved the sushi in Japan...and the Grey Goose slushies! (Guess where we spent a lot of time:banana:....)

Don't think I will be making my goal this month! I'm at 56/80. It's been a crazy month. But...I'll atleast try to get as close to it as I can. However, I haven't even been able to get a GF the last week or so. Hope everyone else is having good luck.
