We got word earlier this week that we won a Kindle from 4Inkjets so I decided to add it to our prize stash for our holiday contest. :) We'll be announcing our full holiday promotion in a couple of weeks but I figured that I would give a little teaser. :)

LOL, I'm just hoping the contest starts right around Nov. 10, as I will be free to shop away then with the new credit card billing period! This month's bill is a nightmare and I really need a new pair of shoes and am getting those as soon as the billing period ends.

Great prize.

I need help with obtaining books. I am such a fan of my library-I used to live across the street and still managed to wrack up library fines for not returning my books, but I really don't enjoy paying for books. I know it is such a small amount, but the $7-$11 really does add up.

I know awhile ago, there was a program that you could sign up and get a certain amount of books for a fee.

What other ways, does anyone use to obtain books.

Pixel of Ink has daily specials that are low cost or free. Amazon has some for free. Most of the books I purchased for around 99 cents. Some of the cheap ones I didn't like but was only out a $.

My local library group just got Kindle books in the past 30 days. Not a ton of recent releases but I do have one that I "borrowed" right now and am on the waiting list for a few more. I hate having to go to the library too, and it's only a mile from my house.

Yes my library has books for the Kindle too - you can check them out for 21 days and when they are due back the library just takes them off your kindle! So far I love it.

Three more prizes added to the list today. I'm hoping that we will be at more than $1000 by Friday! <fingers crossed>
