I have had so much difficulty qualifying for surveys of late. The ones today were all about insurance and I have little to no input so I dq'd right away and then there were no others for me to even try for. This has happened more than a few times lately, which has prompted me to not try so hard anymore....:( Have I just reached that age (46) that I am not an opinion they are interested in? :(

No, you are DEFINITELY not too old. Some of us have years on you. I think surveys wax and wane. Sometimes I can bang out a whole bunch in one day, and other days, I can't qualify to save my life. I don't have time to repeatedly try all day long, so it is what it is. Don't get discouraged. Next thing you know, new surveys will be loaded that you DO qualify for. Good luck! :sunshine:

Hey Mom...we're the same age:).

Gotta admit there are days that I think "gee, guess noone wants to talk to me" but then there are days I do ok. Never as well as some, but good for me.

So, I just keep plugging away. And, try to rein in my expectations depending on the day of the week, time of the month, etc.

I'm older than all of you!! :rotfl: I get two or three surveys most days but lately they are far and few between, so I don't think it's age related I just think there are not too many surveys available, either that or the ones that keep getting 6+ surveys every day are taking them all??? ;)

I know age is probably the most important demo, but other ones (IMO) have a significant effect on whether we get into a particular survey:

Age of your children
income
where you live. I had quite a few days recently where it seemed like I got booted out of numerous surveys as soon as I entered my state.

I seem to be having the same problem. Since I turned 65 I seem to get less surveys I will keep trying no matter what . My kids are grown and married so those surveys are out

I'm to the point that I consider two surveys to be a banner day. Not only am I white, 55 and from a heavily populated state, but my husband works for the media. I soon will no longer be able to say I have a child under 18.

I can tell you from the number on my end that overall this month MyView is MUCH better than last month, as is Survey Head. SSI seems to be a little harder, as does Greenfield for some reason. In general we have a lot of people getting credits but a lot fewer people even trying.

I'm 46 as well. I think this month hasn't been great. I try for 2 a day and if I have time I'll keep going. I think they often fill the classifications for certain criteria (perhaps our age group) so we don't qualify.

I've had a lot for my kids: ask your child to join you now...the rest of the survey is for them.......I drag them to the computer (away from their electronics) only to have them be told they don't qualify after they answer the first question.

that has happened here too, too many times, so I usually say yes, do the first couple questions (they are usually just asking who they are, how old they are blah, blah and when I see the actual survey is starting, I get my kids!
Well now I am feeling in much better company-not that that is a good thing! :D I only have so much free time in my day now, since I homeschool and have a lot of other responsibilities to take care of besides. If I try for 20 minutes to qualify and then finally get a survey that says it will be 45 minutes, I usually have to log off-I only have so much time in little chunks to devote so when I use it all up just trying to get into a survey, it hurts my productivity.
I will keep on though, I have a trip I am planning for November! :cooldance:

Heather, we are the same age. I always wonder what age is the most common/popular to do the surveys. So, you are not too old!!!!!

It's happening to me plenty too but I'm at least able to at least get one, I think with the surveys being down is the reason. You can do it, I just cashed out for a $500 GC last week with .13 cents left in my account, I already have over $20. Good luck with the marathon, we are going in April this year for Wine and Dine....this is what we call ALL our Disney trips, we go for the food! :rotfl:

Pam~you're killin' me!! :rotfl: I must agree though....I do NOT skimp when I got to WDW. I LOVE Boma and I must have Raglan Road's bread pudding as many times as I can get it b/c we don't have one here. And I am gluten free! But RR's bread pudding makes me cheat-it is THAT good!! :p

We go to Raglan Road every trip too, I'll just have to give this bread pudding a taste test for myself! Thanks! :D My favorite is the Shepard's Pie! ;)
