Surveys not crediting question

I seem to be getting a lot of surveys that I complete and it says that they have been completed; but I am not getting payed for them. I would say that a good third of my surveys are not paying now. It seems that it has increased over the last two months. Am I the only one having this problem?

Yes,-see my post under the DS issues above. In April, at least 3 to 4 times a week, I wouldn't get credit for a certain survey I'd completed. Nothing changed in how I do surveys, nor on my computer. Not sure what's up. And I go slow so I don't miss a qualifer question....

Have you changed any settings on your computer? Are you getting paid for any surveys that you complete? I completed almost 200 surveys in the month of April and at the most had maybe 2 or 3 fluke surveys that didn't credit for some reason. Can you give more information on what browser you are using and if you are clearing cookies etc. To miss credit for that many surveys makes me wonder if your computer isn't somehow blocking credits.
Also, are you taking surveys through companies other than SR?

In the last month I have had at least 15 surveys that I did not get credit for:

~ 4 DS/SM
5-6 Samp
4-5 Live (2 this week)
1-2 MV

so it's not just you, I use mostly FF as I have much better luck than with IE. Been a tough month for these kind of problems and very much out of the ordinary in the over 2 years I have been a member of SR. Most of the time I am able to get another survey for that company,but it is more work.

Just finished the SH about auto shopping and the last page (when they ask if you want to give your name and contact info) is just hanging!
I tried refresh and it goes nowhere. It finally went to cannot find page and when I refreshed said "The URL is invalid. Please try again."
I know I completed it because it is the simialr car one they have been offering off and on for months. It even asks you if you have taken the exact same survey before as one of the questions! :computer:

took an ssi1 this morning on casinos. totally completed it, got the star page and also the page that says that my answers had been successfully submitted but for some reason it did not credit immediately. went in deleted my cookies, rebooted my computer and tried again and was able to get another ssi1 right away and it credited immediately. guess it must have been some kind of fluke that the 1st 1 did not credit but was extremely happy that the 2nd one did.:party:

I don't always get the validation code on DS/SM and they still credit. SM does not seem to be a plentiful as they used to be; at least for me.

no Tricia-actually i only got 13 sm surveys for the entire month of may and about half of them did not credit and i was unable to get the other half. does that make sense? the last sm survey i took that did not credit was on saturday so for now i am not even going to take sm surveys any more as i feel it is not a good use of my time to spend time on a survey that is not going to credit for me.

This sounds similar to what I experienced last summer for an entire quarter when NO SM would credit for me. After a number of days where no one had any suggestions, I tried the regular Y2C and that did credit. For the rest of the quarter I only did Y2C and those credited. I lost out on the Super Member perk of the extra 10 cents but I wasn't getting the 60 cents so 50 cents was better than nothing. This same thing happened to another Super Member so it was not just me.

Marcy - you are not counting the days that there are just no surveys for you right? Just ones that complete properly and don't credit.

Different situation then. none of my SM credited. the first few days of the quarter,I would complete 2-3 in a day and no credit for any of them.

I took both yesterday a few hours apart and didn't have any trouble with credits. Sorry you didn't get credit. Maybe try spacing them out in the day to see if that helps (and if you have the time).

DH took the SSI first and waited two hours for it to credit. When it didn't, he tried the SSI2. That also did not credit. He just completed a SSI survey for today and that did credit. Still can't explain what happened yesterday since he rarely completes a SSI/SSI2 survey that does not credit.

Cleared cookies, tried again the the 2nd one credited.

SSI is one of the most reliable survey companies as far as completed ones crediting, IMO. Things happen, I guess.

Those usually credit within one hour. Sometimes there is a delay of another hour. It should have credited by now. As a rule they seem to be crediting fine so there must have been something that kept that one from crediting. I did one this morning and got credit. Also, I notice that the stoplight on that one is green so they are crediting for the majority of people who are taking them. Did you clear cookies between taking one on Monday and one on Tuesday? Did you take a greenfield and a ytc without clearing cookies in between?

I had 2 GF's that did not credit this month, I also got the completion page on both. I do not recall having GF's that did not credit. I was thinking at 1st it was the survey, but after reading Trish's post yesterday about GF changing things up. It could be that is what the problem is. Usually June is a great month for all surveys companys, GF is not been good this month at all.

They should all credit within about 2 hours or so, so at this point, yes,l you're probably out of luck. Was this the first day you've taken surveys through SR? Have any other SR surveys creditted? If you have successfully completed other SR surveys before yesterday, did you clear cookies before you started? Which ones did you take yesterday?

I just posted a thread about this earlier. I have lost over $3. in surveys not crediting, mostly Greenfield. That use to be my "go to" survey but now I am frustrated because I take the surveys, get to the congrats page, and then never get the credit! I thought that it was only me. What can be done to rectify this problem. I am getting to the point where it is not worth all of my time to do these surveys and not get the credit for them. Very dissapointing!!!

Are you clearing cookies too fast? Live Sample takes til about 10 after the hour; samplicious???-around the top of the hour usually but I don't get them alot so I could be off.

Agreed-if a survey hasn't credited within 2 hours, you are out of luck usually.

I use ccleaner-more in depth than cookies. Use it usually at the beginning of the day and between ssi and ssi2. That's another one-ssi credits immediately; ssi2 at the top of the hour.

I'm wondering if you cleared cookies too soon, before each had a chance to credit. Most people only clear cookies twice a day--once before you start surveys and once in between SSI and SSI 2. Before you clear cookies mid-day, try to make sure everything has had a chance to credit first. So if you take 3 surveys, try to wait until they credit before you clear cookies again or you run the risk of deleting the survey's cookie and not being paid.

Which browser are you using? There may be something in your settings we can help you with too.

Thanks for the warning. I think I got that for my SM and answered that I did not own one of those products so I would not qualify.

Instead I got a survey about condoms, get to the end and do not qualify. Last time I take a survey like that about "intimacy" or products for it. I have chosen to do several GF of that type and every time after I answer some pretty personal questions I always do not qualify.

Remember that if you have VERY specific information for us, these are the ones that you can report that we can turn in to them to see if we can get credit. The link is at the bottom of the Greenfield survey page. But you need to have the URL of the survey that you were taking, not just the "completed" page URL because that does not tell them which survey it was.

To be honest, I don't report them anymore. There have been some very specific surveys (I remember a camera one) that a number of people completed and did not credit or got DNQ after entering the validation code and at least one member had the survey#/URL and never saw that we got credit. I think there were some posts in May maybe.

I didn't say I come to the forum and post and do not report it to GF. Once we realize that it's not going to credit it's too late to get the info that GF needs. Tricia posted something about the exact info including URL that is needed and I am pretty sure that is while we are in the survey not after we did the validation code which is what most people were sending to GF thru the problem reporting link.

Sure seems there is a problem with SSI.

Both are red lighted which is rare, but it is the month/quarter end.

If I remember correctly, in the past when SSI had crediting problems we sometimes did get the credits. Maybe Tricia can work her magic again.

It does look like they might be having a problem, but the will not have anyone in the office until Monday. So my advice would be that if you are really worried about getting the credits, do NOT try them until you see the light turn yellow. Sometimes we do get a lump of credits from them after the fact. We always try to. But there is always a chance that we will not as well. :(

Just heard back from SSI. They are on the Amazon servers and the Amazon servers suffered a huge outage the last few days. They said that everything is still tracking properly and we should start seeing the credits caught up. I will watch carefully!!

It actually may be the email address you are using. For some reason, it doesn't like mine. Do you have a different email address that you use?

I got that all day Saturday and part of yesterday and this morning as well. I was finally able to get and complete one yesterday and this morning. I assumed they just didn't have any for me as it was month/quarter end and now Monday and a new month. Guess I should look at the e-mail as Tricia sugguested next time.

I always use Firefox for SR, works SO much better for me than IE.

Edited to add - I just finished one and it didn't credit, but I am hopeful it tracked and the credits will come through eventually. I qualified on the first try, so there might be a lot of SSI surveys out there!

Right. The only time it would matter is if you are having account problems and GF specifically asks which email address you were using to try surveys. Then we would need to get that from you.

Are you getting the flag page or a blank white page? The blank page has happened several times in the past and other people had the problem,

I took them both earlier today and got credit for them. One was this morning and the other was midday. Have you tried again recently? I'll make sure Tricia knows so she can watch it but they are both green so that means the majority of people who click on the links are getting credit for them.

I got the flag page this morning which has never happened to me with an SSI that I have completed. I know for sure I had not done that survey before. I think there just must be a glitch somewhere with SSI. For as long as I have been taking them I have never had any issues. It's one of my best qualifying and completing surveys.

I was actually able to track down this survey and just emailed them to see if there is a problem with it. I can see where you completed it and it comes back as a "fail" but not a "did not complete." I'm trying to find out from them what that means.

Last week, it was almost like the "old" days-got one most days.

Since Saturday-nada-it won't even let me try. Just goes straight to the "thank you but we have no surveys...."

GF's have been hard to get the last couple of months, I keep trying on and off all day and finally manage to get in. I have been noticing changes again, today got a code to get in like shead, then went to a page titled at least in my cookies toluno quick, then went to a regular survey. I have been seeing this quite a bit lately also, asking the same ? 2 times such as are you religious with 4 choices, then a couple of pages later same ? appears. If you do not answer it the same way you booted. Then at the end of survey you still get the regular 6 letters to type again. It seems to me they keep adding news hoops to jump though all the time. I guess they spend a lot of time trying to figure how to get people to not do what they want. Just my opinion.

GF has been difficult for me to get the last couple of months. I usually can get one a day but lately I'm lucky if I get one every other day. I used to be able to get SH almost every day until the end of last year. Now except for short periods of time it is one of the toughest for me to get. And if some are not crediting I am not sure it's worth doing.

I understand that taking another one is always an option but I work full time and just don't have the time to keep taking surveys that don't credit thru no fault of mine. I had 4 from various surveys that did not credit since last evening; doing another one every time could be over an hour which I just don't have time to do. I think alot of our SR members have limited time to do surveys and can't keep redoing ones they already completed.

We all know that things go wrong and sometimes things just don't credit but seems like all of a sudden there are problems with numerous people not getting credits. I will try another SM tonight IF Ihave time. Hope it credits.

SR doesn't have a lot of options for surveys that don't credit. I hate to say that it is a risk we take for doing surveys but I guess that kind of sums it up. Perhaps a break would be good. I took one for many months because it was becoming time consuming and frustrating. I'm back to taking them again because I like the extra money. I promise if there were something Tricia could do she would do. When you lose out on $2-$4 dollars she loses out on that times the number of people who had a survey not credit. I understand completely that there is nothing that Tricia or SR can do; it's not SR's fault if things don't credit. Tricia does an amazing job of trying to get credits for us. I love SR and am very happy with my earnings. All I was trying to say is that "take another one" may not be an option for a lot of people.

That is a LOT of surveys not to get credit for in such a short period of time. Especially when I see a lot of credits coming in. I wonder if it could be that your browser is blocking a certain type of cookie and only some of the surveys use that particular cookie?

I will check my browser when I get home. There was a sticky somewhere here when I started about cookie settings (allowing) and I always check that nothing has changed after an Win update which I haven't done.

I should be more specific:

The SM simply did not credit
SSI went to the flag page instead of the stars
SH just came to a dead end at the end after I finished and never went back to the SR page
Samp - I completed the survey, put my demos in and it went to the "sorry.... page, want to try another".

I think I just had some bad luck with technical issues (except the SM) happening close together; it is frustrating I spent well over an hour on those 4.

If I get word from them that there ARE missing credits and they are going to import them, I'll extend the time everyone can post their entries to compensate for it.

I would go in and try them again because there is the possibility they wont upload credits because we are seeing credits come in still. Occasionally they will but don't count on it for your 8 because we can only take what they give us and more often than not it is nothing. I hope you get the last ones!

If I were you I would go in and do a serious cleaning. What browser are you using? I just had an AMP credit last hour so I know they are crediting. That is a lot of surveys not crediting for you and they are all on different networks so it is very strange. There is something up on your computer and unfortunately I don't know how to tell you to fix it. I would start with running a scan and cleaning. Try changing browsers. I dont think it is anything to do with cleaning the computer. I do a "deep" clean as you say every night and I had 4 that didnt credit last night and on average 2 per day that dont credit, there are some major issues NOT with individual computers

I use FF for SR, just works better for me, I use Ccleaner at least twice a day (after SSI and when I shut down for the night). Unfortunately the numbers are not saying that there is a major problem. The numbers are saying that the surveys are crediting. I had a Daily Survey not credit and then I took another and it the next one did. Greenfield is going to say that there was an issue on my end because the next one and the large majority of the others did. The rest of the surveys I took today (6 of them) all credited as expected. We can't go to the survey companies and say that we have some surveys not crediting when they can point to the numbers and show us the large majority that are. I know it sucks but that is what it is. I am sure that Tricia reported it to them but since it is different surveys that it is happening with and different members there is not much luck they are going to see it as a "major problem" because the 5 or 6 members we have that are saying they didn't get credit are a small percentage of the people who are taking their surveys all day long. I wish it were different but it isn't. Hopefully tomorrow they will get back with Tricia and say that they help but I would rather you guys not depend on that happening. Especially since there is only one red survey and that is the long AMP which means that the majority of people taking the rest of the surveys are getting credit for them. Could it be flukey surveys? Perhaps but the only way to get rid of those is to report them and the new system of putting a captcha at the beginning and end makes it hard for us to get the url for those. I wish there was more that we could do...truly I do because the more money you make, the money Tricia makes, the more contests and prizes and percent increases she can give the rest of us. We all want 100% crediting (or as close as we can get). Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

Luckily AVG caught it and I was able to delete it. We would like to believe all of the sites we visit on surveys are trustworthy but we just don't know. I was trying to give you some suggestions so we know we have done everything we can. That is a lot of surveys for one person to not have credit when the numbers say the surveys are crediting fine. I guess we can just blame it on SR, the survey companies, the end of the month...whatever we want but in the end the result is the same. We can't get credits if the numbers say that the surveys are crediting for most of the people taking them. :cry:

If you get a credit that is dated today, do not do that same survey again today. Sometimes they date them wrong. :(

Has anybody else been having a problem with surveys lately or is it just me? I either cannot qualify or I'll be taking one for about 10 minutes thinking I'm going to complete it & all of a sudden it'll kick me out with a 'this survey has been filled' message. SO FRUSTRATING! Totally feel your pain probably had about 10 since yesterday with that happening. when you only have a small window on time to do surveys and you take the time to give your opinion to not be rewarded very frusterating!!

Anyone having an issue with getting credit for their surveys? Not sure if the problem from a few days ago has been fixed. I've did one yesterday and 2 today and no credit - they usually appear instantly. I'm using FireFox.

DH completed a SSI2 this morning that did not credit. He had several SSI2 surveys last month that were completed but did not credit.

Today I completed the MTC Long and no credit.
Is this an on going problem? How long do we wait for credit?

I took 4 surveys yesterday. The first SSI did not route back properly and so, did not credit. I expected that. The second SSI was long and I'm not sure why it didn't credit....maybe related to the first one? (I did just take one today and it creditted, so it must have been me.)

I also took an AMP last night and panicked at first when it didn't credit on the first hour. It DID credit on the second hour, along with the GF I took.

SSI should credit immediately, the rest should be within a few hours. If they don't credit on the first hour, give it till maybe 15 minutes after the second before saying it doesn't credit.

As far as I know there is not an overall issue with crediting. All of these credited at the time they were supposed to credit. Please let us know if you are seeing more issue because last time it started off with some crediting and some not and then slowly over a day moved in to none of them crediting so I dont want to assume there is not a problem but I know that as of yesterday these were all crediting fine.

The idea is to keep all of the crediting issues in one thread so that we can see them and deal with them promptly. There is no need to start a new thread each time you have a crediting issue. Just tack it on to this thread and I assure you I read this thread every time there is an update. I also get an email notification when it is updated. If you open a new thread it may be hours before someone sees it. If you update here we will get email notifications to our phones and know there is an issue even if we are not home at our computers. Thanks for helping us make this a little more streamline. Again, it wasn't my intention to merge them in to a closed thread and it is now open so you guys can reply.

How long did you give them to credit? I had one this morning for my DS that gave me a few errors and I didn't think it would credit, but it did. However, I'd already reported a problem with the survey after the first error occurred.

The last page of the survey didn't say it would take me back to my panel, but instead went to some error screen too. Mine was on cat treats.

You may want to make a big sticky or some king of announcement. While the survey problem threads may be informative, the sheer volume opened each day is annoying to me and I'm sure others as well.

I have never seen someone who loses credits like you do. It is very strange. Are these surveys that you are getting the congrats page for and they are not crediting? Have you cleaned your computer lately? It is very strange that you would miss credits that often. I have been doing this for years now and have never lost survey credits more than a few in a month. You have posted many times today about lost credits which makes me think there is a major issue on your end. I have never seen anyone have issues like yours so I just wonder if you have some sort of spyware or adware on your computer. It is very odd for sure and honestly at the rate that you are completing these and getting the congrats page and then not getting credits I would stop taking them until you figure out why your credits are coming through. I haven't had a single survey not credit this week and last month the only one that didn't credit was the day greenfield had an issue. One compared to the numerous ones you post about each day tells me there is definitely something going on. Now if these posts are about surveys that you are getting disqualified for it is a different story and those should not be being posted about as there is no way to do anything about that. How many surveys have you taken and gotten the congrats page for and then not gotten credit for?

This is not a crediting issue. This is a qualifying issue and there is nothing we can do about this. There are many reasons we get disqualified from a survey and those are not surveys you should be reporting every time you get disqualified from a survey. The point of reporting noncrediting surveys is so that we can detect a reporting issue as quickly as possible and report it to the survey companies. If you are reporting surveys you get kicked out of then we wont know when there is an issue. Please keep your posts to surveys that you complete and get the congrats page for and then do not receive credit for. Thanks!

Quick question...for the past few days, my first completed with the star page SSI's have not credited. Since these always are supposed to credit immediately, I just want to be sure I should go ahead and clear cookies right then and attempt again. In other words, it won't credit if it didn't immediately. Yesterday and one other day I waited til after the top of the hour to clear, but since it never did, I waisted time. Don't know why it doesn't credit, I have gotten them on the second time. I always start out survey day by running CCleaner,so that's not it.

Some SSi do not credit, I think its the survey itself. I did one about lottery ticket, and no credit. I always clear cookies for each survey that I take, I had used FF, went back in Chrome and took 1 and it credited. Hard to figure out what is the deal. As a rule I do not take many that do not credit, it is usually SSI 1 or 2 that give me the most issues with credit.

mellymel I asked a simple question. Is the problem that you are getting the congrats page and not getting credit or that you are getting disqualified at the end of a survey? That is a very valid question for me to ask since you are here posting that there is an issue and we are here to try and solve issues. If you want help we have to ask questions. I simply said I have never seen someone post so often that they had lost credits and I was looking for the reasons why you might be having issues. If the issue is that you are getting disqualified then I simply can only say that we all get disqualified all day long. It is the nature of surveys. If the issue is that you are getting the congrats page on all of these surveys and you are not getting credit then there most certainly is an issue and it is not an issue that anyone else is experience in the volume you are so we would like to find out why it is happening. No need to be ugly. Either you want help or you don't. The name of the thread is "surveys not crediting" and there is a big difference between surveys not crediting and you not qualifying for a survey or getting disqualified at the end of a survey. One we can try to do something about the other we can't. Both are equally frustrating but the point of this thread is to help us see if there is an issue with surveys not crediting once the congrats page has been received so that we can do something about it.

I have just started doing surveys again and out of the last 6 SSI ones that I have gotten to the end - says survey complete - asks how would I rate the survey etc - I haven't received credit for 3 of them. Kind of discouraging since that was one of the reasons I stopped doing them in the first place.

I took one earlier and it didn't credit but when I cleared cookies and took another it did credit. I don't know if there are some flukey surveys out there or what but it doesn't seem to be an overall issue as credits are coming in but there does seem to be some that aren't crediting. I just completed a long SSI survey on finances that went to the flag page. It said 25 minutes and I spent 28 on it, so I didn't go too fast. I got this message:

Thank you for your interest in participating in our surveys. Unfortunately we are unable to record your participation in this survey due to one or more of the following reasons: 1.You or someone else using the same computer has already participated in this survey.
2.The country under which you are registered does not match the location of the computer you are currently using.
3.Sometimes, if interviews are rushed through they can't be used and you may not be eligible for the survey reward.
4.Our security system detected that someone using this computer engaged in irregular activity.

Just curious, how does that work? Doesn't SSI require that we use the exact same birthdate when we log in? I have seen others posting that their husbands do one SSI and they do the other.

Basically, I always do the SSI surveys with my birthdate and my demographics and my DH always does the SSI(2) surveys with his birthdate and his demographics. We don't switch it up. I only do the SSI surveys and he only does the SSI (2) surveys.

I think we're still allowed to do the surveys this way. I can't remember hearing about any changes.

This is how we do it too. I take the GF DS and husband takes the YTC. I take the SSI and he takes the SSI2. I take the AMP short and if I cant qualify for one before he gets home he tries to get an AMP long. I do all of the rest. I feel like it gives us more opportunities with the companies that offer more than one survey per day. We don't ever switch up. He always does his with his info and I always do mine with my info.

Anyone else notice a lot more long (40-45 min) surveys from SSI? Almost all of theirs used to be under 20 minutes which I thought was reasonable based on the payout. I am seeing more and more long surveys, and based on all the posts recently a higher than normal chance the wont credit. Does make me hesitant to take the longer ones.....
