My Goal...

Okay, it's only four months before our family vacation! Thus, I'm in the planning mood. I'm determine to earn an additional 400.00 credits before our July vacation. Therefore, I pledge to do a Greenfield Survey, SM survey and OTX survey, every available offer, and click from today until June 30!

Yes, I'm setting high goals, but I can do it! Health don't fail me now! :angel:

Anyone else want to set a goal for their summer vacation!?

I am almost at my goal right now. I will for sure be there after my computers credit which is about 25.00 from Apple. I am hoping this month. I also have tons of hotel.com stays and Budget Rental Cars that should be coming up so I may even surpass my goal. But my goal was to get 500 before my parents left on their cruise in may so that we can put a down on a cruise in December of 09 on the ship. After that my goal will be to pay for the rest of the stay in 2009 along with a few jumps here and there to Disneyland this year.

I'm frantically doing every survey (in the middle of one now) I can and all the offers I can, just to make super member this quarter... I would like to keep up the pace next month in hopes of making super member earlier in the quarter next time (less stress).

I'm not sure when the next disney card special cashout will be, but I'd like to have a healthy balance for the next cashout special... hopefully enough for the $250 option but it is hard to set that as a goal since I don't know when that will be, so I'll work on the super member goal for now.

Thanks for starting this thread... I think it is easier to reach a goal when I know others are also trying...and we can encourage, share info on offers, and celebrate together.

Well I just booked my Disney Trip and if Free dining is offered in Sept then we are golden. If its not then I need to come up with another $600 before Sept. So for now that is my goal - $600ish by Sept. Not sure if I can get there but I'll try. If free dining is offered then that will just go in the honeymoon stash for wherever we decide to go when that time comes.

Usually it's no problem for me but with the Greenfield snafu this quarter, well it's going to be a real fight!

Other than that my goal is to earn at least $300 for our September trip (we'll book Sept if free dining comes out but if it doesn't then we will wait until December or January).

Not sure what my goal is. We are not going to WDW until July of 2009. Lots of time to save. But I want as much as possible. If I can continue SM, then I am making a decent amount. I am a bit worried about next quarter though. I am not qualifying (nor DH) very well when it comes to the surveys. I have not tried every day though. Slacking a bit I guess.

Lisa - thanks for the encouragement. I will try EVERY day for a survey. Surely I can qualify at least every other day.....

My goal is to earn as much as possible to pay for my August 2009 Disney Cruise. Right now I have $400 in Disney Gift Cards, plus a little over $100 balance for next cashout. I need a mere $750 after that to pay off my cruise. I hope I can do that, but that's a big goal to set for myself.

Right now my goal is to earn enough to pay for 1 night at a mod. hotel, 3 adult, 1 child tix. for mnsshp, and dinner at Liberty tree. We're going just for the night after the cruise. Right now I have $180, so that will at least pay for one of them.

Well, since we're not saving for any Disney trips, I don't have the same sort of goals as most of you!!:) But I do want to earn as much as possible so I can help with some home re-decorating and repair work, and also to be able to get gift cards to use for clothing expenses for the kids - so my DH isn't fussing about what I'm putting on my credit card for that from say, Old Navy! I have made SM for this coming quarter, and I am excited about that. So one main goal I have is to maintain that - and get it accomplished ASAP in the new quarter!

Hmmm, not sure I have a specific goal in mind. We probably won't do Disney again until 09, so I would LOVE to have earned enough money to pay for most of it, or a bulk of it by then. This year we'll be doing small day trips etc for vaca, with our Disney trip in 07 and the economy, DH is pretty adamant about putting more into the kids college funds this year. So I'm not sure if I'll cash out and help pay for DS bday in June, or save for XMAS or cashout in summer for a few days down the beach or just save it all and cash out at the next (whenever it may be) special cashout. I do know that even though I don't have a specific goal in mind it has not deterred me from earning and doing my survey's everyday.

Of course there's always the possibility that i can convince DH to let me go on the SR cruise in Oct if I can fully pay for everything except the airfare! :)

We are booked to go again this summer, but the big difference is my husband hasn't worked since October. Finances are tight, a position we've never been in before. We've talked to the kids and told them IF we are able to go this summer, it's going to be a very streamlined vacation. They have been very fortunate in that we have never said no to many things with them, probably to many times we took vacations or bought things without giving it much thought and it has definately been their upbringing. I can't fault them for wanting what they have always had, so it's my goal to make that trip - even if it's streamlined.

The resort accepts disney $$'s so I'm hoping to earn enough to offset what we spend there. It's easy to cut back there as it doesn't require park tickets, which is a huge expense. Then the only added expense is driving there.

I feel like I've been around sunshine rewards for so long and just recently figured out what it was all about. :sunshine: Until about December, I would just do the daily scratch off, the paid clicks and the emails. It took forever to earn enough to cash out. I don't know what it was that made me start looking at the forums, but once I did, I wondered how I missed all this for so long. I'm amazed at how much I've earned in the couple of months and I look forward to what the earning are still to come. I believe I've made super member for the next quarter. :cooldance: So, here's my chance to say Thanks!

I am almost at my goal of $600 for our June trip- in fact, well ahead of schedule. When my purchases I made over the weekend fund I should have about $525 of my goal- with still a good 6 weeks left to go! (I want to cash out in early May).

I have been pretty faithful with the OTX surveys, the freebies, a few of the offers that I really wanted to try, and some Greenfields here and there.

I think you have a GREAT goal. My next goal is $350 for my Sept trip. :mickey::minnie:

I have earned $700 for this trip, so far. We booked a package deal at a mod with hopper tickets and water parks, so I can't break it down into having paid for anything specific althought I think it has paid for almost a third of the deal. However, my current goal is the squeeze one more hundred out in the next month. Counting survey bonus and a pending credt, I have over $20, right now. And, as soon as I scrub my computer clean, I have more shopping to do. I am still using DD12's computer and since I have been, I have more trouble with my credits. I have got to call Comcast about our slow connection problem. Maybe next wk while we are on Spring Break...

I don't really have a spcific goal right now either, but I have enough to cash out for $250 in Disney GCs and I have a Disney savings account started at my bank. Everybody keeps saying that since I just went to WDW last year, I should quit dreaming about going back!

The way I look at it, vacation is out of the picture this year. Next year, however, I just may be able to go back way earlier than I'd thought, thanks in LARGE part to SR!

I have already cashed out for $500 in Disney GC for spending $$ for Disney next August. My goal is to get another $500 saved for spending $$ by next year too and keep getting supermember each quarter. I made it again for this quarter but the next 3 months will be tough I think with surveys being so tight now. I dove back in today and got one yesterday and today...so we will see! I can never seem to qualify for an OTX survey either.

Okay, I can't beleive the jump in my account (well, I can beleive it) since I started my goal! I can't remember where I was then, but my account has really grown. I've been trying to complete the GF, SM and OTX everyday. I've haven't gotten all three everyday, but I did a few days, and or at least gotten two of them. Not bad at all! Crazy credits really helped as well! Thanks Tricial for helping us out!

If I keep this us for sure I'll meet my goal! Go Lisa, Go Lisa, Go Lisa, You can do it, you can do it! :cooldance:

I'll jump in. My goal is to make about $200 more before my trip in October. I was going good last year, but with starting grad school this semester, my so called computer time has been spent on a statistics class and writing papers.
Super Member isn't even an option this quarter. :(

So far I've earned about $650. I figure between that and the points on my Disney card, I'll have enough to cover food and a few other things for our trip. We don't do the dining plan since we don't tend to do more than one or two table service meals the whole week. So I figure that should be enough.

Only $160 more to go to reach my goal. :wizard:
