Do You Read the DealMail Regularly?

I'm working on a blog post about how we are using our forum combined with our newsletter to send out daily deals. I was wondering if any of you who like it can give me a little feedback that I can include in the post. Maybe how often you read the DailyDealMails? Whether you end up clicking through to the forum or going straight to the deals? Any deals in particular you have gotten through the newsletter that you think I should mention?

I am more likely to check my digest if I haven't been on the forum. I am most likely to click on the amazon deals, as often they are most relevant.
That said, as someone who gets a lot of daily deal emails/rss/tweets, you guys do a good job of not having the same deals as everyone else.

I read them everyday.
I came real close to getting a Mickey Watch last week. But when I checked out, it said male watch or female watch. I didn't want a man size watch, but I wanted a Mickey watch.

I got Levi's when they were 40% off. That was a huge deal. In stores they run at least $40 a pair. I got 2 pair for $25 a piece plus free shipping. I paid that price over 10 years ago.

I read the Daily Deal Mail everyday and have taken advantage of some of the deals. I especially like the "free" deals. Those are a nice surprise. :)

I read it almost everyday and I have shopped some of the deals. I like it when the link in the email takes you to the forum and then you can click through to the offer or deal from there. That way I can make sure I am logged in to SR so I get the credit and sometimes there is more info on the deal, which is always helpful.

I usually will open and skim through mine every day or so. If I am in a shopping mood I will look at it carefully and sometimes, it has put me in a shopping mood! HTH

Same here. Sometimes it shows up in the new email address and sometimes it still shows up in the old.

Try clicking the "Have you signed up for the daily deal mail?" link in the Member Zone. Couldn't you update your email address there?
