I discovered Sunshine rewards in May of 2007. I found out about it from the budget boards over at the Disboards. I have enjoyed being a member and tell people about it all the time. Every penny I have earned here has gone towards our family Disney vacations. Thanks Sunshine :sunshine:

I found out about Sunshine Rewards also from the Disboards Budget forum....which I never even go to anymore strangely enough. It has been about 2 1/2 years now. Every single penny has gone towards Disney!

Like a lot of other people here I discovered SR over on the DIS Boards/Budget Board. Heard about SR a few months after my last trip to WDW in September 2009. I am planning a family vacation to Disney this fall and most of the trip is being funded by my SR earnings (check out the total in my signature!). Last time we stayed at a Value resort and this time will be booking a Moderate thanks to Sunshine Rewards. :banana:

I had my 3 year SR anniversary in the last week or so I think.

I found Sunshine Rewards on the DIS Budget Board. Tricia started answering questions that people had, and I thought, "if this person was answering questions, the site was worth looking into.

I made a few dollars here and there, but when this Forum opened up, Yowza!
It made me realize how much more I could be doing.

I'm another convert from the Dis Budget Boards! I think I joined in 2009 but didn't really start earning until 2010.

My Sunshine Rewards earnings allowed us to do things on our Disney trips that we couldn't afford otherwise, like staying at the Grand Californian at Disneyland, the Halloween party, etc. In other words, SR totally fed my addiction! :rotfl:

No trips planned for the immediate future as we are focusing our financial resources on some other life goals. But I buy all my Kindle books with Amazon GCs from Sunshine.

Disboards...I'm seeing a pattern here LOL. I joined on Valentines Day 2007...that means I am coming up on my 6 year anniversary. I remember when the forum opened. I also remember that there was very little time spent on Disboards once they did LOL It has been a great 6 years. I wonder if I was feeling lonely on Valentines Day and that is how I ended up here?

I heard about SR and other rewards sites on the Dis budget board. I joined one of the other ones and a couple of survey sites. About a month later, I was invited to do a focus group (got paid $125) of new members talking about the other site. The facilitator asked us about what other sites we did. One person in the group sang the praises of SR. So, I went home and joined! That was March 2007. When we took my son to WDW to begin his college program in August, I had enough free money to take us out to dinner in Downtown Disney.

I found SR in the Summer of 2011 on the DISboards. I was looking for ways to make money to fund our Walt Disney World/Disney Cruise trips and someone had suggested trying surveys and the most reliable and reputable site was Sunshine Rewards. Immediately, I was hooked and any money I make is automatically deposited to a Vacation fund that I have set up because of SR. I also found out through the DIS budget boards just last summer - I was planning a surprise trip to take my mom to Disney World as a thank you after I graduated college, but being fresh out of school meant I needed a little help paying for the trip. Very grateful for SR!

I, too, discovered SR through the Dis. I can't remember now, if it was from the Budget Board or the Rewards Board. I joined in January 2007. And I recently enjoyed a dinner using a SR Disney Gift card to purchase my daughter's 2nd birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's!:minnie::mickey::banana::thanks:

I think I am one of the few who id not find out from Disboards, IO never heard of it until just now. I also have never been to Disney, I like the Caribbean, love St John's and St Martin. I joined in 2007, I was out on disability from work and was looking for rewards sites, came across Sunshine and had plenty of free time and decided to try it. I am very glad I found it and enjoy resding and getting to know others on the forums.

July 19, 2007 was my sign-up date! I learned of Sunshine Rewards when reading the famous TimandLesley's trip report from their summer of 2007 trip! The Tim and Lesley clan have always been an inspiration to me, and so many members of the Disboards! Hard to believe it's been THAT long since I stumbled upon the DISboards (early '07) via a google search that led me to TimandLesley's '06 trip report!

Reading through the comments and it seems that many of us found Sunshine Rewards through the disboards. I have always dreamed of taking a vacation to WDW but always thought I would never get there on my budget. I joined Sunshine Rewards from reading how a member funded their vacation through SR. I am a newbie! I found out about SR this past August 2012. I was on the DISboards reading through Carrie Hayward's Wedding PJ. She said that she went on everyday for a year to save up for her wedding. SO I took inspiration from her, started early and saving up for our Disney wedding too :cooldance:
