Last Halloween I dressed up as a Boy Scout. I wore it to a Girl Scout Halloween dance where I was a chaperone. Got a lot of laughs out of that one!

I was "Fall" 2 years ago. I glued colored leaves all over my clothes and they periodically fell off throughout the night. It was for a neighborhood party that was outside. It was too cold to not wear warm clothes so I came up with this at the last minute.

The last costume I wore, was probably the last year I went trick or treating. I was a cheerleader :)

Well a few years back (2008?) DH and I went to MNSSHP and dressed up as Red Wing fans. Not a far stretch since we already are that, but we went all out (no face paint though). They were easy costumes to bring since we flew to WDW.

Last time I dressed up was MNSSHP a few years ago. We went as tourists! Big hat, fanny pack, crocs with socks pulled up. It was fun and still comfortable for the party :)

DH and I just went to MNSSHP on Sept 10! I dressed as Maleficent (black/purple/red tutu, black corset top, & mini handmade horns from Etsy). DH dressed as Wreck-It Ralph, which was a big hit, complete with Carhartt overalls!

On actual Halloween 2011, I was a web-masked mistress dressed all in black with bright red lips. I drew the mask around my eyes and cheekbones using makeup and colored it in like webs.

Not quite 20 years ago, but....

16 years ago, I was 8 months pregnant with my daughter and working in an elementary school where EVERYONE dressed up for Halloween. Not wanting to be the typical pregnant pumpkin, I was an overstuffed scarecrow!

Last year I actually talked my husband into going to our friend's annual Halloween party for the first time. It was a last minute decision so the stores were pretty picked clean and I am very uncreative. So we made do with hippie chick and hippie dude......love some tie dye shirts....

Halloween used to be a much bigger deal at work than it is now. The last time our department dressed up, we were all different types of candy - I was a Lifesaver!

I remember working with my aunt when I was little to make a Dorothy costume by hand. I loved learning how to hand sew buttons! But my favorite costume was my first couples costume with my now husband - I made us Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood costumes from scratch, even hand-beading my own Luna jewelry and making wizard robes from an old Jedi robe pattern!

About 4 years ago a bunch of us did a girls only trip to Disney at halloween and I dressed up as a Pink Flamingo keeper. I had a t-shirt and shorts on that had flamingos all over them with a baseball cap with a stuffed flamingo on the top. I also had sprained my knee a week before we left so I was using a scooter which I decorated all over with paper flamingos and a big sign on the back of the scooter saying flamingo keeper.
