How Are Greenfield Surveys Going?

Greenfield has asked us to give them a big push because they are supposedly loading a lot more surveys into the router. Are you finding that to be true? Are you still having crediting problems? Our revenue with them has definitely gone up consistently the last few months.

was away 2 weeks ago. Since I got back I think I have gotten DS every single day. SM has been the best it's been in 12-15 months. I have not had any crediting issues recently. Hope these trends continue.

I also have had success with DS lately, even Saturdays and Sundays. No problems with crediting either.

Agree. For me, GF is almost back to the way it used to be. GF 2/3rds of the month or more-and SM is about 1/3rd.

Oh! No crediting issues either-for several weeks.

It's the first survey I try every day and I usually get one. I have had no crediting problems. I sometimes try for SM but not as often. But I will now! :sunshine:

Eight tries and I finally got one on jeans.
One crashed in the middle of the survey, and I didn't know if I should stop trying, since Toluna asked me about the survey and I had to give an explanation on which one it was,plus I had to give e-mail address.

Tricia said in an e-mail I would get paid for trying, but I plugged along and got one.

So far I have not gotten one today, but that isn't the norm these days. I often get one earlier than this - it is much better than it was, and I don't notice as much shortage of their surveys at the end of the month or on the weekends like I used to.
I also notice that even if I don't get a survey early in the day, I can go back in an hour or two and there have been more added.

Greenfield is usually one of my best surveys- I think I got 20 or so last month, and I got 2 so far this month. It also seems like the crediting issue have cleared up.

I haven't tried many since the crediting issues started but decided to give one a shot the other day. I got all the way through a survey but when I clicked the final submit page, it gave me a 'sorry you don't qualify' message instead of a congratulations. That was the only one I've tried in a few weeks since everyone was having issues. Maybe it is just bad luck.

I tried twice today and didn't get one on either try. The first time was this morning after I got the SSR e-mail and the second time was a little bit ago (around 7:30 pm), but no luck :(

I am still having issues where DS is crediting as SM so last night I got both congrats page and only got credit for SM :(

I was almost done with a one and it all of sudden went to this web page has expired? I swear I was on the page for all of about 3 seconds when it did this. GF just hates me :eek:

Just gave Greenfield a try since it was green and right away got the page that said none were available for me. :-/ I haven't tried in a couple weeks, so I was hoping I wouldn't see that at the start again. I used to get a lot of Greenfield, now I usually don't even get a chance to try.

Lousy, back to "sorry, try again tomorrow" over and over again. Only 3 this year and despite the green lights on SM I have yet to even have the opportunity to try for SM since the end of December.

GF in the last 3-4 months had gone back to having plentiful surveys and I was excited that things were back to the way they had been in the past. They were my "go to" surveys again.

Sorry to see that the trend of recent months is over. :cry:

I spend several minutes entering information on GF only for it to say sorry no survey for you. Are they getting the information they want without paying? I have only been able to complete 2 to 3 surveys this week.

Must agree. This has been the worst month for GF since I joined SR years ago. Still in the single digits with 2 days to go in the month.

I simply don't understand how GF had so many more surveys in Nov and Dec only to immediately return to nothing when the calendar turned.

It all depends on how many contracts they get signed in a month. They don't just make up the surveys. They have to go get companies who want to do market research to pay for the surveys. Plus, look how much more competition there is. When we started SR, Greenfield was the ONLY survey company. So everyone went to them. Now there are so many that I think GF is having a harder time getting companies to pay for them.

As far as the total number of surveys we have had completed this month, we are down from November/December but are actually up from pretty much every other month in 2013 (except July...which was really high for some reason). What we are seeing right now is pretty average for GF now. Unfortunately. 8 years ago we actually had almost 10 times the amount that we have now!

Are you clearing cookies? So you take the DS and then take the SM later and only the SM credits? We should have the DS in our system before you even click on the SM (even though we only actually post them back once an hour).

Let me go in and see if I see your userid in both systems for today.

I just double checked and we definitely did not get credit for the DS that you took today. I see that they recorded you clicked a number of times. But no credit. And it didn't get credited as a SM survey either. You got the whole way through to the completion page of the DS?

no, not clearing cookies. I finished DS around 6:20, and then did SM right after. I tried to go slow and make SM last until 7, but there was no way. I do make sure I take at least 20 mins on Tolunas. Actually didn't get credit until 8AM.

It's totally cookie based. So the only thing that I can think of is that Greenfield is holding onto the cookie from your LAST SM survey click. Which would be weird, but possible. Maybe the key is to take all of one of them with one browser and all of the other with a different one??

Completed a DS that credited as SM. never went anywhere near SM today.
40 minute long Toluna about a chain of eyecare/glasses. Finished it at 7:58, credited at 9PM as SM.credited exactly at 9PM like DS credits, not :05 like SM does

How can it be a cookie issue when I cleared cookies just before I started?

I will give clearing cache a try. I have some weird things happen with GF. Remember a couple of years ago for an entire quarter, SM would not credit, finally tried doing Y2C and those credited? Problem started the 1st day of a new quarter and ended on the last day. :confused:

kind of a pain to have to clear cookies/cache before starting when maybe you are already waiting for another credit and can't do it.

Use 2 browers, then you can do 2 of them one in each window. I do that all the time. Also I run the cleaner after each one or two credit, never hurts to do that. Just a thought for you. and remember if you click on 2cents and then GF does not matter even if you have 2 browsers going that tends to happen.

thanks, I have used 2 browsers sometimes. Last night, I cleared cookies because a Live didn't credit and wanted to try again later. went into the DS, completed it and then walked away from the computer and when I came back to look after the top of the hour it had credited it as SM. I never click into SM before doing DS.

at least I did get credit for the completed survey.

anyone else having problems with GF? I have completed 3 DS since Sunday afternoon that have not credited.

first one was on spray paint and at the end said "sorry one entry per person" I have never taken that one before.

second one was a lot of questions on 20 companies at end got a blank white page

this morning a survey on art museums, cultural events, another one I never did before and I was "terminated" at the end.

all were fairly long, 1,5 hours of my time wasted and nothing to show for it.

Might be time for me to take a break from GF for awhile.

Like, blue,green, red or anything that wants me to watch videos, also one on cars asking you to rate 3 of them. I have been getting movies ones lately. Have you have any credit this week? Sometimes it helps to change browsers with them or change computers, I have done both of those when I had issues and mine where just not crediting problems. That worked for me, did those white pages have videos in them?

Scard, I think you should try Chrome or FF for GF and then do 2cents with a different browser than you us for DS. It can not hurt to try, if you do post what happens, so I can think about it.
