Tricia picks a list of offers....some old and some new.....(and sometimes some shopping merchants) and increases the credit amount for a limited time. If you complete the offer and it credits, you post it in the "official" thread. For every 100 posts a winner is chosen and receives a prize (prizes are added as the post number increases). Offers will be posted in the first post of the official thread a couple at a time.
So it's a chance to earn more by getting increased credits on offers as well as a chance to win something.
You should be getting an email about it if you haven't already. :sunshine2:

Same here the last few were easy credits, doesn't like me this time. I was able to do the Global one and that was I think the 3rd try for me. I actually took it out of pending last week and figured I would try that one after the 1st of April, but hey crazy credits... worth the extra .25

Very odd. The Clash Toys R Us offer, rather than offering me $500 towards the US TRU, has offered me 400 British pounds towards TRU, Britain's greatest toy store.

Sorry, I don't remember exactly.:( I think it said "Must have free gifts" either as the sender or in the title. Hope that helps.

If you have done a clash one recently (I think there were some up last week) you may be blocked due to your IP address. Clash is picky about IP addresses and duplicates even if its a different offer.

I did not have to do anything but sign up to receive information on colleges. We have been thinking it's time for my husband to finish up his masters, so hopefully he'll receive some information. It asked about areas of interest as well as graduation dates from high school & college. Also what schools he's interested in attending. No confirmation email.

Yes you will get credit if you don't do any of the offers. I ended it right there and got credit.

I was curious when you said closed the tab... are you using firefox by chance? are you on a windows based computer?

If the answer is yes to both you might want to consider using IE for freebies as firefox blocks cookies that you need to have offers credit. I don't want you doing too many and then wondering why things aren't crediting.

If that doesn't apply then disregard :sunshine:

our mac users have not reported any issues with firefox so if its crediting for you then go with it. I am mac illiterate so I am of no help.

How long did it take to get credit for the Must Have Free Gifts - NFL Jersey. I cleared cookies, got a new e-mail, did the offer, clicked on two confirmation e-mails and no credit yet. Maybe they didn't like my choice of Jerseys I chose the Dallas Cowboys and that doesn't go along with my state. :angel:

Actually, I just had the Toys R Us offer credit - took a couple hours. I had one where it said something about winning 400 British pounds to spend at the store, if that's like what others had. Anyway, it did finally credit without a confirm email. And when it credited, it had in parentheses beside it (US) - which was curious to me, since the offer I saw offered it in BRitish pounds!

That's an interesting comment about Firefox... I am able to get most of the credits now that I am using Firefox, but I do clean out my "personal items" frequently.

I can't believe that I've gotten all of the offers I have gone for... there have been a few that I have already done... But I do love those crazy credits!!! :sunshine2:

YUP, Done all of those things, I just went in and checked them too, they are set just as you stated above.

Now I just went back to my old email at gmail and we'll see if something credits...I HIGHLY doubt it...ever since I got my new computer for Christmas it's been this way, randomly I get a credit....always got the paid clicks, but not these last few days.

Hello! This is my first time doing Crazy Credits. Most of mine have been crediting but not all. Do you have to place an order to receive the York Photo one? That is what I am guessing. Be sure that you click on our link and start over from scratch if you decide to do York Photo on another computer. The way that the offers work is that when you click on them, they set a cookie. Then when you complete the offer, the site looks for that cookie to see who to give credit to.

I don;t think that there is anything that you can do. Sometimes things will credit later, the 2nd hour and sometimes it is a manual credit and can take up to 14 days, although if that is the case during crazy credits, Tricia will do them throughout the contest.

I ran all my scans this morning and there was nothing funky, just the normal cookies, and my system has been running fine, no slowdowns or anything. Just an fyi for anyone worried about downloads, but I know how you feel, they make me wonky too.

Hubby called them (it was under his name b/c he has the Windows laptop vs my useless-for-stamps Mac) and they said it was a "hold". Gave the typical line of "it should drop off inside a month". My bank never keeps holds that long, so I don't think there will be a problem, but come on, at least do the NORMAL $1 "is this account real" hold!

So I'm taking away my anger at them, but it, um, is on hold. ;) And it's not like we won't keep them, it's an interesting concept, and I'm sending out lots of postcards and such but don't like going to the PO every day. Someone was nice enough to send me a PM and let me know that she had the same problems and when she put in all the demo info like email and such, it went through...I just tried and put in all of the optional info and it did get me a survey. I hope that it works for you as well!!

Ah ha! That's probably why I didn't have any problems yesterday. We always put in our email. I started to do them w/ the same rules as Greenfield just in case, except use 3 people each w/ our own email, me/dd/bf. I try first, if nothing, then dd tries. If bf is here then he tries. It usually works for us girls first though.

I was just going to come and ask the same question. We have 2-24 hour gyms that just opened near us. How crazy is that. I belong to the YMCA and I wonder if their rates are any better.

Did you try and put in all of the optional information? that is how I got it to let me into the surveys.

Yeah, you have to be near one of their gyms. There isn't one around our home but DH works near one so I "hooked him up" near his job. Very fast credit - not sure if it's immediate or on the hour because I did it about 5 before the hour.

I had already done a few of the offers including York and I passed on the Stamps.com. A couple of the oters didn't credit for me, but all in all, I earned an additional 6.55!:cooldance: Definitely helped pushed me over my goal for my April 1st cashout (for our May trip)!!:mickey: Thanks SR!!
