Research for Good Testing

For those of you who read my thread about the changes we are making to Research for Good, they are coming today!! I don't want to launch it full-scale until we have a few test surveys under our belts. So for anyone who wants to give it a shot, here are the surveys:

They range in payout from .50 up through 2.50. You can complete one of each a day, but it will definitely be harder to qualify for the higher payouts.

You should see credits pretty much immediately. So if you do not, please let me know and keep as much information on the survey you completed as you can!

It would not hurt to clear cookies, but you do not need to wait on anything else. They are all separate in our system and theirs.

Yes! The demographics are different in all of the categories. I'm seeing credits for 1, 2 and 5 right now but none for 3 and 4 yet.

Update: tried again-this time in Chrome-and was able to get the first level payout. And immediate credit which was nice to see. Nothing in the other four but at least it's an improvement.

Tricia I took RFG #2 shortly after 8pm it was about 15 mins long on ad's and no credit

Yes! We are going to set up a system for reporting these, but for now if you have one not credit, please email me with everything you know about the survey (including the final page if you can get it). Include the email address you took to use it, time of completion, etc.

It looks like about 10% of the surveys that they recorded as completions on their end did not get credited on our end. The good news is that they recorded them. I'll be manually crediting all of the ones from January soon.

We're going to do some research on our server logs now that we have isolated the exact surveys that didn't credit. There isn't any pattern in them--of the 12 that are missing from January, it's 10 different users, all 5 of the different surveys! So it's not a consistent issue. It's just a tracking issue that we have to figure out.

But I would encourage everyone to continue taking them. Even if they don't credit immediately, we will be able to import the missing ones later.

I got my missed one from January last night, thanks! I didnt get credit tonight for #1 so I am up to 5 missing for February

I never got into any over the weekend. I did the first one in IE (usually use FF) and it did credit immediately. No luck with any others even though # 2 has been green since I got home from work around 5.

I wonder if maybe i have fewer problems because I very rarely get into any except the first one. Tried # 2 tonight a couple of times. Both times it send me in to the same survey 5 times in row. different surveys an hour or so apart. Finally just gave up.

Great to log in tonight and see the credit! That is definitely a plus for Research over all the Lives and Greenfields I have lost out on over the last couple months.

Right now we have credited everything that they have reported back to us. For some reason yours are the only ones that are not showing up. There are some that are not crediting automatically, but we wrote a script to look in the logs of the site for those and credit within an hour. Right now, those are the only ones that we can fix.

We will get a full report at the end of the month of absolutely everything that went through their system so that we can check that.

Is anyone else still missing any?

My guess is that they will NOT add more surveys on the weekends. Besides me, most people in my industry do not work on the weekends. :) I think if they run out, there isn't anyone there to add any more.
