every time i click a MID offer, it opens and once i enter my e-mail addy and click continue, i get a white screen and at the bottom of the window a flashing "waiting for www3.myinsiderdeals" plus the rest of the addy alternating with "Done"...it all just keeps flashing down there, the window stays white and nothing ever happens. i've tried turning off my pop-up blocker, but that didn't help. does anyone have any suggestions? TIA! :sunshine:

no one has any experience with this, or suggestions as to what i might do to correct the problem?

I'm not sure why it's not working for you, have you tried the refresh button? Any MID's in particular? I just tried the Aveeno one (already did it before) but it came up just fine for me.

it's all of them. the aisleno7 deals do the same thing.

i just tried the aveeno offer you mentioned, and it's still doing the same thing-i couldn't even refresh the page. it's almost as if it's frozen, but it looks like it's not. you THINK it's trying to take you to the next page, even though it goes nowhere. i'm using IE and windows XP as well as norton internet security 2007, if that helps anyone.

I would try restarting your internet connection. They are working for me as well. Sorry.

it doesn' sound like an offer problem. It sounds like an internet/computer issue. It could be that your security is doing something to block those although I don't know why. I would try to clean my computer using ccleaner, avg and spybot and then restart everything including reseting your modem and see if that helps.

i'm not sure what to do about this. i've run ccleaner and adaware, turned off the windows pop-up blocker (i was certain there was one in norton too, but if there is, i can't find it) and nothing solves the problem.

That is strange.
Have you tried turning off your norton and your firewall? I know you don't want to run without them for any length of time, but just so you can see if one is interfering?

i appreciate everyone's suggestions :) i opened norton and tried turning off various parts to see what would happen when i tried to complete an MID offer. remember, when everything was on, i got the e-mail input page, then the registration page, then nothing. i turned off the norton auto protect and all was the same. i then turned off the firewall with the same result. i turned off the intrusion protection and put in my e-mail, then was directed to select an offer (no registration page). at that point, i was taken to another page to register and went through the offer to the silver, gold & platinum offers pages. so i guess we'll see if it credits-then i'll know it worked. i suspected all along it was a pop-up blocker hidden somewhere in the norton program and never considered it might be some other feature.

I hope you have it figured out! I know how frustrating it can be! When my old computer died, it took a while to figure out settings and everything for my new one too. I basically turned everything off and added it one at a time so I could figure out any problems or issues with crediting. Now that it is all correct, I don't want to see a new computer for a good long time, LOL!

LOL, i know exactly what you mean! when my computer died last spring and my mom gave me hers, i spent DAYS cleaning out all the junk she'd put on it and setting it up right so i could use it! now it's got a strange grinding/whining noise when i turn it on (just started a few days ago) but after about 5 minutes it quits, so until it dies, i'm using it, lol. thanks so much!

Glad you figured it out (hopefully). I was going to suggest you mess around with Norton. I had problems with it for years (not Sunshine related) and finally tossed it.

thank you! i hope it's fixed too :) it was a fast crediting offer that didn't credit on the hour, so it may not work at all, but i DID go through the offer to the end, so i know turning off the intrusion protection did SOMETHING.
