Thanks Tricia for the email, it almost made me cry.

I just couldn't make up for the problems in Feb to earn enough!

Yesterday was my one year anniversary with Sunshine Rewards, according to my account history, and it's wild to think of how much I've made, basically doing what I would have been doing anyway. :sunshine:

I have just about the amount I would have needed to make SM sitting in my Credit Hold section (oh if only I had made those purchases a month before I did, right?), so I'm already ahead of myself for next quarter, yay!

Anyone else? Or am I the only one who couldn't meet the mark this month? :p



(now that the gut reaction to not being SM has diminished, and the OTX surveys are being good to me, I've added to the title of the thread.)

You are in good company as there was a thread earlier today that quite a few people who didn't quite make it for this quarter posted to. I am sure they will be checking in here to let you know who they are. We will miss all of you as SM's but will see you again hopefully next quarter and other areas of the forum in the meantime.

Yes it was in the SM section. I would guess that probably 5-10 people at least are in the same boat as you because I was somewhat surprised. Jan-Mar. seemed hard for many and the Greenfield ban didn't help.

For what it is worth I can't get in to the SM board either anymore so Tricia must have closed it down until she sends out the new info and e-mails

I'm in your boat too! :( The "survey scandal" really threw me off, as did being out of town a couple of times and sick another couple of times. I only made about $80 this quarter, which really isn't all that bad anyway. I have to be careful with shopping right now because we are trying to buy a house so I couldn't push myself over that way. I do have a couple of things that I need to order soon, but I decided to wait on those since it wouldn't have been enough to make SM. So, those will be a nice boost towards the next quarter instead!

I'm sorry that you didn't make it, but I'm a little bit glad that I'm not the only one either. :p Good luck getting SM in Q2!!

I missed SM by about $15 - actually $5.00 less than my projected estimate thanks to a couple of manual credits today. SurveyGate, two vacations and illness took its toll.

I still think that is pretty good since I rarely shop or do offers that require a credit card. So, we'll come out fightin' tomorrow!

Same here :( I had been a SM for the past year and just couldn't get things together this time. With being sick , out of town, and the survey thing, it just didn't come together. "Surveygate" along with starting a full time job slowed me down and I wasn't even close to getting supermember status this quarter. Maybe I can buckle down and make it for next quarter but I can rarely qualify for a survey these days so chances aren't good. :( I still like earning whatever I can, even if it is just a little here and there.

Life has gotten in the way and I actually lost my SM status last quarter for the first time since the inception of SM status (to think I was one of the original SMs :( ) I made quite a rally in March but knew I wasn't going to quite make it. I am bound and determined to get there for July!!!

Although the daily surveys are not cooperating (until a minute ago I've had the same 3 options, none of which apply (and I wish they'd stop asking if I had an under 36 month old in the house...haven't they seen my shopping site request, don't they know I'm working on that? :rotfl:), for more than 2 days, maybe more than 3), and OTX wasn't playing well with others...I just got an AMP survey and it credited! :cooldance:

The great thing about SM status is that you never have to wait more than 3 months to get back in. :) The first quarter of the year is always the hardest in terms of offers, shopping, and surveys. The good news is that it gets much better in the second quarter!!

I've been ousted from the land of SM's too, I was really starting to get used to it after 3 quarters! The surveys killed me and I don't know why, but it was rare when offers even credited for me (even including some MID's!!) I would clear my cookies, delete my history and more times than not I wouldn't get credit. I"m hoping my luck will change this quarter.

surveys have been pretty hit or miss. I actually got one each day this weekend, but can't get one today here at work - it's telling me that I've exceeded the limit, even though I haven't taken a survey at all today and haven't taken a survey at work in at least 4 days. :computer:

I am out as well but I was not surprised at all. I was on here so much before our Christmas trip I was totally "burnt out". I don't think I have even done a survey since before Christmas!!

Heck..I do not even have a CLUE what anyone is talking about with Surveygate!!!

About the only things I have done in almost 4 months is clicks and finding the pot of gold. I wish I could find the motivation.

For a whole month almost all of us were locked out of daily surveys, b/c they had rules we needed to be updated on, and everything had to be ironed out. So now, in case you don't know, only ONE person in the household can take the Daily Surveys, and when you become a Super Member again, only one in the household can take the SM survey. No switching back and forth. And choose your email address well, b/c they don't like it when people change their email address.

But it all got worked out, everyone knows all the rules, and even though sometimes the surveys are hard to come by, it seems that overall there are more out there for us to take.
