I took advantage of the ebay offer on the home page and registered and placed a bid today. I was immediately outbid so I placed another bid on something else and, although I was the high bidder, it said that the "reserve" was not met. So...do I have to bid again to do the offer correctly?

I think you just have to make a good faith bid for the offer to credit. I think its a manual credit so it might take a day or two to credit. Just an fyi.

No you only have to place a bid to complete the offer, not win the bid. you should be good.

Its a manual credit and Tricia is out of town so give it some more time. Ebay is known for being slow so it could take 2 weeks. Just an fyi.

I have seen ebay take even longer then 2 weeks. But they seem to pay so don't worry if it takes awhile. You just have to place a bid. Not a winning bid so you should be good. That is a really nice offer isn't it?!

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the fastest reply to a post in internet history! That explains it...thanks for the info.

I am going to go there and give it a try. I love ebay but don't know if I want to set up a new email and account?
