We should all talk about the Instant Pot....

So I got one for SunshineGuy last year. It's because ever since we went to Aulani and they had a rice cooker in the room, he has wanted a rice cooker. But I thought it was dumb to buy something that only cooked rice. When I saw people loving their Instant Pots, I decided to get him one so that he could cook rice but we could do all of the other cool things.

So far....we've basically cooked rice. I really need to figure out some other ways to use it now that I have it. I use my slow cooker like twice a week but haven't gotten into the habit of using the Instant Pot.

For those of you who have one...do you use it?? What do you make in it?

This week clam chowder for my lunch at work.

I have made:
Lasagna
cheese cake
key lime pie
meatloaf
Wild rice soup
Tortilla soup
burrito bowls
sesame chicken
taco pie
Chinese fried rice
American Chop Suey
the best ribs I have ever tasted

can't wait for corn on the cob season, my sister says it's amazing; I got mine at Christmas so no corn yet

I recommend the Fat Daddio push bottom pan for cheese cakes, lasagna.

LOVE my IP.
