Walmart Shopping

Just wondering how the whole shopping thing works? I just made a small purchase from Walmart. And was wondering how it works?

you click on the link for the store on the SR website...
do your shopping

make sure you don't items in your cart from a previous visit to the store site.
make sure you don't browse a long time before checking out

in about 2 weeks you will see credit for the precentage back in your account
(Walmart is 1%) in a pending state...meaning the shopping is acknowledged, but you can't cash out that money until it goes from a pending to credit state (21 days for regular members, 3 days for super members)

If the items were already in my cart it won't go thru?
I made sure I went thru the link but the stuff was already in my cart

What I usually do is browse the shopping site...figure out what I want to buy (but don't put it in my cart).

leave the site. clear cookies...

login to SR, click through to shopping site, put things in my cart and checkout...

It isn't a definite that you won't get credit because the items were already in your cart...you may...it just as sure thing as it is when you only put items in your cart after clicking through SRs link.

If you don't see your credit in 2 weeks you can file a Trouble Ticket, and the SR team (Miss Angie usually) will work on finding out why you didn't get credit automatically.

Its a crapshoot. MissAngie and Tricia (the ones that deal with merchants and TT) have had lots of feedback from merchants saying no it won't go through if stuff is already in your cart. not sure how walmart works though.

I think Tricia and MissAngie have made a list of good tips and tricks for shopping in some of the stickies so make sure to read them when you get some free time. I know there is one for sure in the shopping section.
