i think i am totally and utterly losing what's left of my mind. i have been trying since 8 this morning to get a ds (no surveys available and no options) and since 5 this morning to get an otx (have reached my limit). what have i done that was so wrong that i can't even get one survey today? this is what happened to me on sunday - no surveys at all. i know it gets harder and harder to get a ds at the end of the month but this is ridiculous. any one have any ideas out there?:confused::computer::computer::computer:

If it makes you feel any better, surveys have been very hard to come by for me this month. You are not alone, but don't let it frustrate you. Maybe skipping a day here and there will help to replenish your energy or the surveys for which you will qualify.

This month has been very hard compared to the last several for me. In March, I completed 31/31. In April, I completed 29/30. In May, I completed 31/31. This month, surprising to me, I've completed 16. I think it's just time for me to step back and take a breather for a while. Maybe that's the same case for you?

I hope your able to find a happy medium for yourself.

Just when I think I'm going strong on a survey - I answer a question with the brand of cat food I use most, and get told that I didn't qualify for the survey. I had already answered quite a few questions about my cats and their food too. Go figure :confused:

Daily Survey asked for my 17 year old dd to take survey. She took it before work, and she just told me she completed it without the congradulations page back to Sunshine. So I guess we will see if it credits. I can only miss 1 more day before I am out of the $7 bonus.

You know what might be a good idea for you? Let yourself get on a late afternoon survey schedule that way you won't have to stress about it all day long. You can go ahead and do other things and not have to even consider doing surveys until later in the afternoon. It has been pretty freeing to not have to worry about even trying to get a survey until 7pm.

Have you gone back through to see if you can take another survey? If it lets you, it probably didn't go through enough to credit. If all you see is the line "is this your email address, if not click here" with no options, and the start button, then it probably will credit.

So I knew this one wouldn't go anywhere good. heck, the thing even said it would take 60 minutes, LOL. Just for fun I decided to go forth. Well I was only in it for a few minutes, and I guess I didn't meet their needs for some reason or another, and I was booted.

Now I have NO problem with that.

What I DO have a problem with is the wording they used (the bolded part is mine):

Holy cow, I can't believe it. Within 25 minutes this morning, I completed not only a daily survey but a super member survey as well. :party: They have been so hard to come by for me this month, I can't believe I got one let alone both!

Me too! I definitely had a lot more options this morning. Since I finished so quickly I logged in to see if DH could get one (SM) before he left for work. It was a 5 min one on our state's healthcare issues. He was shocked it was over so quickly!

Same thing happened to me on the auto care products. It thanked me for completing the survey but instead of taking me back to Sunshine it said 'sorry this page can not be displayed." It would have been number 25 for me so I was really looking forward to completing a survey quickly today so I could relax for a while! Now, of course, there are no surveys that I qualify for. Hopefully one will pop up soon and I will be finished for the month. :banana:

I got one about a constipation product for kids, nice, easy, short. But after it asked me classification questions, I was taken back to the page that says, it appears you did not qualify.:confused: Then I was fortunate enough to get another short simple one about wireless phones, maybe 3-4 minutes, and I did get the congrats page on that one!

That's exactly what happened to me today, too! I was truly baffled why I didn't qualify after completing the entire kids survey (and I took my time), but whatever. I ended up with the cellphone one too which was a piece of cake. I was worried I'd get the dreaded not qualified page but was happy to see a congrats page! :) That makes 15 for me this month. So I've made the smaller bonus. I'm happy with that.

Same here! I answered slowly and gave my thoughts on the product they asked me about, then they asked the demo ?'s, I thought I was done, to get the you do not qualify really baffeled me since I gave them my thoughts on their product!

I got this one also and same thing happened. After I gave them all of my info and my opinion on the product. THEN I got the survey about a new movie coming out. Went through the whole thing and it said thanks that my answers had been received etc.....but didn't take me back to the congrats page and I am still able to take a survey. ugh.....

There is a survey out there about TV commercials. After I saw the first ad, the survey no longer continued. It wasn't one of the time consuming ones where it stops after putting a lot of time in on it, but for someone on dialup, it could be a hassle.

You're not alone. My DH tried all last nught and again this afternoon but he is getting the same "No surveys available" message. No options to check off either. I know he is very careful about obeying "the rules" so I'm sure GF is low on surveys since it's the end of the month.
Even though he couldn't get a DS yesterday, he did get a SM which I found odd since they are GF surveys too.

I'm with you, had a TON of options yesterday got the one about kids and had to do another one, NOTHING today. No options what so ever. THankfully I made the big bonus already or I would be having a panic attack! lol I still want t he survey though bc I need to hold my spot on the big board!!!!! :)

I don't seem to qualify for any surveys lately, but today I got the child constipation product survey which was great since my youngest has had ongoing problems since birth. Their product really interested me, but after I gave my demographics at the end, it told me I didn't qualify. I hate when they get all of my thoughts on their product and then tell me I don't qualify because I wasn't part of the correct demographic group. Why can't they ask these questions first, before asking me to comment on their product? It is frustrating sometimes.:computer:

Greenfield has told us many times that if you don't qualify and get credit, they haven't gotten the information. So that makes me feel better when something like that happens.

And I've read several times that being booted out like that means usually that you went through it too fast. :headache:

I think you can go either way. I believe the reason it is reccommended you take your DS before the SM is that if you only get credit for one, the DS counts for more and it counts for the bonus. The SM just gets you the 60 cents. I always thought there would be a potential creditting issue there, but I guess if you have two different people taking each, it doesn't matter.

Well it looks like GF was doing something today! All day I had no options which was weird bc I had so many yesterday. I finished and took my survey around 2pm. If I take it before 8pm they'll let me in anytime the next morning (I'm guessing after updates around midnight). If I take one after 8pm I'm stuck on the late rotation. I didn't have any options until 8pm then I Had over a dozen! So for some reason even though my survey yesterday was at 2pm, they wouldn't let me back in until after 8pm and I did try throughout the day to see if I had any options.

So for any of you who couldn't get one before, try now!

If you haven't done one in a few days it really does pay to com and read this thread. Several of us have gotten "Burned" on that child constipation one.
Thankfully we all were able to get another one right after it.

What a bummer, I am trying to reach 10 surveys this month for the bonus and I need to do one today and one tomorrow. I just tried and it says there are no surveys for today, try tomorrow. Should I keep on trying, or does it really mean there are no surveys at all today?
I had such a hard time getting any in the first half of June , but have made up for it in the last half of June. I hope i can get one today and tomorrow.

Yep! Credits for Fri/Sat/Sun will show Monday, either 9:30am or 12:30pm

As for keep trying...yes. It just means there are none at the moment. There may be a ton in 5 minutes or 5 hours. Just have to keep checking back, it's all hit or miss :)

Also, if you don't fit into any of the options, try "None of the above." I get quite a few surveys that way.

I am right with you ladies...........this happened to me this afternoon and it said I finished and to hit the close buttom....well I did that and it closed me out completely....logged back on to SR and attempted to take another survey and it said I met my maximum.....so I guess we all find out tomorrow if it really does.........and I am at the point aht the last 5 days of this month my DS have to count for big bonus!!!!!!

Yes, a couple of us got this one Sat. morning and it took us both back to the SR forum, but not the congrats page and then neither on of us could take another, although I was able to much later Sat. evening. I have no idea if the first one will credit, but I'm sure hoping because I need every single one for the big bonus! Hope you get another one. When I checked back, I had no options and when I clicked start survey all I got was the Thank you for your willingness to take surveys, but there are none available now. lots of options today, but none that fit me. i DID get one earlier about a specific fast food restaurant, but it took me in circles 3 times so i finally figured out it wasn't going anywhere and closed it. now...nothing.

Did anyone get credit for Sunday? I received credit for Friday & Saturday but not Sunday. I finished a survey right before the site crashed for a little while (around 5:15 p.m.) but I had already rec'd the "Congratulations!" screen and once the site was back up I logged in again to make sure the site showed I reached my max (which it did). Well, I'm at the end of a 30 day trial of a face cream, that has required a couple followups (and I need to do the last one soon), but I only got SR credit for the first one. So from my experience, no it won't work that way, but since it's a different survey than the one I'm doing, who knows?:D

I had that one before with similar problems and it never credited. I think this was one that repeated questions over and over & I gave up!

On a different thread Tricia mentioned that there were many people who took surveys yesterday, and that might be continuing. Therefore, surveys might be getting filled quicker, which will cause their needs to change mid-survey.

Just keep trying, keep trying, keep trying. Take a break, have a snack, try again.

Well if you finished around 11, then I'm not sure that was the problem. I'm on the west coast, and if I finish after 9pm my time, I go into a twilight zone where it's not quite tomorrow and it's not quite today, and although the credit won't be seen the next morning, it WILL come through the following morning.

But I think you'd have had to finish at midnight or just after, to be in that twilight zone on the east coast. :o

Hmmm..............had 6 or 7 option this morning, only 1 of which pertained to me. It started to take me to a survey (no idea what survey) but instead of that I got a page telling me that I can only take this survey once. No clue as to what mysterious survey I was trying to retake, but now I have NO options, similar to what you'd get if you got a survey to credit. I just now finished a survey that turned out to be about tires...it was a Daily Survey through Greenfield, but was an OTX. Because it was OTX, I made sure to do the age thing (they seem to only look at YEAR, not month, so even though my b'day isn't until October, I put the age I will be then, to make it match up when they subtract birthyear from 2008), and it seemed to go through!

So be aware that just b/c you're going through Greenfield, be aware who the survey is from, so you can make them happy with your age (even if it hurts you, LOL) for the system that isn't up to speed.

At one point in the survey it even asked for my birth month, but STILL I wasn't booted for age reasons like I think I would have been if I'd put my current age on that first page of the survey.

I barely ever try for OTXs anyway, I almost never get them. It's lovely when I do get them, but just this week I've finished two of the OTXs that tell you that some people will get errors but they still get credit, and I got the errors and did NOT get any credit. I feel rather burned, b/c they were LONG surveys. I'll try for hours and hours throughout the day to get a DS, and now I can work for the SM surveys again, but OTXs, even though they are worth more than the SMs, just hurt my brain too much b/c of my history with them.

Long way of saying "it probably won't be an issue for me". :sunshine:


And now, since my SM surveys are on a very weird schedule, I have the rest of the day to go check out camping equipment at Target and pick up some boarding passes for our local Tall Ships festival! We live in a condo with a waterway view, and we've got the only Coast Guard sailing ship docked outside, with what Ds is calling a pirate ship docked right in front of the Eagle. Time for some fun, having gotten the DS out of the way so early in my day! (remembering that I'm on the west coast)

I finally got one, but I had been trying so long, I thought I had done an OTX survey. So, I have been impatiently waiting for it to credit. When it didn't, after 2 hours, I went over to OTX to see if I could do another. That is when duh! I realized I had done the Greenfield.

I did get in and it took me to a survey about meat and I had to enter information including my email address. I then had to go to my email and confirm. I never got taken back to the SR page, so if I recall correctly, this will not credit, right?

Yes but I am now a member of the my meat opinions!! It is unbelievable. GF sends me emails every day when they want me to do 3 follow up surveys yet they can not provide credit because they do not have the survey numbers. They sent the invites.... I have the numbers they won't answer the emails! UGH
They did answer a question about a survey that just stalled on me and I did provide the survey number. Their reply was that it was working properly and I must have tried at a busy time and do not worry there will be plenty more surveys. Yet when I emailed back and asked about the follow up surveys...no reply. I think they have more canned reponses than most sites!

FYI : Just finished a political survey that didn't take me back to SR and I can start another so I know it's not going to credit..

I just got this one too, and it did not take me back to SR. I saw your post, but MdCaterer posted about one on politics yesterday that did go back to SR. Not sure if we are all taking the same survey and why it credits for some but not others, but everyone watch out!

OK, so did anyone get the fast food DS that didn't take you back to the SR congrats page? This is the second day in a row this has happened. Yesterday, I gt the meat survey and after that was shut out of Greenfield and thus unable to take the SM survey. I'm not a happy camper right now!

i'm truly sorry you gals are having such problems with getting a ds. why not just take a breath, walk away from your computer for a while and eat some chocolate (the last one always works for me). then after a short while you can try again. i will keep my fingers and toes crossed for the both of you that you can each get a ds. have a great evening and keep smiling.:sunshine:

Thanks marcy. I don't get stressed about the surveys anymore, not since earlier this year when we were entirely shut out! And this month is going great with them.

I mainly mention troubles I have to either:

*report to you all of a troublesome survey to be avoided

*let those in charge know there might be a problem. The cycling was WEIRD and not normal, and especially since there have been issues the last couple days that did indeed need to be fixed, I wanted them to know!


Shortly after that, I got into a survey; no more endless cycling.

I had the food one too about doing future surveys. However, on the very last page it told me it had a link there for my convenience to see what they meant by the food diary I was supposed to keep. Anyway, Firefox couldn't seem to open it, so it closed my whole window! When I restored the session, it said, survey no longer available. I had taken the whole survey and just hadn't clicked the button on the last page that would have taken me back to SR. And of course, I couldn't qualify for any other surveys! I wonder if I will still get these other surveys it talked about?
Oh well, doesn't bother me to miss one survey - can't expect to get one every day all month, and I have tons of other things to stress about!!

lanny76, it would be very interesting if you did get the followup surveys in your email, and if you do let Tricia know. Because they keep telling us that if you don't finish it and you don't get credit for it, then no one got credit for or information FROM it. If they DO get info from it, then that's a pretty big deal.


And for anyone else who gets the food diary one, that line "for your convenience" is a document. I don't have word on my computer, so I can't open .doc things, but I could see the URL. :)

I'm sure it'll be fine, I just took the same one, got the congrats page and was logged in. I've seen where others get credit, if you can't take another one 9 times out of 10 it'll credit.

I took a survey on fast food and coffee and it did not bring me back to the SR page. I'm getting annoyed with the level of surveys that do not credit, as it seems to be extremely common!

i hate to say it but the only thing you can do is file an error report and maybe gf will look into it. sometimes they do and occassionally you may get the credit for a survey that did not go back to sr. are you able to get another survey or are you getting the message that there are no new surveys available? why not just take a break for a little while and try taking another survey later. i totally feel for you and understand your frustration as we have all been there. have a good day and don't let surveys get you too stressed out.:sunshine:

I just did a survey for about different types of meats that we eat and it asked about joing their community - I clicked ok and it never went anywhere. It said that I had to confirm the link in the email so I clicked on my email and the link and I was zapped off of the internet! So I am guessing no credit for that one!

I guess I should have checked here first thing and I would have seen that others have already had this same problem!

I definitely appreciate all of the hard work SR does to make this such a great site. I was just frustrated because that was the second time in as many days that a survey I took did not take me back to the SR page...(and not the only times this month either). Since there is no way to determine if the survey will credit or not if it doesnt take you back to SR's page, we must only assume that it will not, and have to take another survey to be sure to get our credits. Its just frustrating sometimes, you know?

Anway, I just finished one on some kind of universal media system that took less than 5 minutes! Now that's my kind of survey! :D

The way I've determined if it will credit or not is if the system will LET me take another. If it will, that other one isn't going to credit (I've never had a delayed credit in the way Tricia is talking about...the only double credits I've gotten were when I did a DS during the magic hours of after 9pm and before midnight Pacific time, and it gets lost in a vortex until 2 mornings later). If all I get is the "are you blahblah at email.com" and the button to click, then it's going to credit.

That's how I've determined what's going to credit, and FOR ME, SO FAR, it's been foolproof. For me, so far. :p

Yes it did got thru for me - I'm sorry it didn't for you. It is so frustrating to have that happen after you've done the survey.

It went through for me - I got the congrats page. I'll be watching for some of those products! Sometimes you don't qualify if you go through too fast, so try to read s l o w l y.

I just had an unusual survey, it took an hour, but was pretty cool and took me back to the congratulations page, I was concerned it wouldn't. The survey was about faucets and I had to participate in a live discussion group with a moderator asking questions. It was neat, and I am very glad I got the congrats page after an hour!

I couldn't get past the survey main page. When I clicked on the green box for taking surveys, I get a blank page that said loading but eventually timed out. I tried sporadically for about an hour then gave up. I've been doing better with surveys though - usually getting either the ds or the otx but rarely both. That's better than last month!

I had no problems taking a survey today - in fact I took both the DS and SM survey in about a half an hour!! I don't think I qualified for the first DS but got the second one and qualified for the first SM! Now tomorrow will be a different story!! I won't qualify for a survey all day!!!! I was doing a survey with commercials, and suddenly firefox said it couldn't connect with the server, so kaput went that survey.:computer: Then I got one later that was about autos, and joining an online community, which of course, didn't take me back to SR. Tried again, got one about faucets, but then it said it would be an hour survey that required internet explorer and I happened to be using Firefox, so pbbthh on that one too. And naturally, no more surveys available right now - so, later I guess!!:)

Maybe this has already been talked about but if you get a daily survey (Greenfield) and it directs you to an OTX survey, and you complete that, you will not be able to take the OTX survey additionally from the sunshinerewards link. Dh keeps getting the SORRY YOU'VE COMPLETED... message from the OTX link so that is our best guess. He's going to try the OTX link again later today so we'll see what happens.

What am I doing wrong? I've waited the 24 hours before taking the surveys, used ccleaner and etc. but twice this week my daily survey and sm survey hasn't credited. Lately i've been having trouble getting anything to credit. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i understand and totally empathize with your problem about surveys not crediting. have you recently changed your cookie settings on your computer? you might want to look at what you have it set on and set it to accept all cookies - i think it is the advanced button that should set that for you. see if that works and try again. if that is not the problem, i really don't know what else i can tell you to do. sorry.:sunshine:
