I'm starting this thread for people to post their experiences with daily surveys that do not work. If you run into a survey that you complete that does NOT take you back to Sunshine Rewards and tell you that you got credit, please post here with as much information as possible, including the URL of the last page that you land on. I can compile the information from this thread and pass it along to my daily survey contact so that they can take care of surveys that are not working properly.

As requested I am add this information for those who have survey questions about the general idea of taking surveys. Thanks to faithhope for compiling it. If anyone has anything they want added please PM me (Janet) and I will add it:

Credits Monday through Thursday Surveys will USUALLY credit the next day. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Surveys usually credit on monday. These credits normally come in by 9:30 AM EST but if Greenfield is behind it maybe closer to 12PM EST. Please do not panic if your surveys do not credit by 9:30AM.

You can complete one survey a day, so if you get a "sorry you don't qualify for this survey" message, try again, keep trying until you get to complete a survey.

If you complete a survey, try to take another one... If it lets you, then unfortuately you probably won't get paid for the survey you thought you completed - go do another one. :computer:

If you successfully complete a survey and try to take another one and it gives you a message about exceeding daily limit then you will probably will get paid - good job :sunshine2:

If you get a connecting to partner site message during a survey.. go ahead, greenfield has many partner sites that pay for surveys via SR

If you get a no more surveys available for you message, go back through SR and try again... they add surveys at all times, so keep trying even a minute later.

Unfortunately, using another email address or changing demographics (ie having another member of your household try to qualify) is no longer permitted and can result in bannation from GF and potentially SR. Ground rules are being developed on surveys and will be posted when finalized. Until then, please only use 1 email address per account and 1 set of demographics. Thanks!

There is NOT a strict 24 hour time limit (it used to be so... but not anymore). so go ahead and try before your 24 hour time if you need to for any reason... you will either be allowed to take another survey or you will get the exceeded limit message.

Please do not submit TT to Sunshine Rewards for survey credits. SR is not able dispute credits. SR has instituted the new link on the bottom of the survey page if you run across any surveys that give you error messages. Posting about issues here will NOT get them resolved by Greenfield

Update from Tricia - 7/10/08

Sometimes someone besides GF hosts the survey. In that case, you do NOT get taken back to SR at the end. And you do NOT get your credit the next day. But within a couple of weeks, you will all of a sudden get an extra credit in the day.

A lot of people will post things like "Somehow I got two credits for yesterday but I only took one survey. What's up with that?" It's because the delayed credit was imported by GF.

It doesn't ALWAYS happen that way, but it does happen every month. So sometimes it works out but just takes a bit.

I have problems with the following surveys not directing me back to the SR site after completing them, and not crediting:

Ciao survey on tom tom
Survey on new idea for hand held personal computer device
Survey on Dunkin Donuts vs. McDonald's coffee

Unfortunately, I do not have the URL of the final page, but I will make sure to get it if I experience the problem again.

Here's a complaint that I got this morning:

I just took this survey and it took almost 10 mins of my time, I answered all the questions about diet drinks, then asked me questions for informational purposes after I answered all questions, then told me I did not qualify AFTER I completed the survey...here is the link

I wish I saw this post earlier this morning, then I would have been able to jot down the URL info. I had a survey that took over 15 minutes before it said I didn't qualify. It asked a ton of questions about Vanguard.

Another problem survey. My husband was doing one on online security and different features that could be offered (one time cc, anon email, etc) and just when the survey should have completed it went to a greenfield "survey outage" page.
Here is what the page said:

The system is temporarily unavailable. Please check back shortly.

We are performing system maintenance to improve your future experiences at SurveyCenter.

So I guess another one that I won't get credit for? :(

Maybe not. I've had a number of people in the last couple of weeks report back to me that they got an error at the very end of a survey and then their credit actually did show up the next day.

I think I did this one yesterday. Have the credits for then been loaded? If so, I didn't get credit for it.

I am not that worried about it, but I wouldn't want others doing it until the issue (if there is one) was resolved.

My husband tried to take the daily survey (he tends to have better luck qualifying than I do!!) - first time he spent about 10 minutes, then got an error page - that one was about new technology, then he tried again, this time it was about pain/medication (nielsen entertainment) and after 10 minutes was told he didn't qualify. Unfortunately I didn't notice this thread before, but from now on we'll make note of the last page url! :computer:

This was wierd.....

I went through about 10 surveys or so this morning and was just not qualifying. I did complete (what should have been MOST) of one survey, asking if I have been diagosed with any of the following, etc. Then, I received a message that I have exceeded my daily survey limit...???? Huh?!?!!?!?

It will be interesting to see if I get a credit for today, since technically, I never received a notice that I successfully completed the survey...!

I am so aggravated! First, like others today, I did the Ten Thousand Villages survey. Nothing. Just hung up and didn't take me back to SR.

Then DH went through a technology study -- answering many questions about our preferences and thoughts on technology, took about 10 minutes to complete, and it came back to the SR page saying you didn't qualify. WTH??!

So I kept at it, wanting to get one in today, and just completed a survey on moving companies. I am so tired & disappointed now that it hung up at the end and brought me to a blue screen. Here are the URLs of the last 2 pages. It even said thank you for completing, please give us your phone and email since your replies were so valuable we may want to contact you again.

SunshineGirl

It's possible that some of these will still come through as credits. I did an automobile lease one today where after about 10 minutes of asking me about all of my cars and financing, they finally told me that I didn't qualify. I'm not going to do another so that I can see if that one credits. If not, I'm definitely going to add it to the growing list of problems that we have seen over the weekend that I send to Greenfield tomorrow.

I just got that one tonight. It made me mad. Not as mad as this stupid zyrtec one. Its a real survey so far but it is just too detailed and long. I mean reading 20 pages of descriptions for zyrtec then ranking all of those statements and now picking apart what ideas they might be conveying. It is way more than the 20 minutes they said it would take. i'm closing that one down. It is not worth 75 cents.

I just took the Nielsen survey and before the survey ended I got a "thank you for taking part in this survey" page which I printed. I had to rate the survey for use of my time and then one more page before I got to the Greenfield confirmation page.

When I got to the end Greenfield told me I did not qualify!!

What's up with that??? Nielsen said I did..........Greenfield said I didn't. Granted, it was only a 5 minute survey........but don't tell me I qualify and then say I don't. :computer:

From what I understand, the survey company is concerned about people not spending the full amount of time on the surveys, and the surveys are meant to take about 20 minutes.

Now, the way that they are deciding to give credit or not is a little weird. If you are just fast at surveys and are HONEST that it only took you 5-10 minutes, you may not get credit. But if you do it fast and lie about how long it took (which I do not advocate), it sounds like you DO get credit.

I think this is a bug that they need to work out because it is definitely causing some problems.

lrsellars
06-01-2007, 12:24 PM
Looks like Nielsen must have a problem with all of their surveys. The Ambien one that I did some time back was by Nielson and it started off advertising a movie and then went into the drug. Never did make it back to the completed screen. As I continued to do surveys, any time Nielsen came up on the screen, I immediately exited out of it and tried another one.

I really liked the universal remote. I'd like to have it!!!!!

No Kidding. It only took me about 5-10 minutes.......so that's what must have happened. Dumb if you ask me.

I do read really fast......my family freaks when they loan me a book and I hand it back to them the next day.

On the other hand......I have done surveys (a different company I belong to) that have taken me 30 minutes. They just seem to go on and on.....asking you the same questions by changing the words around. Like I am going to change my answers cause they phrased it differently!!

it asks you ALL the questions, then says sorry this survey is full, and then sends you back to sunshine as non qualifing.

OH my gosh, I have to read here before doing ANY surveys.

Started with the demographics, went into a survey for which I'm well qualified for (coffee bevvies), went ALL the way through, then (paraphrasing) 'these questions are for something or other purposes', what's your date of birth, education, and income level (which they HAD already, or should have had), then:

http://surveys.ipsos-or.com/wix/p55387462.aspx

"Thank you for sharing your opinions!
Unfortunately, the quota group that you qualified into is complete, so on this occasion, we thank you for your time but will not be asking you to complete the remainder of the questionnaire."

Not cool.

The hubster took the day off b/c I was up until 4am cleaning our old house, and he knew I wouldn't be at my best with DS. Yay for hubby (and for his job which is OK with that).

So I had him try to take some surveys, and he got the Ipsos one as well. So now we have more copy/pastes and info for you.

first asks if you work for xyz companies, then age, then "is your income above, or below 20K, then you do the survey.

Then the clever little line..."Please answer the following questions about your household composition for verification purposes only."

Birthdate, educational level, and zip code. And he was kicked out, too.

They have those things from the start....

Though hey, are there just bunches of people taking these surveys from Tacoma, WA? If so I'd like to meet 'em! :)

Hope the extra info helps.

SO frustrated right now. I tried five different surveys this morning and didn't qualify for any of them, then got to a page from SR I've never seen before. It said "sorry, you don't qualify for any surveys." Is this normal? Has anyone else seen this? Hopefully I can still make my 25!

Unfortuately... it is normal... I see that message frequently... I'm hoping they will load new surveys to try during the weekend... it means you have tried all the ones they have to offer for your stats. If you have another person in the house, you can get them to do a survey. I'm going to see if I can get my hubby to do one.

Are the survey credits supposed to appear on your account the day after you complete the survey? I completed one on both June 1st and 2nd and have not received credit. Can someone help??

Surveys do not credit automatically.

Surveys done on Friday, Saturday & Sunday usually credit on Monday.

Monday -Thursday usually credit the next day.

Hope that helps!

More frustration...I wheedled my boyfriend into taking one for me and he actually got one about cars! He was about 11% through it and it froze up on him. He refreshed the page and it said it had timed out and wouldn't let him go further. So he restarted the browser and tried again, but the site said he didn't qualify for any surveys now. :computer: Guess I'll try tomorrow! At least I got the paid click and an offer!

FYI, here is the link for the frozen survey.

I just took a survey for the first time in about 10 days. I went thru the entire survey to the log out page, and it didn't take me back to the "Congratulations" page. Instead it took me to the Sorry page.

I know I completed the survey...it said so. Plus, I viewed about 6 ads, answered at least 8-10 questions about the Jenn Air ad, and I answered about 4-5 questions about Roomba. There is no way i didn't qualify for this one!

It was Princeton National 2006 and it was about advertisements for Jenn Air and Roomba. Here is the last page I was on.

This is the EXACT one that I just took this morning and this is a first for me! I think I spent at least 25 minutes answering questions....Ralph Lauren Paint, Jenn-Air and I know I finished it but just got a thank you page and it did not take me back to SR. I know for a fact that this survey does not pay because immediately after this one, I qualified for another and finished with a Congratulations!

After not qualifiying for approx 8 surveys (including one that took longer than I thought it should to not qualify), I got into a Greenfield survey about Crest Pro Health. I did the entire thing then got to the question about how much time you spent doing the survey. AFter answering that, I got a page that said the browser was trying to close the page then I lost my internet connection so I never got the credit page. Will I get credit for this or was my time wasted? This was at about 9:20 pm CST.

Thanks for your help.

I just went back to the surveys and I didn't get credit as it allowed me to try 3 more times before telling me there were no surveys available to me.

After trying about8 surveys I finally got into one for facial tissue. The last page did not take me back to the congratulations page, but rather went to a page that said thatk you and had a box to clik to close the window. I tried refreshing a couple times, but the only thing available to do was close the window, which closed the entire page, so I won't see credit for this one.

Don't do the facial tissue survey!!

Did you get your credit? I think that the system is set up to allow you to take multiple surveys even though you may have qualified and completed one. You will only get credit for one survey but you can take as many surveys as are available to you. So, when you completed the survey, you may still have surveys available to you. You just won't get credit on any others you complete.

Hmm, I don't think that's right. When I've done one early in the morning but have forgotten, and go back to take another, it tells me that I have already taken mine for the 24 hour period and to come back later.

Another sneaky survey. Reelresearch again, with the penguin-of-doom. :) About Puffs, it seems. After the "rank the use of your time" and "how long did this take you" questions, it said "thank you", I clicked forward, it said something else like thank you, another forward button, then it took me to a "close window" page. Sighing, I clicked to close the window (the button on my Safari browser actually read "close window") but it never closed.

Eh, that's OK, they don't want my thoughts on tissues with germ-fighting chemicals on them anyway, b/c I would never ever buy such a thing!

Tricia, in case you can do anything about these, it is a survey from Greenfield on Crest Pro Health Mouthwash. You have to watch a commercial on the new Crest Pro Health rinse and evaluate it.

Answered an entire survey worth of questions (10-15) minutes and then at the end took demographic information and then told seemingly everyone that took it that they didn't qualify. :computer:

I'm glad (in a way) to hear that everyone else who took this survey had the same problem b/c my husband did it and was plugging away and then when I came back in after he finished it, it was on the "Sorry you don't qualify" screen, and I told him he must have screwed it up somehow

Yesterday definitely looks like it was a crappy survey day. We had half the number of completions that we had on Saturday, and even 40 less than we had last Sunday. About 20 people have already hit the 10 survey bonus. About another 25 are right there with 9. I don't know how some of you are doing it! I didn't qualify at all on either Saturday or Sunday. Im not sure why it did that to you guys because I took this one on Saturday and got to the completed page and got credit. I also had that silly work clothes survey yesterday but made it through somehow and got credit. All is not lost there is hope for some of these survey. I am so sorry that some of you are having some major issues. I seem to have been having some luck since we started using DH demographics. Here is some Pixie Dust that the rest of the week surveys go much smoother for everyone.

I have only managed to get 3 so far this month. Usually I only get a few that tell me I don't qualify and then it goes to the no survey available message most days. Many days it doesn't even give me any before the no survey available message. I do check back throughout the day also. I probably won't even make it to the 10 for the month.
I got my DH to agree to a mom's only WDW trip and I need the credits.lol

The only time that I can take trouble tickets is if we have system-wide problems with certain surveys and then I talk to the survey people about getting credits in advance of telling everyone to file the tickets (as opposed to the "dispute" process we have for getting credits on individual offers for specific people with everything else that we do). If you can't get another survey today and we see a bunch of problems come out of the maintenance they did today, I may be able to get some credits for people.

Does that make sense? It's really backward of how we usually get credit for people when things don't work.

You can only do one survey every 24 hours. So if say you do one at 5:30pm today, you can't do another one until after 5:30pm tomorrow.

It's NOT per calendar day....like one survey on 6/11, one on 6/12, etc.

Tricia,

Apparently they haven't fixed the router problem after all because I also got that message several times this morning and some really wacky survey starters. Like it only lets you enter in age and it denies you. There was one that was a pop up survey and wanted you to install something so that they could scan your computer for browser information. I closed it right there cause that seemed really strange to me. Just an FYI!

jnorth1007
06-12-2007, 10:26 AM
I think that part of it is a result of everyone who does surveys zooming through the surveys without giving thoughtful answers. I think they are trying to find ways to filter out people better but I think they are falling wayyyyyyyyyyyy short of their goal. Instead of making sure that people are actually providing useful, factual information they are frustrating the people who actually do just that. I guess the days of easy surveys are close to being over. Don't get frustrated. I know its annoying but they are accepting all of the feedback Tricia is giving them and I think that they will correct some of these issues. Keep tryin! :sunshine2:

Hi Tricia,

I just spent about 15 minutes completing the Olive Garden survey, qualified, answered a million questions about soup and breadsticks/salads, filled in personal details at the end and it didn't bring me back to your page - instead it launched into another survey that appeared to be intended for doctors about diseases. I'm 11 for 12 after tonight's survey. I missed one last week because Greenfield was down for maintenance and I was never able to access the site. I've had surveys that last five minutes (one on Walmart) and some that go on and on for 20-30 minutes. I've learned that if any survey comes up from the Phoenix group I can count on it lasting at least 25 minutes!
If I don't qualify (which happens a lot), I try my DH's info or my oldest DD. Usually one of them will qualify for a survey. I then turn the computer over to them to complete it.

We've actually gotten credit for them before when it didn't send people to our site at the end. Something about the string that is used when you click on the link is what determines who gets paid. But if you don't want to chance it and do another survey anyway, then we may not be able to tell.

Hey guys! It seems we have alot of posts about daily surveys, which is GREAT, that means everyone is super involved and excited for the bonus. I just wanted to ask in the interest of organization and to help me keep my sanity if you guys could keep all of the daily survey posts confined to the daily survey sticky in the technical forum. This will help in locating posts, I try to find an answer and go back to answer and cant remember which survey thread it was in, and also so that Tricia can see all problems with surveys in one thread. This way she can report problems and not have to search around for the issues. This also will keep things more organized. We wont have survey threads in every forum of the board. Sometimes I feel like I'm having de ja vu reading a thread I swear I thought I just read a little while ago. Im getting older help me with my sanity :rotfl: This also will give you one place to check before doing your daily survey to see if any of them are problem surveys that you can avoid. Thanks you guys!!!! :sunshine2:

ETA: I have merged all of the daily survey threads together so that you only have one thread to check HTH!

Not a vent, but a "hey that was a good survey" heads up. Yesterday DH got a survey about health records and a new idea for keeping them up to date, and it was good. It really seemed to be opinion-based, not "are you answering these questions the want we WANT you to", like some of them seem (interesting way to conduct surveys IMO). So if you get it, it was interesting, it went through for DH, and credited this morning.

I don't see how those surveys could possible take 20 minutes. The last time that picture of a Penguin came up I knew I wouldn't get any credit for that survey so I checked that the picture I saw was a Bear, like that really showed them. :p

THAT is too funny!!! I love it.

I read Tricia's post on the Neilsen problem and the next time that penguin reared it's ugly head.... a 5 minute survey took me 20 to complete! Guess what?? I GOT CREDIT! Now I'm 1 for 15 with them.

I took the greatest survey today. All it asked for was my zip code. I typed that in and it asked me to push the button to be directed to the survey partner's site. I did. It said, 'Thank you for your time and answers. Please press submit to complete the survey.' I did and I fully expected to see that I did not qualify. Instead it said I received credit! And the only thing I answered was the question about my zip code!

I feel I deserve that one, though, since I get a lot of "No survey" messages and surveys that have me answer 25 questions only to find out I don't qualify at the end! Those are the most frustrating!

Anyone do a fiber survey today? We were going through it, watching an ad, and the ad screen went black. I clicked the play button on the little Java screen, and it said "number of plays exceeded", but it won't go anywhere. I press "continue", and it says to watch the video before I click continue. I had watched the ad! It was truly almost done when it went black. :(

If that's happened to anyone else, let's let Tricia know. But maybe it was just a one-time thing.

I ended up forgetting to do a survey yesterday. There were none available, and then later once DH got home and he and DS were making dinner as I was about to look for more surveys, DS burned the heck out of himself (1st and 2nd degree, poor kid), and we spent the next 3 hours in the ER!

Obviously DS is OK otherwise I wouldn't be worried about surveys.... but it sure did wipe out my memory that I was supposed to do a survey last evening!

Oh, and the one thing that got his mind off of pain and the boredom of being in the hospital (and the difficult questions related to the last time he saw his grandpa was in a hospital bed :( ) was talking about Disneyland! And all the rides we were going to go on. :)

Sorry to blather.

Hope the fiber survey doesn't black-out for anyone else!

24 Hour Rule -
Tomorrow I'll be able to answer one of my own questions about the 24 hour rule. I usually wait to start a survey after the time I started one the day before. I did one yesterday from 2:38pm-3:05pm. Today was 2:41pm-2:47pm. Now - is the 24 hours from the time you start or the time you finish? We'll know if I don't get credit, it's based upon finishing a survey not starting one. I forgot to answer my questions slowly in order to finish after 3:05pm so we'll see.

Sorry if this has been posted before - I couldn't find the answer.

Does anyone know if this month's survey contest aggregates? What I mean is, if you do 25 surveys and get the $5 bonus, do you also get $3 because you did 20 and $1 because you did 10?

Thanks in advance!

Yay! I just completed my survey for the day. So far I have qualified and been credited for a survey every day this month. Wooohoooo! I feel lucky lol too bad I like my money too much to go to a casino. Ill just have to settle for this margarita from dinner and the risk I take on getting accepted into a survey everyday. :rotfl:

I was feeling pretty smug about getting one everyday and then they turned on me...
but I'm still 13/14. Sunday I spent ALL day trying to get one to no avail.

I feel so bad about all the trouble today  :hugs:

I did the HDTV survey too. My problem, however, was that I spent 25 minutes answering questions and was then told I did not qualify for the survey. I still don't understand how I can answer all of their questions, complete the demographic questions at the end, spend over 25 minutes on the survey, and then get the "We're sorry but you didn't qualify".

I took a survey on Wednesday June 13th regarding sports drinks. Most of the questions were about propel water with fruit flavors. It did not give me the link to get back to the Sunshine Rewards website. I have not recieved credit as of yet. Unfortuneately, I do not have the url. Is there anything that I can do to still get credit?

Mine was about athlete's foot. The last page I got had only one word "QUALIFIED." Link: http://sms.surveyrouter.com/end.aspx?flag=1&l=9&mode=tprod

But it was quite obvious that I hadn't gotten credit because I never got the "congrats" page and when I tried to take another, it let me right away. I can't help feeling like I'm wasting my time here sometimes. I've been cat-sitting and away from home, so I made a special trip back to take a survey and this is what I get. Frustrating. :computer:

i just did the exact same athlete's foot one, mine also said, oka now some stats questions...answered all of them. next page only said qualified....never directed me back to sr at all. what happens if we try to get in a new survey because i don't know if i will get credit for it.

I'm so frustrated! I try to do the daily survey most days and out of those I've only gotten 1 survey to go through to completion for credit. I was able to complete a second one FINALLY yesterday - but it didn't credit.

But aside from those 2, I never "qualify" for any of these stupid surveys! I try 5, 6, or 7 times some days and I always get 25%-50% through and it comes up with "sorry you didn't qualify, click here to start another survey" and at that point with the questions they've asked, they've gotten plenty of info out of me so it benefits them, but then I get booted from the survey and can't get credit!

Any tips? Is it because I'm too young (23) and that's not the demographic they want? Or are other people having this issue to? It would even be a small consolation prize that if you try 6 or 8 times and keep getting rejected to still get thrown 5 or 10 cents for all the effort you're putting in. It just really sucks!

I just completed one on yellowpages.com which didn't bring me back to SR when completed. I don't know if I should try to complete another one (I need to do a survey every day for the rest of the month to get the bonus). Update: I just tried to do another one and it says that I've exceeded the daily survey limit. I hope that means that the credit will go through.

Have a good day everyone!

If you did a survey yesterday it won't credit until Monday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday surveys do not credit until Mondays.

I feel your frustration though! I have had good luck in getting surveys to credit when they are completed but my problem is getting to completion on them. So many of them will ask a TON of questions and then say you don't qualify or some will freeze or have errors in them  It took me over 30 minutes to find one I could complete to the end last night - grrrrrrrrr!!!

I stopped trying to do them every night. Now I just do them a couple days a week and hope for the best!

Geez!!!!! A few times today I tried to take surveys and when the first question was "Do you agree to give honest answers, blah, blah, blah" I clicked on "Yes, I agree to provide honest answers....." Guess what???? I was instantly disqualified!!! Do they want us to lie? Or is this just a fluky survey? I wish I paid attention to http address so I could have cut and pasted it.

I guess I should be happy they don't wait after 20 minutes to tell me I'm disqualified, I just think it's funny that agreeing to provide honest answers is the reason I'm being disqualified! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Of course, I don't find not being able to take a survey as funny. Maybe I should answer the opposite the next time I get this and see what happens! lol

Having trouble with surveys this morning (1:30 AM). Can't get beyond the info page. I have been trying for over half an hour but no luck. I've already missed two surveys (one due to Greenfield's maintenance) and can't afford to miss another one with 14 days still left in the month.

As far as I know, and in my experience, the "exceeded daily limit" message comes up when it hasn't yet been a full 24 hours since you did your last survey. It's on a 24 hour cycle, rather than a midnight to midnight cycle, it seems.

Therefore, once it has been 24 hours since you did your last survey, you can do it again. For me, this means it's getting later and later, and I thikn I'm going to have to miss a day so I can be sure to get sleep, as it's taking longer and longer in the day to GET one.

Does anyone else think they are slowly going insane by the slightly-changing-each-time "read this thoroughly, don't do it in an unreasonable amount of time, do you agree to this and that, or do you agree or not agree" pages that greenfield is showing us? I'm a bit of a speed reader, so to try to slow down and not do it in an "unreasonable" amount of time is driving me mad. My brother couldn't do it...the boy can read a full Stephen King novel in a DAY, and comprehend and remember it...anything requiring reading for him is done in an unreasonably short time! :rotfl:

How many questions should they be allowed to ask you without giving you credit for the survey?

After 4 no-thank yous today, I finally got one that I thought was going to work. The link was http://survey8.greenfieldonline.com/wix/p40342498.aspx

I answered at least 6 or more questions about where I eat and how often. They then said I did not qualify. It seems like they are getting a lot of information without having to give the credits. Do you know if this practice is legitimate? It is very frustrating.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, they kind of have a monopoly on the daily surveys. So they can pretty much do whatever they want. The good news is that I really think that they are trying to make changes to the system to both cut down on people skimming through them (so that they continue to get lots of advertisers) but also put some standards into place that weed people out sooner so that the advertisers are not getting so much free information. Remember that if we don't get paid for the survey, it means that Greenfield isn't getting paid for a completed survey either. They're working on some new things, and I think we should see them in the coming month or so.

I think dh just completed the most insane survey yet. It was about ink pens. Note that I said *Ink Pens*. You'll need this tidbit of info in a bit.

Some of the statements that dh had to rank included "A woman's place is in the home", "The only reason to drink is to get drunk" and the most random one . . . "Fresh vegetables are better than frozen" :rotfl:

The survey companies have officially lost their minds.
