I love flag day, my little town has flags flying everywhere! In 2002 my oldest son did his Eagle Scout project on Flag day. He did a flag retirement ceremony for the city. There were so many old flags that had been flying since 9-11 that needed to be disposed of properly, remember don't just toss them in the trash!. It was a beatiful ceremony. If you ever need to know the proper way to dispose of a flag we would be glad to let you know. Or even if you have a Scout troop that would like to have one let me know and I can send you the script for the ceremony.
