So a can of Coke exploded in my work bag, and I don't know if it'll survive the cleaning (sidenote-it's a Herve Chapilier I got from eBay with my college graduation money-it's cleaned up like a champ everytime it's needed to over the past two years, has worn well, and handles all the junk I throw in it-so worth the money). So I may need a new work bag. I like something slightly dignified, and it needs to hold my lunchbox (which is pink with a butterfly on it-hence the dignified bag).
I'm thinking of either the Metro or Messenger bag from Vera Bradley via eBags. I also like eBags laptop tote (http://www.ebags.com/ebags/savvy_laptop_tote/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=88831). I'd like something less "college student" than a normal messenger bag.
I don't use leather, and I'm magnetic closure phobic (killed a palm pilot that way). Any thoughts?

Probably not along the lines you're looking at, but hubby got an Osprey brand bag he loves. I know they sell some on ebags, and while he got a bigger one (Elroy) to carry his laptop (and sometimes two laptops, ugh) I think the Astro is adorable. They are very cute IMO and clip closed, and are made of recycled materials, which is fun. :p

Oh, I like the one that you have in your link! I'd take that in RED! :)

I like the slimmer looking bags that look more "business-y". But I usually carry my lunch bag separately so I don't know if these ones would be roomy enough for you or not.

They definitely aren't "college" looking either, IMO :)
