Is there any speculation of a special Disney cashout coming up? We haven't had one in awhile... and they are so much fun! (I missed the last one)

I know the Sunshine Family can't say if or when, but sometimes they hint in chat or other threads. Has anyone seen anything? Inquiring minds want to know!

Unfortunately, we do not have one planned at this time. People just aren't doing enough shopping through us for us to have the revenue stream to buy them in the bulk that we would need. :(

Aw Tricia, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully people will remember to use SR for spending those stimulus checks!

I so enjoy the special cashouts, and I really hope they come back. Guess it makes the Super Member perk more valuable.

Thanks for the update Tricia. Bummer that there isn't more shopping going on. This downturn in the economy is really taking it's toll I think:( I know it is for our family. DH owns a small business and times are just kind of scary right now.

Now for the big decisions, to cashout or wait. I guess I can't go wrong either way, Disney money is always good:rotfl:

I am also with the minority that is just waiting till august to cash out for Disney. Hopefully the economy will come around a bit.

Thanks for your honesty and the heads up, Tricia.

If we continue with our summer vacation plans, I'll be cashing out soon. If not, it looks like I'll have some extra $$'s for Christmas spending! :cooldance:

Maybe a small shopping contest will pump up the shopping? I know I always love a contest...even if the prize is a SR bag or pad. Competition is always a way go get me involved!

Didn't you once have a contest that involved how many of the new stores you shopped at? Like you got a bonus for shopping at 1 - 3 of the listed stores and then it increased when you shopped at more of the stores.

Might get people to look at the new merchants and boost the shopping levels overall.

You could use the same idea with just about any category of stores. So a list of those offering free shipping. Or those offering food. Etc., etc., etc.

We'll I have cut down on my shopping lately but then started reshopping online again. I actually just shifted what I was buying. Less clothes more food/toiletries from drugstore.com and stuff. I really really need some new shirts so I'll try to shop at Nordies for those.

Just back from doing some running around town. With gas nearly $4/gal, even my small car burns alot of money. I figured I spent around $8, today, just hitting Walmart, the girls' schools, and emissions testing center. Makes drugstore.com look better all the time.

I hear that about gas prices. It's pretty much cheaper to just pay shipping!

Alright, I helped the team. I told DH he had to let me buy him a new pair of work shoes! :rotfl: April I was picturing your Shoebuy videoblog the whole time I was shopping!

LOL, I'm just mad I didn't have my dress shoes to model and Erin was in a mood so she wouldn't do the retake. Don't forget to vote again in round 2!

I just made a purchase the other day at Children's place and amazon, looking at Scholastic now for summer reading..... :)

Okay I helped out...I bought 2 new eyeliners from Sephora! I really needed a pencil because the liner fell out of my current one- talk about PAINFUL application! I bought a new liquid for the heck of it.

In the past week I've hit up eyebuydirect (DH accidentally broke his glasses in half :( ), Paws Up, Ebay, and Lamps Plus.

Doing what I can to stimulate the economy and stimulate the SR Disney card fund!!

Come on people, SHOP! :rotfl: I certainly have done my share lately, geez louise. I'm broke and we still have tires to buy for DH's truck. I wish I could get cash back on THOSE puppies.

I totally understand though Tricia and thanks for your honesty. I am going to let my account build until the end of August, for my Sept trip. Hoping for $250.:minnie:

I think you can buy tires at sears.com can't you ? I thought I saw Tricia say you can buy online and pick up in the stores now for Sears.

The link on sears thru SR says in store pick up 'not' included. Tricia, can you confirm which it is? If I can get 1% back on tires picked up in store (and then installed) I will talk with DH about doing this. Their prices are decent.

I need tires also and have been thinking the same thing - wish I could get credit from SR.

I was trying to find the post about this, I could have sworn there was one a couple days ago where Tricia said they now allow in store pickup, but I can't fnd it.

Of coarse if you can wait a few extra days it does say gift cards get cash back for Sears, you could buy a giftcard online and use it to pay for tires.

I was asking about a washing machine and this is the thread about Sears I was pointed to: thread (http://www.sunshinerewardsforum.com/showthread.php?t=8558)!
