Cookies question

I get so confused as to when to clear cookies.

I've read where you should clear them before doing OTX surveys, but if you've done offers for which you haven't yet received credit, will clearing the cookies before doing the OTX survey mess up the offer credits?

In general, is there a rule of thumb for when to clear cookies? :confused:

I've been clearing mine once a day, when I'm closing my computer down.


But if I'm doing offers (and I generally stick with the fast crediting ones) I'll do it, wait for it to credit, clear everything and do another etc. That's if I'm in the mood to do more than one in a day.

I rarely try OTX right now, but when I do try, the cookie clearing from the night before does the trick. I *believe* that what you're clearing is the previous day's OTX cookie, thereby allowing you to get a new cookie from them (mmm, cookies). As far as I know the other stuff you might do doesn't hurt your chances with OTX (but as I mentioned, I'm in a mode of rarely trying for it right now).
