The apples are coming!

My Mother's Day gift (that I bought for myself FROM DH) is going to be delivered today! My mouth is watering and my knife and plate is ready for the delicious Mrs. Prindables apples! I was able to track the order, and it took off from Findlay (about 15 miles from my house) this morning around 5 am. So....I will be UNpatiently waiting today for my delivery!

Kind of silly to get so excited about an apple! :rotfl: Yet....I am!

Well...right after I posted the last post, the door knocked! And guess what is here! My apples!!!!! Haven't opened the box yet....But...I am going it!

I now wish that I videotaped me eating it. I have never in my life had a juicier apple. I am an apple snob. Only like crisp, tart, cold, juicy apples. Granny Smiths and Honey Crisps are the only ones I REALLY like. I will eat a Pink Lady, but haven't found any others that I enjoy.

So....picture this.....my eyes bulging, anticiapting the taste. Then....as I take a bite, I literally had juice from the apple drip down my mouth (okay...maybe it is a good thing I did not videotape! LOL) But the apple is SO juicy and delicious. I have never experienced THAT juicy of an apple. The chocolate and caramel are VERY good. I am not a big chocolate eater....but mixed with the apple and caramel....a PERFECT marriage!

Received mine at work today. Refused to have one - though it WAS tempting! - until able to share with Partner Dude. I was VERY nervous they were going to be melting on the way home as it's just a bit warm out here today. Made it home fine and they're in the fridge!
