My Security software expires today! Help!

My Security software expires today! Help! I have CA now and hate it, the only reason we have used it is that DS18 got it free with his laptop he bought last year aftergraduation. What do you use????

We have been using PC Cillin by Trendo Micro (switched over from Norton a few years ago) We liked it because it did not bog down the computer, but my husband thinks it too is starting to make the computer run slower.

I've been using AVG, but you might want to check with your ISP to see if they give you anything free.

I use AVG free and haven't had any problems.

i use Norton Internet Security and have had no problems with it. i'm not a techie, so i can't say it's the best, but based on my experience, it works well.

I use AVG and Zone alarm without any issues. Both are free and in the sticky in the technical issues section.

I also agree with checking with your ISP provider. Both comcast and verizon have free security and firewall services. We had comcast and now have FIOS and what we found out just last week is we still had comcast's protection plus verizon, we were having problems getting bogged down until we de-installed comcast's mcafee.
