Do Bridal Registries Count?

i haven't seen this question asked, so, even though it seems silly, here goes: i've got a friend in another city who's getting married in september and has just let me know that she'll be registered at wal-mart, target, macy's and jcp. do SR merchants (especially the aforementioned) give credit for purchases made off bridal registries? :sunshine2: TIA!

I have seen some issues happen when you sign in and purchase through the registry. What happens is that some of the registry purchases go through Theknot or other websites and so take you away from the actual site of the store. My suggestion would be to purchase the gift through the site and get your rewards and then call the store and ask for the registry department and have them mark the product as purchased on her reigstry so that they know it has already been purchased.

I always shop through Target for registeries and have yet to have a problem. I just go thru the SR link and search for their registry and shop normally from there.

I did it with sears and had no problem getting the credit.
