Gas prices hitting shipping?

I placed two exact same orders from one of our companies four days apart. The second order had $1 additional shipping. My guess is the gas prices are hitting everybody!

I've noticed that too ! And there are less and less free shipping offers.

What I really hate are the sites that charge shipping based on price and not weight.

I was going to order some stuff from Masseys tonight, but for a couple tops the shipping was 15.95 and just seemed excesive because they don't weight much. I know ******* does that too. It worked out great when we ordered something very heavy but inexpensive, but it definatly stoped me from buying a 800 dollar necklace.

I wish more vendors would use the flat rate boxed from USPS, they aren't big but they would hold clothes easily and they are priority mail.
