Let me know if any of you decide to try out the new offer Ch.com so that I can keep an eye on the stats. It is one of those offers that just seems to good to be true!

So basically with the credits you get 4 movies free and then buy 2 more later (over 2 years) for as low as $7.95 and then any others you want over that amount.

Yep! Mine too! Get any good movies? I picked 300 (for DH), Never Been Kissed & Titanic because I needed those in DVD!:p

You all talked me into doing it. I order the Leapfrog videos for the kids as they seem to enjoy them. There are so many to chose from that it won't be hard meeting the additional membership requirements. Now - just waiting for the credit.

It said that we would receive an email in a couple days and then we can start shopping. Once I get my email I will let you know the prices!

I just did this one also and ordered the Dora and Diego movies that they had. Justin loves these movies for his TV so we will get great use out of these.

I got a couple dorky comedies for DH for his bday and father's day, and a Leslie Sansone walking DVD for me. Cool. I hope the reg priced DVDs aren't too crazy. I'm sure I can come up with 2 more DVDs to buy in a year! Esp as a bday gift, etc. Thanks! $8 is great! :clap:

I thought on the about program page it said new releases were 14.95.
Yeah were it says learn more upper right hand corner click on that and it lists new releases 14.95 and others for 7.95

I'm so glad I saw this thread, I signed up and it credited on the hour! We're driving up to Niagara falls (7 hour drive) in July, so this will be great with the new dual DVD player we bought for the kids to kill the boredom. (And to save my sanity from hearing "When are we going to be there???????"). I love these type of deals!!!:party:

My little sister was in we are Marshall, well as an extra but I can see her a couple times really well (actually she was even in the preview of the movie, she is dead center in the big crowd scene and they flash to her a lot). She went to Marshall when the movie was filmed and was choosen as a paid extra. It is a pretty good movie too !

If it's not I guess I'll just have to buy another DVD Express from Disney to make up for it! lol Gosh only knows Janet may post another good shoebuy sale! :)

My thoughts exactly! I've done quite a bit of damage this month shopping. I've long since past the $100 for SM for the quarter. I did get a Disney DVD Express when the credits went up for Tricia's birthday!!
If the Ch.com offer is gone, I'm sure I can find a few pairs of shoes in the next quarter. Have no fear!!! :rotfl:

DS will need football cleats, DD & DS will both need school shoes, and by then DH will need work shoes and prob'ly hunting &/or work boots again. And of course I can always use another pair of black somethings! I think Shoebuy alone will make me a supermember next quarter!!

When I did it I got a message that my application was received and if it is approved I will get an email. I didn't get credit yet either :confused:

Just a heads up. Not sure if their terms have changed, but I was a member a couple years ago and thought I had more than fulfilled my agreement. Turns out the terms state that only movies over a certain amount (I think $14.95) counted towards your fulfillment. So even though I bought a bunch of movies around $10, not a single one counted and at the end of my year I was sent a bill for the cost of 2 full priced, upper tier movies and then given a little flyer to pick 2 if I wanted. I had to pay regardless of whether I picked them or not.
It can still be a good deal, I just don't want anyone to get caught off guard like I did. Check the terms if you're planning on buying a couple cheaper movies.

Thanks for the heads up! 14.95 still isn't a bad deal, but your right when you thought you fulfilled your obligation it can be quite a surpise.
Also bumping so it doesn't get buried on 2nd/3rd page.

Just a heads up, I check my bank statment and they charged me $9.95 twice the day I signed up. I have e-mailed them and they want to to send them showing that they chaged me twice. I have e-mailed them again and have not heard back yet. So just make sure they only charge you once!

Thanks for the heads up. I know I have one charge for sure & then I have $9.95 pending too...thought that was weird...I'll have to watch for that!

Received my 8.00 credit pretty fast (hold til 7-15), now I'm just waiting on the email to buy a few more. I was able to find "old" movies I love to watch but can never find in the store! "Along Came A Spider", "The Fugitive" (with Tommy Lee Jones) and "The Bone Collector" which I absolutley love!!!

Did you ever get an email? I never have. I have been charged and have already received the movies. But no email at all yet and it's been almost 2 weeks.

I can't help, but would like to know also for some of the same reasons. I would like to purchase more. I got my email confirmation but it said I would receive another one in a few days, haven't received that or my movies yet.

I can tell you thought that your log in information will be the account number (which should be with your shipment paperwork) and your zip code. That doesnt help for those who haven't gotten the original shipment but if you did you should be able to get your account number off of the invoice.

There are like a billion automated prompts. I just finally pushed 0 and it sent me to a live operator. Who then transferred me to the website people. Who then basically told me sorry, can't help you right now. She said they are having all kind of issues with their site and that I should just keep trying to sign on everyday. I told her that was unacceptable and she basically said there was nothing she could do about it. So she's sending me a return mailing envelope for the original 3 in case I chose to cancel the account.
As of right now, I'm just going to wait and see. I hope I can get in by the end of the week, but I signed up over 3 weeks ago and I still can't get on. I don't understand why some of you could and some of us can't? Makes no sense.
(oh and she did offer to do an order over the phone if I wanted)

Well, all of the sudden I'm able to get online! Imagine that. :rolleyes: I guess calling did help. Otherwise that's awfully interesting that calling, complaining and threatening to cancel had nothing to do with the fact I can finally (after almost 3 weeks) get online. :)
Either way, if you've gotten your movies but no email, I'd try to sign on today. Just click on sign-on. The user name is your account number, password is your mailing zip. If it doesn't work, maybe try and call too? ;)
I'm off to order a movie for my daughter's birthday. Now that everything is working, it's definitely a good deal!

I finally called and they said they had no account in my name. I am not happy that I didn't get the movies for my sil's birthday! I ordered on June
11th and got a confirmation email. I also got credit so I guess I shouldn't complain too much but I really did want the movies!!
