Sorry, I like to read TR but not into writing them plus we all had trouble keeping our days straight. But, here are my very random thoughts and lessons learned from our trip:

1. After checking in our luggage, in Nashville, some idiot removed the pull strap from our rolling luggage. Tip - lanyards work very nicely.

2. Tip - if you have a tween who is really still a little girl and girly, at that, don't listen to her when she tells you she doesn't want a Princess outfit for the P&PP, she wants to be a pirate. I found what were probably past P&PP tshirts at our former Disney store for $1.69. Great deal. She loved it. We all had one. However, after getting to WDW and seeing all the little girls dressed up, she wanted to be a princess after all. So, we spent the first hour of the party buying a Jasmine outfit, braiding her hair, trying to get the crown to stay in place, and finally returning it. On retrospect, I would have bought the costume, online, on sale, thru SR. I would have also done the Bibbity etc thing. She looked like she really wanted to, but it was kind of late to fit it in. She did get her face painted as a Kitty Princess. Also, we saw the Cowsills the same evening, we should have done it another day and been at the park for the very beginning of the party. DD12 also changed shirts, she bought one of the current P&PP shirts.

3. Dining reservations - were no problem at all, but we ate during off hours for lunch. Just went by the concierage and she made all our reservations. Even re-scheduled, twice. Made too many. We all picked a country to eat in so we had to hit Epcot four times, plus we went to 3 concerts, there. Wasted alot of time. Mexico isn't as good as it used to be. UK is just okay. Germany is fine but my girls ate about $2 worth of their $20 lunch. France was good, but we forgot we needed to share a meal. Creme Brulee is to die for. Yummy. Walked into Yak and Yeti's without any problem, about 5-10 minute wait and we all liked it the best. Here are a couple pics from our Yak and Yeti meal. Really nice that DD12 has finally branched out on her eating, I am sick of McDonald's. Now, if we can just DD10 to do the same.

4. Luau - we liked it, might of been corny, but we still liked it. And, we enjoyed the food. Except for DD10, LOL, she ate one of the box meals. Everyone was very nice.

5. Concerts - Gary Puckett was awesome, he looks great for nearly 70 and voice is still great. Made me remember all the feelings I had when I was hearing him for the first time at 12 and then freaked me out to think about all the feelings and the fact that Grace is 12 and will be 13 in 3 wks. Yikes. Cowsills were good, never was a big fan but they put on a great show. I was really wondering what Susan had under her very short dress and was afraid we were going to find out, it was a very windy day. Tony Orlando was also great, he has lost 110 lbs, looks great and I could definetly have a crush on him. He is a great entertainer.

6. Crowds were not bad, except when you were trying to get somewhere. Lines were very short, except for Toy Mania and it broke down during our wait. But, it was fun. Also, had a long wait on Space Mtn (my personal favorite), the last night, the fast pass line alternated with us standbyers instead of running two lines. About 50 of them would go in for every 4-6 of us. :(

7. Loved POFQ, we stayed in building 5, right across from laundry and pool. Everything was a close walk. Buses weren't bad, at the most, a 15-20 min wait, usually less. Except for Saturday when we were heading for Downtown Disney, then we had a nearly hour wait. Lady in front of us complained. They are supposed to come by every 20 min. Saw lots going elsewhere during the hour. Boatride is nice change of pace. Used the heck out of the souvenier cups. Got hot chocolate nearly every night.

8. Didn't get around to eating a Dole Whip or Turkey leg, could I get one mailed to me?

Oh my, I can't wait to eat here! I made two lunch reservations for our Oct. trip...one at the beginning of the week and just in case we "love it" I made another for our last full day at WDW. I have a friends daughter that had just eaten here last Sat. and she called her Mom (my friend) and told her to call me and tell me that they had lettuce wraps just like PF Changs only she thought they tasted better? Oh boy....I'll be all over those things for sure! The food in those pictures look delicious and I can hardly wait to try this restaurant. :rotfl::rotfl:

9. Earl of Sandwich is wonderful, also. Grace had the Beef and Bleu, twice. Anna had the kids pizza sandwich and liked it. I can't remember what I ate, sandwichwise, but loved the choc chip cookies and muffin toppers (I brought an apple cinnamon home for yesterday's breakfast)

10. I only gained 2 of the 20 pounds I had lost.

11. Check out the big Disney store in Downtown Disney, FIRST, if you have a DR card. You get 10% off. When I think about how much I could have saved IF we had done that, starting with the Jamine costume and on.

12. Love, love the Basin at Downtown Disney, as do my two girls. We spent over $100, there. Gotta take alot of long baths with all the those bath salts and bath bombs, plus love the body cream. Wonder if they have an affliate thing that SR could get? My neices like the stuff, too. Thinking Christmas.
