Question re: Credit Holds on iTunes

I understand that purchases made through SR require hold times in case someone returns something, but was just wondering why there is a hold on iTunes downloads ... it's not like you can un-download them! ;)

Yes, any puchase made, whether from iTunes or another retailer, has a credit hold. It's 3 days if you're a super member and 21 days if you're not.

It is an automatic thing that the system does. Since it can't distinguish between one shopping credit and another they all have to be treated the same way.
