Cash Back Decreases

By now I am sure that some of you have noticed some cash back decreases on your favorite merchants (Shoes for Crews, Carters, Osh Kosh, etc.) I just wanted to let you know that we NEVER lower the cash back on a merchant in order to increase our own profits. The only time that we lower the cash back is if the merchants lowers what they are paying us. We essentially have a formula that we use to divide up what the merchants pays us between us and you. So when they go up, we increase what we pay you. When they go down, we decrease what we pay you.

We're seeing a lot of these right now because it is the first of the year and some of the merchants were nice enough not to lower commissions during the holiday season even though for their own sustainability they needed to. I think we will see some of them increase again once they realize that they are losing sales as a result.
