what is with otx? their 24 hour clock works whenever they feel like it. on saturday it took me until 12 in the afternoon to get a survey (a lot of hours went by b4 i got one), got one on sunday about the same time as saturday but today i tried at 12 and again at 12:30 and all i get is the page that says i have exceeded my limit. does this strike anyone as weird that the 24 hour clock is whatever time they want it to be not what it actually is. this is my vent and rant for the day.:confused::computer::computer::computer:

it has now been over 3 1/2 hours since i first started trying to get an otx survey and i still can't. all i get is that stupid page that says i have reached my limit for the day - try again tomorrow. what is going on here? just a wee bit confused and somewhat frustrated. HELP!!!!!!:confused::computer::computer::computer:

Marcy, I understand your frustration. Truly, I do. If you've already cleared your cookies and waited a while, tried again, and it's still not working, my advice would be to give it a rest. Take the day off, relax, and things will be better in the morning. No survey is worth that amount of frustration. :sunshine:

I've had the same problem. I haven't gotten one in weeks. They were going so good for awhile, Now they say i already did one.

for the last couple of days otx has been relatively cooperative in letting me get a survey in 24 hours. not today though. it has been over 24 hours since i did my last one and had it credit and i keep getting the page that says i have reached my limit for the day - come back tomorrow. i know you have all heard my rants on a number of occasions lately but otx is making me a little crazy as they don't really stick to a 24 hour clock - it's whatever time they feel like. how fair is that?:confused::computer::computer::computer:

Are you getting any of them through Greenfield and closing out instead of attempting/booted out by them?

I've been getting quite a few OTX through Greenfield lately, but I try for them, but don't close out. I think it is the same principle as when going directly through OTX, if you close out yourself it will think you did one, but if you try and fail you can try again.

My other thought might be to check 24 hours after you received credit, but it seems you probably got that at 12 for an 11:30 survey, so not sure.

One thing you need to watch for is that Greenfield often has OTX surveys through them. If you take an OTX through Greenfield in either the Daily Survey or SM Survey, that will fill your OTX quota for the day and you will not be allowed to take an OTX. Personally, I choose to not do the OTX through Greenfield because I go through OTX. I simply close out the screen if it is an OTX survey and try for another one through Greenfield. But... even doing this, I have to wait at least an hour before trying an OTX or it will say that I have reached my limit. If you choose to do an OTX through Greenfield, you just have to accept the fact that you need to wait 24 hours before trying another OTX.

A few months ago, I had trouble with OTX giving me the exceeded limit message no matter how much time had passed. The only way I was able to get past that was to run CCleaner and clear everything out. Since then, I haven't had any issues with OTX! OTX has been very good for me and for most days, I am able to get credit for all 3 available surveys (DS,SM and OTX).

dear ladies - no i am not taking my otx surveys thru gf - only thru otx so i do not understand why i am having so many problems with them. i clean out all my cookies, delete my temp internet files and i still can't get one today. it has now been over 3 hours since i started trying and i am still getting the same message.:thanks: for all your kind words - they are truly appreciated. guess i just get frustrated when things don't go the way they should and it kinda pisses me off. oh well, maybe i shouldn't stress as much over surveys as there is always tomorrow to try again. :thanks: again for everything and have a wonderful wednesday. guess i just had to vent a little.:(
