I found a great app for my phone (Android)...myfitnesspal. It calculates exactly how many calories you need to burn/consume in order to reach your weight loss goal. You can input your exercise (and they even have choices like "cleaning" and "cooking") and your food consumption. There are something like 60,000 foods in the database, including food from restaurants! You can either input them manually or scan the bar code. I log everything I eat and it keeps a running tally of how many calories I have left for the day. If I input any exercise, I get more calories to eat:love:. It is absolutely awesome!! I showed it to DH yesterday and now he wants an Android phone, just so he can get the app:rotfl:! Best of all, the app is FREE and it syncs to an online account so you can access from a computer if you do not have your phone available. I've lost 2 pounds since I started it....3 days ago!
